[OOC] Zombie Apocalypse RP

The year is 1911 and zombies have overrun most of North America.You are traveling with a group of survivors to find a safe haven. Most cities and settlements are overrun, yet rooftops are safe. You came across this group of survivors when you all happened to be in the same abandoned town, whether you were hiding out there, just passing though, or you were looking for other survivors. Regardless, you all found each other and its up to you to put an end to this undead plague or at least escape it.

Looking for a minimum of 3 people and a max of 6 (however this is subject to change).

Rules:
-No god mode
-Must have decent grammar and writing skills
-This is going to be a fast pace RP. If you are not online on a daily basis, I don't suggest joining
-Please consider the time period when you post and create your character. Be realistic.
-BE ACTIVE! I cannot stress this enough. Too many RPs I've been in have gone down due to negligence. You do know that others can see when you post and where you post. If I see that you are not posting in this RP (When you have been addressed or someone is waiting on your reply) while you are being active in other RPs, I'm going to take that as a sign that you have left the RP. If you do not want to be in the RP anymore just TELL me. It's a lot more decent than just ditching.
-I'm not going to be like one of those GMs that say "my word is law" but when I make a rule or a decision, there is a good reason behind it. All rules and decisions are up for discussion and if you would like to change any of them, I'm all ears to your suggestions.

Role: "doctor"/healer
Appearance: Dark brown hair and light green eyes. Pale skin. Busty. Thin. About five feet four inches.
Personality: The go getter with an attitude. Not afraid of much and likes to get things going fast. Sometimes rather impatient. Sometimes reckless, but never careless.
Bio: Lee grew up in a small town. There weren't many men around due to a mining accident. The shop owners and various other employers had to start hiring women to do the men's jobs. Lee was taken in as the apothecary's apprentice. Then the disease hit. Just about everyone was infected. Lee was one of the few to escape.
Occupation before the apocalypse: (make it realistic to the time period): Apothecary's apprentice
Weapons: (you are entitled to 2 weapons. However, if they are both guns, you will have little ammo.) Knife and an old pistol with only one bullet (it's a last resort).
Horse: (optional) black and white palomino named Glory after her infected sister, Gloria. She found Glory roaming the streets.
Strengths: Intimidation. Handles a knife pretty well. Sneaking around. Gathering information, especially if by force.
Other info: Lee's bad at hospitality. If something needs to be negotiated diplomatically, ask her to leave the room.

Appearance: A man of style
Personality: He is a typical gentleman of the time. He is kind, respectful, and generous towards women, showing signs of great maturity, especially since his days with the Marines. He bears a past filled with crime and bad actions that he hopes to redeem himself of. He is intolerant of nonsense and is at all times serious. A very notable character trait of his is his cynicism. His poor upbringing as well as his time in the Marines resulted in his cynical view on life. However, despite this, he has maintained his sanity, and is a good person at heart.
Bio: Donald was an orphan who was abused in just about every way possible. He joined the US Marine in 1903 and was promptly sent to protect American interests & lives in Panama during and following Panama's revolution for independence from Colombia over construction of the Isthmian Canal. His commanding officer was corrupt, he corrupted others with him. Donald begrudgingly went along with their corruption, their murders, when they kidnapped several women to be their consorts he could no longer go abide their evil. He turned them in and helped hunt them down. He was seen as a traitor by many of his comrades, he was all but forced to retire when his contract was up. He joined the US Marshal Services upon his arrival back to the States, he was stationed in the west.

It's going to be fast pace once we have enough people to start. The gathering stage is always slow, it's inevitable. I was thinking we'd start this on Thursday or Friday, depending on the amount of people we have by then.

Florence

Personality: Florence is a very practical and realistic woman. She knows her boundaries as a woman, considering the time period, and she doesn't count on things that are unlikely to happen. However, this does not stop her from mixing in at saloons and having a knack for firearms. As a dance hall girl, she could be considered a woman living in a man's world (wink wink nudge nudge), but does not use it to her advantage. She can be very independent but also works well in groups. She is usually helpful and has a good sense of humor.
Bio: Florence was born in the region of Gaptooth Ridge, to a miner father and a housewife mother. She did not see her father much, as he lived at the mine and only visited when he could, which resulted her in having to live in a very small cabin with her mother and younger brother. Her mother was a religious nut, claiming the bible gave her the right to beat her children and torture them in various ways. Both Florence and her brother did not go to school, as their mother did not let them out of the house much, aside from chores and sending them into town to get needed items. When Florence was fifteen, her mother beat her brother to death, which compelled her to run away from home. She had little money and no schooling, which forced her to go into prostitution in Thieve's Landing.After turning eighteen, Florence learned that she could work as a dance hall girl and make more money. She started working as a dance hall girl in Armadillo. When she was twenty, she married a man who was a regular at the saloon and had taken a specific liking to her (this happened often with dance hall girls).
Occupation before the apocalypse: Dance hall girl (not to be confused with prostitute. Dance hall girls were employed at saloons to keep the men company and to attract their attention to keep them at the saloon longer, spending more money on gambling and drinks. Dance hall girls did not sleep with the men at the saloon in exchange for money).
Weapons: Double action revolver and knife
Horse: American standard
Strengths: skilled at shooting and keeping calm during chaotic situations

Appearance: Messy blonde hair with grey/blue eyes. Around 6 feet with fair skin. Often wears a green shirt with a leather vest and jeans.
Personality: Bob is quick witted and often a joker. Loves to tease and mess around, but when someone is in danger, know he'll be the first to their aid.
Bio: Bob's father was the owner of a general goods store, and by the time he was 12, his father made sure he knew how to work by having him do odd jobs around the shop and running it at times. During his time there, Bob met all sorts of people and heard all about the life outside of town. Starvation, disease, outlaws and other dangers seemed to be everywhere out there, and he wanted it. After all, the daring life of a bounty hunter seemed so much more exciting than that of a shopkeeper. One day, while he was running the shop, an old china man (actually Nepalese) came to the shop, but couldn't afford the supplies he needed. Deciding to be nice to the man, Bob let him have everything free of charge. To thank him, the man gave him a strange looking knife which he called a "kukri", that had been passed down his family. Bob thought the world of the kukri, but his father was infuriated by what his son had done. Until he made up the money for all the supplies he had given, he was not allowed back in their house. Setting off to live the life he had dreamed of, Bob quickly found out how harsh the world really is and learned to adapt to it.
Occupation before the apocalypse: Shopkeeper
Weapons: Kukri, Coach gun.
Horse: Dark brown. Named Arrow.
Strengths: Excels with his kukri and isn't too bad with a gun
Other info: Bartering is something hes learned to do well, but sometimes tries to negotiate with set terms. Best to let him stop talking once a deal is made.
