What kinds of cartoons did you watch as a kid? I'm actually interested to know cause I have no idea what's been on TV since I haven't had it regularly since I was probably 15.

None...? I wasn't really into cartoons; I preferred to read or be read to. I still have a soft spot for Disney movies though.

I was at the library every week, reading a book a day or every two, and still found time to love cartoons. And Disney of course ;)

I'm sort of obsessed with Roman culture right now... As in, I spent yesterday evening making a dress for Homecoming (I won't get to go this year, but there's always prom!) and I wound up making a Roman-style tunic. Probably for the best, because I can't sew for the life of me and neither could the Romans, but... That was just an awkward moment when I held up my project for my mom. "Oh, it's... A toga. Why did you make a toga?" Technically not a toga, but... Close enough.

Agreed, I like some Disney songs better than their respective movies. And even without sewing that's pretty crafty!

yeah, sorry I take umbrage with Disney now that they've moved entirely away from hand-drawn animation.
also due to the fact that the only disney movie to have any sort of remote expectation of soul crushing reality was Bambi with the death of Bambi's mother.

not that I am bitter. but repackaging old fairy tales and putting happy ending spins on them when they were meant to be cautionary tales to children burns my wick a little.
