Very in depth, my friend. I hope you will stay the whole way though. Btw what's your character?
Many thanks, and I haven't decided yet, though I do like being creative. I suppose the first thing would be to start with a song and build from there. I do like sketching fantastical creatures so maybe I'll do some of that too.

Great points! Music record labels, television companies that air fights, and other companies and people sponsor and make money off of them. The creatures are "owned" by the company, they do have free will, but they all want to stay.Betting and admission fees get the company rich. And I'll be AFK for a little while (About an hour).
I suppose popular bands and singers might have their own too, if only for publicity. Even if they are corporately owned, I like the idea of the public being able to "sponsor" their favorite creature, would give them a greater sense of involvement and increase competition between fighters and fans.
As interesting as the idea is, there doesn't seem to be much of a plot line yet. There ought to be some deeper conflict than the beasts' initial aggressiveness toward each other. Perhaps there is an incident where someone is injured, or even a rights movement. These are only speculations of course, you may have something different in mind.
EDIT:
Other than no theme songs, can any song/music track be used?
If the creatures were created in a laboratory, do they really have a sex, or are they asexual and just display male or female aspects (as far as a more feminine or masculine appearance, or even just so the fans can refer to them as a he or a she)?
Can there be regular human characters, presumably the scientist/musician who created the beast and if not will those people just be NPCs and not really involved in the story?
