Niks fell on his back once more as his opponent tripped and attempted to crawl up to his chest again while pining him down. Her legs were blocked from going up further by an arm as his legs kicked around as they clawed to gain a foothold, an easy thing considering their longer length. The new position, however, meant that the meatbag was right below him and made it impossible for him to even sit up, although it also prevent his opponent from crawling up further, either from the lack of space or him pushing back with his legs. He then tried to pry her legs open. Little by little, he could feel a 'chain' wrapping on his neck. He'd better distance himself away soon so he could patch himself, or he'd risk of having to try a shoddy patchwork in his current position or die.

The skeleton's resistance was not very strong had she been at full strength, and in fact she probably wouldn't have even been bothered by it, but as it stood now every kick felt like a bulldozer was slamming into her. Her leg grip weakened considerably as he was able to shuffle away from her while she was distracted and in pain, her sweat making it even easier for him to slip out. She squirmed around, panting as the soul rot was taking effect. She was normally good at handling pain so this was a serious issue, making her feel like she was going to die. If he decided to get close to her then she could still flail around quite powerfully, but she would have trouble going on the offensive at this point.

Niks quickly made some distance from his opponent. He immediately tried to patch the 'bleeding' effect on his soulfire. It seemed that the Hex was taking its full effect now, meaning she shouldn't be able to do anything that interrupt his attempt and hopefully she would succumb to the pain and passed out soon.

It took all of her willpower to get back onto her feet and stumble around to try and catch her retreating foe. She just needed one more good blow and he'd be done for! She could do that much, right? She had made it almost all the way up to him, but the closer and closer she got made her more and more dizzy from the strain. She was pushing herself too far for one of her condition, but she couldn't stop herself. He was right there! She somehow managed to get within striking distance of him and reeled back a fist as if to punch him, but instead her left knee gave out and she tumbled forward, more then likely on top of him but her senses were fading. All she felt was something hard smack against her body as she collapsed. Her vision, hearing, smell, everything; they were all dulled so much that she was barely conscious of it at all. Even her pain. She felt nothing but weightlessness. She remained motionless for a couple of seconds, eyes staring blanking at nothing before they slowly went shut, consciousness leaving her prone form.

Niks had to step backwards, snarling all the while, in his attempt to avoid the incredibly stubborn dragonoid, although his effort and attention on patching himself made his reaction and movement incredibly slow as sudden movement would botch his effort. Her knee buckled as she prepared to punch him and she then fell against the ground. She coughed weakly as she laid on the ground before remaining still. Niks kept a wary eye on her form, waiting for her to raise up as he continued to patch his wound. He was relieved that she remained and was apparently out cold. Now, he can focus his attention to himself, afterward he would then gain his way out of this place.

Niks stretched his stolen limbs and tested their movement. Satisfied that he managed to fit in properly, Niks gave a nod to himself. He then gave an experimental flap on his newly acquired wings. Flying with them would be a new experience for him as he had never taken a winged suit before, it was fortunate for him that he'd gain the necessary muscle control for it so he didn't have to train himself to do it.

"Wings work right, I can fly now," he said before frowning. While speech quirks was one of the things he often get, this was the first time that the effect was further than accent. Something to investigate further once he returned home. With a shake of the head, Niks then took off and outwards from the dark cave, headed to the Nexus gate he came from.
