Here's the OOC for the Lizardfolk RP. I'll post my main character soon, a male lizardfolk named Sarkon. Feel free to play as many characters as you think you can handle. No godmodding, no OP characters, and if you choose to play a lizardfolk, here are some guidelines. Some of them can be bent if you really want them to be, but the norms are:
- Lizardfolk use light clothing, no footwear. Something like loincloths, capes, robes, etc. They can climb and swim quite a bit better than most humans. And while they have claws, they don't have webbed feet.
- Males are larger than females, much like crocodiles, not certain lizards where the reverse is true. Females lack a certain mammilian feature, so they don't need to cover their chests for that. Nothing to see anyway. No bellybuttons either, as they hatch from eggs.
- This takes place in a far more primitive setting than the real world. No lizards on laptops or with cell phones. Or firearms. Or airplanes. Or typing on RP forums in an RP. That last one would be really meta anyway. :)
- You can give them any personality you want, but their mainstream society values strength. Meek, passive, or greedy lizards are looked down on. If you want a more peaceful character who doesn't want to do things like fight, kill, fish, or hunt, you might try a mage or hermit in the jungle, or a merchant. Both groups exist outside of mainstream society. Females can fight too, and often hunt and fish.
