The sun hung high in the sky, emanating the light and warmth of a normal summer day. Few people walked outside, going to the store to buy some materials for dinner, or going to get it themselves, or even going to a family or friend's to do so there. This day was a day off for the schools, and so there were children running through the streets, some laughing, others playing... Others talking entirely too loud without realizing... Ryan, one of those children, was walking through the streets with a mission. He had just finished doing some light chores to get a small amount of money from his mother, and was planning on giving it away. Of course, it was a sort of game for him, where he would try not to get caught while giving it to others, but often it didn't work out, just leading to awkward situations where others would assume he was stealing, rather than giving.
Ryan didn't say a word as he walked past someone, money in hand, and simply reached into their pocket, letting go of the money and walking away. He smiled to himself out of victory as the stranger seemed to proceed none the wiser about the fact that they had just been made slightly less poor. He glanced back just in time to see an angry face of a bystander who had saw him reach into the person's pocket. He moved to run before suddenly feeling his arm being pulled back. "What did you take!?" He heard as he was turned around to see the man's face once again. "I didn't take anything... I put my money in their pocket..." He pulled out his pockets to show the man, and opened his palms in his direction to show him that he didn't have anything on him that he could have taken from the person. "Liar! Go and give back whatever you stole, then apologize... I hate thieves!" As the man spoke, Ryan frowned, looking down at his pockets. There was nothing he could give anymore, so he simply looked up at the man for a moment before nodding. He walked past the man, starting to walk after the person he had given the money to before taking off at a full sprint, escaping into a nearby alleyway and going to a separate street.
Ryan sighed as he moved to the next street over after the one he had just ran to. He stopped moving streets there, and started to head back, hoping the stranger would forget his face by the next day when he may attempt another give-away. He looked through the nearby people, walking towards his home as he did. "I hope he doesn't know mom... She might yell at me for stealing even though I didn't..." He glanced back for a moment before continuing on his way.
