Vex got up and walked out without receiving her money. She had all the money she needed and then some, plus this would give her a head start on the others.

Waiting to see Roxy's move Adrian sat there watching the others reactions. He wasn't concerned with funding he had earned a name for himself with his blade and had plenty of money. However the chance to travel with the girl was nice if not hampered a bit by having to travel with the others. He disliked the smith had no feelings towards one who had asked of their weapons and overall didn't particularly care for the small boy.

Nero got up and trudged toward the front off the room, he saw a pink haired girl with big mechanical hand that he had not seen before walk out, "maybe she didn't and any money" Nero assumed, and waited in line to receive his money.

Caspian received his money and quickly exited the tent turning toward the road, he already knew that most people here had already ruled him out as useless or weak, but he didn't care, he didn't have to prove himself to anyone.So first thing was first they needed transportation and he needed some supplies.

After getting his card he strolled over to were Roxy and Adrian were sitting (man they were already inseparable and he was pretty sure that they had just met)Something told Nero that associating with the cooler kids in the group so to say was his best bait in winning this game.

Astrid took her place in line, waiting patiently for her allowance. It was another lucky break that she wasn't going to spend the entire competition broke, but what worried her now were the other contestants.

They all seem so sure of themselves... I don't know if I could go up against any of them.

She looked over to where some of the others were gathered, trying to size them up.

Those two are wearing weapons already? They must be out to win by any means necessary...

"No wandering off." The prophets called to Vex. "You will stay with the group. There will be no head starts. No short cuts."

Roxy was relieved and disappointed that she didnt have to finance. This quest. It was nice not to have to worry about money. Still she didnt like the idea of owning anyone. She took the card the prophets gave her. She watched some of the others leave. Weren't they suppose to travel together? "Shouldn't we figure out who wants what animal?"

In the time it took for the others to get there allowances, Caspian had bought his first car, well looked on the side of the road and find cars that were for sale, luckily he found a large blue 2005 Chevy Tahoe, he got it because it would be able to fit about 8 people and there extra supplies. He waited in front of the festival grounds for anyone who wanted to ride with him.

"I don't know what to do, maybe we should establish a leader.But I do know what animal I want, it gonna be a cat." Nero replied.

"I don't follow anyone's lead except maybe hers for the time being" Adrian said motioning towards Roxy. As for what animal I want a lion would be a suitable companion for me I do believe." His arms crossed as he waited for her response. He watched the others intently seeing what their reactions would be.

Adrian shot the child a look cold enough to make the devil shudder. "No actually I intend to capture it in the wild myself. All you have to do to tame a predator is show it who the better predator is. Given my skill set it shouldn't be to challenging, but first ill help Roxy with her animal whatever it may be."

"Sure man sure and I'm assuming your ready to go to Africa or Asia to get your little friend, or instead of going all the way their, you could go to one of the booths here I would assume they have a lion more your size" retorted Nero not even fased by his stare.

"I don't know about having a leader but I think for now we should work together as much as we can. None if us are after the same God or Goddess so there is no competition. I think we should make a list of animals and get the easy ones first. What kind if cat?" Roxy asked Nero. "We could go o an animal shelter and you could pick one how does that sound?"

"I have a feeling we are going to be doing alot of traveling. I want to my animal companion to be a black panther. So we will be heading to the jungles for mine."

Roxy nodded. "I agree that makes since. Which is why we need to know what animal interest each contestant. We are missing a few. Lets go find them. The sooner we have a list the sooner we can get started." Roxy looked for the others she had seen at the gathering. "Maybe we should all introduce ourselves and the God or Goddess we are interested in. You can call me Roxy and I will become the Goddess of Shadows."

Braen after listening to the Prophet's went up and got his card, this money would be invaluable for traveling expenses and material needs. Then listening to the others discuss working together and then sharing animals they wanted to tame Braen decided to speak up "Mine is going to be a bit tricky... Because the animal I desire, is a Griffon". He waited for responses, would they respect his choice or laugh at him for picking a most likely fantasy creature? But then again, there were in a competition where they literally thought they could become a God, to laugh at the idea of a Griffon would be odd to say the least.
