Not necessarily in terms of our own past work, we've all done that.
I mean more in terms of community or skill level.
To better explain:
-Majority of RP's on the old Guild were Free Level for me. It was mainly what I could handle, addressing exactly what I intended to do and that's it.
Over time I got into more detailed RP's, may it be more demanding free, 1x1 and some Casuals.
Now, today most Casual RP's still demand so much content (Sad result of non-elitist advanced moving over) that I can't keep up with most Casual RP's well.
So, I go to Free and check an RP out...
Read the In Character a bit...
*Commence brain hurting*
The writing was so... basic, rushed, almost nothing about the characters were ever revealed. It was quite literally "Oh hi, want lunch?".
Or what should have been a life altering event is just brushed off in mere hours...
It really made me realize that free RP's just seem to have too low standards for me to handle tolerating now... despite the fact that Casual still tends to be a bit too demanding. :/
(Or just so slow that they never actually get anywhere with the plot).
But the scariest thing is... That free RP, it also felt Nostalgic. As painful as reading it was... It was nothing that made me go "What could they be thinking!?" but rather had me go "I used to do this shit... I did this same stuff... How did I ever do this stuff?".
