Figured that, but I'm not sure a bear would give up the deer or whatever just to chase her. :P I'm okay with it though, but I also highly doubt the others would just go ''oh, ok'' and continue working on the shelter.

When the bear swiped at Faen you said it was because he was making the most noise, but at the time Aurdunar was responding to something Faen had said in my last post. Doesn't that mean Audrunar was making the most noise?

Well, he was yelling and shouting, while Audrunar was calmly talking which was my reasoning. :P

I tried to leave it open for you and Sam as much as I could, but I didn't really know how wounded Faen was as Sam mentioned he got hit by the back of the bears paw. Now I don't know about bears where you live but they don't have claws at the back of the paw here so I imagine he's quite OK, but then again he did get smacked aside so that would indicate a heavy blow. I'm not sure, so I didn't quite know what to say for Faen to do.

For the next time, maybe Faen can tickle a bear instead of a fish. :P

I suppose Aud and Erika will have to find some way to deal with this guy once and for all then? This might be the most respect a simple bear's been afforded in an RP for a while :P

Well we have to deal with him but a bear is a bear, and he might get away alive. And might come back to pester us at a later, more unfortunate time, I guess ;)

If Faen was there he would point out a bears turning angle is far wider than a persons, so hypothetically you could stand on a cliff edge, allow it to charge at you, step out of the way and wave as it careens off into space. Unfortunately the Lokison is currently seeing stars, and of no use to anyone except as a paper weight.

I think that you are more like Lokison than one would imagine. I.E you are probably one of those people that thinks like he does. I didn't think of the wider arch of the bear, etc.

So is there a plan here or are we just going to let this sit around? Seems like Psychomachy might have vanished, but there's three of us still here, at least. Seems like we should either keep going, maybe try to hook in some new people, or reboot it? Make a new thread and interest check to draw in more people and try again?

I don't know, but it seems lame to just axe this already. I liked the idea.

We can do either, I'm fine with using this thread but making a new IC, or making a whole new thread or even revamping the idea a bit. I've come to realize that just giving the players a level field to play in without much supervision results in loss of interest early on, so I/we might need to come up with something to counter that.

I've also got a few new RP's that I enrolled in but seeing as I have enough time on hand (lol college) I can manage that pretty well I think.

If we go with a reboot, I think making a new thread would be necessary, and probably altering the idea just a bit as well. I liked the open-ended concept, but it did kinda feel like there was a lack of direction/stuff to do. I think the small group kinda hurt that a bit. The bear definitely injected some excitement, but once we got through that, we'd pretty much be in the same spot as before. "What do we do now?" type deal.

I'm not really sure what the best way to change it would be, but I liked Erika and I'd never really done a Norse-type setting before, so it felt like it had potential to me.

Yes, I was maybe a bit too naive considering the fact that all the open ended, do what you want, kinda RP's I've been in all died considerably fast.. however as for a plot I'd have no real idea of what to do in a norse/viking themed RP.
