I didn't really expect it to end that soon. But it was good, like a firework. Who else saw it though to the end?

Space Dandy is over then? I never really jumped on it, to me it screamed Cowboy Bebop and I wasn’t interested at the time. How many episodes and seasons was it? Might try catching it on a website sometime.

It's only two seasons. Somewhere around 26 episodes. I'm biased, but I'll tell you I enjoyed every moment.

I was half-heartedly in it. Wasn't spectacular, but it was one of the better shows currently on.

Looks like they're bringing back GITS, so that's a win, and Big O gets a go. Works for me. Dandy was okay, I won't really miss it though.

Ghost in the Shell on Toonami seemed like the most confusing "what the hell is this and what's happening" thing to me. Like, it was almost at Bleach levels of that. Tell me it's at least really good and I should just catch it on Netflix or something.

Stand-Alone Complex is, I think, one of the greatest works of fiction ever produced. 2nd Gig comes pretty close to matching the first.

It is hyper-intellectual, gritty, and super-violent, with strong characters and intricate plots..... in a word, genius. People are put-off by the high-voiced spider tanks though.

I was hyped for Dandy just like everyone else.

It didn't hook me.

Though I might go back and watch it someday.

I’ll probably try and watch it on a weekly basis then. I’ve only been really tuning in to re-watch Gurren Lagann, and I’ve also been following One Piece since it’s so close to a point that I haven’t seen yet. But yeah, I’ve never stuck with Ghost in the Shell because whenever I’d tune in it’d be somewhere in the middle of the show and I’d have no context.

There's two kinds of episodes, 'stand-alone' and 'complex' (not to be confused with the 'Stand-Alone Complex,' a condition of copies or imitations of an original which does not actually exist). The 'Stand-alone' episodes often actually have no context at all, and contribute to character- or concept-development rather than plot. If you keep up with *all* of them, you're rewarded, but they're not strictly speaking essential to anything. It's like, 'What if we had a show about cybercops, but one episode we just look at this random joe instead and see the world through his eyes, and then maybe the cops show up eventually but who cares.'

That's because GIS starts with a prequel movie that explains the protagonist of the show. Don't watch the movie, the show is pretty WTF
