The pairing idea I have for my plot are as follows: Union Male Vampire Civil War Soldier (My Characters Husband who was believed to be dead) - Female Human Union Soldiers Wife (Your Characters wife). Let's me just get some things about my vampires out there and the vampires I need to be played. They do NOT sparkle, they don't feel ice cold, they look dead on a normal human, they bleed, they can get sick, they hold a normal human body temperature unless angered, when they are angered they get hot, they don't always need human blood, they have control over themselves, so since they don't drink human blood all the time they drink animal blood, THEY DO however need human blood every once in a while. They do eat food and drink liquid like normal humans, they are extremely strong, and they do sleep. So my idea has the vampire being my characters husband which the army told her was killed in action. She found out she was pregnant only weeks after he left, only a few days later to receive a letter stating her husband had been killed and that was months ago as the role play starts. It turns out he had been shot and was near death, but a vampire bit him in order to save him. Then they showed him how to be in control, pretty much how tolive an immortal life as a vampire. Finally he is ready to head home, he finds himself wondering if his wife-the love of his life had waited for him or if she has moved on. He remembers how upset she was when he was enlisting and leaving her to care for the farm on her own. It broke his heart to do it, but they needed the money he would be getting paid to serve and fight. He gets two shocks of a lifetime when he returns to the home in the middle of the night, his wife...she still has the engagement her he had proposed to her with on her left ring finger along with the wedding ring he had given her on their wedding day. She had promised him if anything happened to him she would never move on, that she'd never remarry. She'd kept her promise to him. He doea his best not to wake her as he slides into the bed behind her. Thats when he gets a second surprise of a lifetime as he slips his arms around his wife and gets kicked! He is so shocked he moves the blankets to find his wife is pregnant, he been gone a matter of seven months total, the child had to be his. After all they had been trying for months after their wedding to have children.
