As the golden regenration energy faded , the Doctor was surprised to see that he still had the same body. The age though had gone from his face and he was younger looking again. Why hadn't he regenrated?
He was shocked. The time lord knew that he should have regenrated. He had been sure it was his time. Though he still had a whole new cycle of regenrations to spare now. But instead of feeling young and full of energy. He just felt drianned.

He was sure it was because he needed rest, he walked over to the console and was about to flick some controls. Though he was too weak and dizzy. He ended up falling face first onto the floor of the TARDIS. He passed out.
The TARDIS did what she knew was best and took the Doctor too Torchwood and landed in the hub. The Doctor was still passed out and didn't realize where he was.

The base was quiet. Weelll, quietish for some beeps and clicks of typing occurred. Jack was bored. Yeah paper work was a drag but nothing interesting occured within the last three weeks. Sitting in his chair, spinning it from one way to the other, head resting on the back of the chair and looking at the ceiling as he did so. His long fingers fiddles with a pen that he was using to write with until he heard the familiar sounds that made him stop everything he was doing and shot up in his chair to soon stand, walking in a fast pace to his huge window of which he saw everything within the hub. A smile grew on his forever unaging features when he saw the blue box that he would never forget. Walking quickly out of his office/room, Jack Harkness went quickly down the stairs to meet his close friend. Smiling, he was only a few feet from the TARDIS, his light blue button up, dark blue tie, tan suspenders, dark slacks and dark shoes, Jack took a breath and exhailed when he reached for the door and turned the knob, pushing the door open.
Walking into the Tardis was like walking into it for the first time all over again. Everything was new to Jack but what he didnt understand was how quiet it was. That wasn't a good sign, he was use to a excited, greeting. Looking around as he stepped forward cautiously, the immortal slid his right hand to his holster of his gun, preparing for anything that wasn't an ally or the Doctor. Then he noticed a body on the floor. It was young with adult clothing. Jack continued his cautious pace toward the body when he crouched beside it. Jack put two fingers in the pulse point of the man's neck. He felt life which was good. But also an irregular heart beat. He then recognized it. "Doctor?" He asked, confused till it hit him. "Shit. Doctor." He picked up the body and brought him out of the TARDIS and onto the couch in the hub.

The time lord's breathing was heavy. He looked rather worn out, his hair was all messed up as well. The Doctor was dreaming as he lay there , He kept muttering things in his sleep, most in galliefreyian but some in english. He was holding onto Jack a bit as he was moaned. The time lord moaned. He looked like he really needed to rest awhile. The TARDIS had brought him to Torchwood, knowing that he would be safe with Jack.
The Doctor was still asleep even as he was lain on the couch. He didn't want to wake up just yet. Even when he finally did, he still felt drainned and weak. He panicked and woke all confused. He backed up a bit.
"Where am I?" he looked around. Had somebody captured him? He was confused and didn't realize he was safe at the moment. The time lord was all shaky. He remembered he hadnt really regenrated like he thought though. He was still shocked by that.
The Doctor fell back into the couch, Maybe he would know what was going on when he was actaully more awake. The time lord was shaking still. He looked very tired still. but he didn't want to go back to sleep. Not yet at least.

Jack stayed next to the time lord, even feeling the hold the Doctor had on him while he was muttering things in his sleep. This wasnt all too new for Jack. He had stayed by many others, making sure they were okay and wouldnt hurt themselves or anything, though with the doctor, he needed some comfort. Sitting there the immprtal looked around the hub of his little base of operations then to the TARDIS. Giving a long thought toward going into the blue box was something he was very tempted on doing for a few reasons. One was figure out what happen. Then went against that decision. So without further ado, Jack went to the TARDIS and looked inside. Harkness thought it would be interesting to look inside and get use to something he would have to get use to all over again for when it changed.
Spending over what felt lile hours (to actually being half an hour, Jack heard a voice from outside the TARDIS, heading out to see who said it. Coming out and looking toward the couch, he saw the Doctor was awake and sitting on the couch. With a smiled Harkness walked toward him. "Your in Torchwood. I was pretty sure you would have remembered it somehow buty guess is is that you havent been here alot to remember." At this time he was standing by the couch, the smile never fading. "Remember me?"

The Doctor was looking at Jack. "Torchwood... yeah I remember faintly, never really got to see your base that much." He smiled . The time lord was thinking. He rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. "I remember you Jack, "The time lord still felt drainned "I feel old today.. and even at 2000 years old I don't normally feel my age." he chuckled. The Doctor lay back down on the couch. He had missed Jack. "I really missed you."
He had been through so much since he had last seen Jack. He curled up in his blankets. He was wondering if he would get to spend a bit of time with Jack. This time he didn't want to leave him for awhile. His stomach growled.
"Have you got any fish fingers and custard?" He asked Jack. The time lord had a childish grin on his face. He was rather hunry and wanted his favourite food. He knew not many approved of his sense in taste.

Jack had sat on the table as the Doctor was talking, glad that he remembered. He chuckled when the time lord was telling him about how he could feel his age. It was probably because of the fact that he was still regenerating? It was possible. Jack was touched when the time lord said that he missed the immortal, a grin coming across his features. Though hearing about the Doctor asking if he had fish and custard was new. He was use to him asking about fruits, not fish and custard. He nodded, "I believe so. Let me go see." And so Jack was off to see if he had what the Doctor was requesting.
Returning about twenty minuteslater, Jack Harkness had returned with a tray that had a plate of fried fish, a bowl of custard, and a cup of tea. He set the tray on the table, "it seems I did. Tho ught yiy would like some tea as well though I dont know if you got a different tasteof tea flavor wise." Jack hoped he made enough for the Doctor.

The Doctor smiled widely when he saw the fishfingers and custard, He wasn't sure what Jack would think of his new taste in food. He dipped one in the custard and ate it. He seemed to be grinning. "Oh Tea would be great," He said happuly. He took the cup of tea and sipped it. "Do you want to try some fish fingers and custard?" So far not many areed with him that it tasted good.
Amy and Rory had been the only ones to even try it. He seemed to be rather relaxed on the couch. He smiled "Most tea is fine Jack." he chuckled. The time lord still loved his tea, he wasn;t one to drink things like wine and such. The time lord needed company currently.

Seeing the Doctor's reaction was mosr amusing but worth seeing after what recently happen to the Time Lord. Jack watched as the Doctor ate the fish fingers with the with the custard, not seeing a problem with his tastes in food. When the Time Lord offered, Jack decided it wouldnt hurt to try something new. "Sure. Havent tried it." So Harkness took a fish finger and dipped it in the custard. Taking a bite of it and making sure to taste it, chewing thoughtfully. The immortal nodded, giving an interested look on his facial features. "Interesting. This is rather good." Jack turned the fishfinger on the other side he didnt bite down on and dipped it into the custard, eating it contently.
Jack then got to thinking. What happen to the Doctor that made him regenerate into a teenager? Wonder if he would answer. "Doctor? Mind telling me what happen? How you regenerated into a teenager?"

He watched as the other tried the fishfingers and custard. The time lord was breathing deeply. "See told you" He chuckled. "Most my friends wouldn't try it." He pouted. He was glad at least Jack had tried some. It made him happy. The Doctor was still eating. He knew that he would need to take it easy still. "I'm 2000 years old now, I was dying... on my last regenration, but managed to get a new cycle. I wasn't meant to keep this face, but suppose it was luck."
The Doctor was looking at him. "Regenration is random... But suppose kept up with a young apparence over the last few , to fit in and be accepted." The time lord shrugged. "But its still fairly random;"

Jack listened to the Doctor, puzzled by wjat had happed to him but was amazed that he managed to get a new cycle and somehow get younger. Odd to say the least but was glad his friend wasnt leaving anytime soon from this universe. "Well eithway, im glad that your alive, well and up and about." Jack said as he had stood. "Well. Eeveryone is here there and everywhere. Holiday, vacation, outings. So it has been me, myself and I till you arrived. Not complaining. However. I found out something very interesting a week ago. Didnt think nothing of it since it came and gone. But I might have found a dpor way or some sort. Remember alternate demensions? I managed to locate the door way while you were asleep."

The Doctor was looking at him. He was glad that he wasn't going to die anytime soon. He had thought that time lords lived to long. But he knew that Jack would miss him.
"Ah? I suppose we should check it out.?" He grinned. He just hoped that there wasn't going to be any problems attached, "We should check that it is safe and not going to cause any damage to the universe."
He seemed to have forgotten he had been tired earlier.

The Doctor was looking at him. He was glad that he wasn't going to die anytime soon. He had thought that time lords lived to long. But he knew that Jack would miss him.
"Ah? I suppose we should check it out.?" He grinned. He just hoped that there wasn't going to be any problems attached, "We should check that it is safe and not going to cause any damage to the universe."
He seemed to have forgotten he had been tired earlier.

Lol. Yeah. Mom slowly converted me. Waiting to get season 9. Hopefully they stop at season 9 and not make another season.)
Jack smiled, "Well today is our lucky day, from what I gathered, the door way of sorts opens once a week on the same day, place, and time." Jack looked at his watch. "It opens in the next 5 minutes, and at the docks near by." Harkness grabbed his all favorite trench coat, looking to the doctor. "So we ready? TARDIS or walking?"

The Doctor was looking at him. "Ah I see." He grinned. The time lord was ready to go and look around. "Walk... The TARDIS needs to rest and repair a little and she is mad at me."
He ran a hand through his hair.

Jack grinned a cheeky grin as he walked over to bars and opened the entrance before stopping and waving him over. "Come on. Its not far really. So if need be we can come back. and get more prepared." Harkness said as he pulled out a old looking device.

The Doctor was looking at him. "Oh alright/" He grinned, "Geronmino?" He chuckled. The time lord was in a better mood then he had been on his own. He was glad to be with Jack again.
He had missed the immortal.
