Thedas nodded, "as long as your alright princess that's all I care about." He squeezed her hand under the table, letting out a small sigh escape his lips. "Just to think, one family almost destroyed just for me to find another one again."

Lauralye leaned over the edge of her seat and kissed Robert's cheek, "I like the sound of us... being a family." She squeezed his hand that he held and continued to eat her food slowly. The rest of the day went flawlessly, in fact, the first few months of their reign went without a hitch. Although, Lauralye seemed to be falling in and out of illness. She often went for a walk with a guard outside if the room became too stuffy and made her feel sick. She walked to the training ring today, which wasn't uncommon for when she wanted to see her King. She beckoned him over and placed her hands on the railing, "I went to see the doctor today. They think they know why I haven't been feeling well," She took one of Robert's hands and looked up at him, grinning, "I'm pregnant..." She whispered happily.

A grin formed on thedas's face, waving behind him. He didn't look away from lauralye as he said it, "go find the other battle master I'm done for today." With that, he got over the rail. A full smile on his face, picking up lauralye and spinning her before he set her down again.

Lauralye stepped away from the rail as Robert hoisted himself up and over it. She grinned as he wrapped his arms around her and put her arms around his neck as he spun them. She laughed a little when he placed her back on her feet. She took one of his hands and guided it from her back to his stomach. She had already had a small little bump that was just starting to harden. She and the doctors had been slightly confused by the weight gain. However, with the hardening they jumped into tests for pregnancy. She leaned forward and against Thedas, "They think I'm about three or four months along."

Thedas nodded, "I'm gonna be a father great hopefully she or he won't be a handful as I was when I was little. Though how's the question will they have the wings or not?" That's the main thing he was wondering right now, as he thought mostly about it.

Lauralye laughed and cupped his face in her hands, "I'm sure that they will be," She teased. She pursed her lips a little when he asked about wings. She didn't know if she wanted her child to have wings. As much as she loved Robert's, he had told her of all the trials that he went through because of them as well. People wanting to cut them off... She didn't know if she wanted her child to deal with that and have to hide them. She smiled at him, "I guess we will have to wait and see."

Thedas smiled, then nodded. He sighed, "with how much I've been through with these things I hope not it's bad enough I need to hide them I don't want the child to have to do the same thing."

Lauralye looked up at him and smiled before she rested her head on his chest, "I was just thinking about that... But... You are the King... No one in the palace would dare think about cutting off your wings," She started to play with his shirt a little, "You could probably have them out if you wanted..."

Thedas just shrugged, then laughed slightly. "What's the point your the only one who gets to see them and I rather keep it that way my Queen." His arms were around her waist, he sighed resting his chin on top of her head. "Plus we'll not keep the child behind these walls no I want him or her allowed to go where ever he or she desires."

Lauralye smiled as he wrapped her arms around her, holding her close to him with his chin on her head. She nodded her head slightly, "Of course... I was trapped in these walls... I would never wish it upon our child but... It will still have to be within reason," She pulled her head back and looked up at him, "They will be the heir to the throne after all."

Thedas sighed, but nodded. "Alright then I don't really mind that, though we have to let him or her pass these walls sometimes let them get to know what people are out there though I will always make sure there with an escort or me or you whichever."

Lauralye nodded, "We can do it as a family," she rested her head against his chest, "I may have magic... But I don't know if I could protect us like you could." She stepped out of his arms and took his hand in her's before she started to walk, "Let's begin with today," she smiled, "take me to the city?"

Thedas smiled to that before nodding, "yah we can go princess." He laced his fingers with hers, guiding them to the stables. Getting the saddles on the horses, and helping her up. "Wherever you want to go love I will follow right beside you."
