This is based on a book based on the Faustian bargain.
Across the globe, 10 year olds are plucked from their bedrooms one silent night and almost dissappear from existance. Their parents do not notice. They were never there in the first place, as far as they were concerned.
5 years later, the children reappear in an apartment in New York, and magically get into a prestigous school, Marlowe. The students there meet them at a Christmas party and realize that these kids are unlike any other. This is because that Madame Vileroy, the teens' governess, saw these children before they saw her. She knew that each of them deeply desired something and would do anything for it-even sell their soul to her, which is what they did. They were given gifts-magical powers, to help achieve their goal. A black mark appears on the childrens' chests when it becomes wet, to symbolize their loyalty and dark heart. But every gift comes with a price…
Basically 1 person (me) is Madame Vileroy, and they GM everything. Vileroy is a magical person and is immune to all powers and things and will trick your characters. A lot. Then a maximum of 5-6 people are her kids, and everyone else is a normal kid who is competing with the Fausts (thejr last name is faust). You'll find out more about Vileroy in the RP. :3 The Fausts do not have powers like fire or water or anything too dangerous, but like mind reading and future telling. They're also going to be big fat jerks unless they learn to be nicer or they have a good reason to be. Some might also have memorry loss and not remember that they sold their soul and think that they lived with Vileroy and had powers threir entire life.
