*shrugs* S'not for everyone. But, as a fan, I can tell you there are a lot of reasons why a lot of people enjoy it.

But seriously Taaj, this episode is really an odd one out from the batch. Most episodes aren't very much like this at all. So if you wanted to watch just one episode to get a feel for the show, I suggest you try another one.

It's actually the animation style I don't like. Certain types of animation are just unappealing to look at. That's why I never used to watch anime, but now that I've gotten used to it I actually like it, though some anime styles I still don't like. I watched like 5 episodes of Vampire Knight and had to stop because the animation was so bad, and none of the characters faces looked right, the eyes were just too big and all their movements were really unnatural. Also the story was boring and I was gonna keep going like "Eh, maybe it will get better," but then I decided I could do better things with my time.

So how many Adventure Time episodes have you seen? You said you used to not like anime but then you "got used to it". Maybe AT could still be worth a try? There's a lot the show has to offer, and surprisingly they can even get really creative with the visuals from time to time despite their simplistic animation.

I've just seen brief scenes from what my flatmates watch, and it's just not something I think I would like. It might be fun to watch it with other people, because I hear it's funny, but I don't care enough. People say it's so dumb that it's funny but I just think it's dumb, I don't get anything out of it really. I don't care if other people watch it though, that's their prerogative.

If it makes any difference, it actually touches on some surprisingly deep subjects from time to time, and in a weird sort of way, it almost kind of develops a sort of overarching plot over time...

I know that probably sound ridiculous, as it should if you've only seen the first few episodes/pieces of episodes, but yeah...

That's kind of how I felt about Noragami. I was like "Aw this is really cute and funny!" and then there was the one episode ("Name" #9) which was like, a profound message of repentance, and I was like "holy shit I need to sit down and think about my entire life now."
