Because when I realized the Doctor had already traveled with a young blonde whom he left in another universe and whose name starts with "Ro" and ends with an "ur" sound I figured I had to go for it.

Unfortunately, no. Not really. My only plans for Halloween were to watch Silence in the Library, Forest of the Dead and Midnight with my roommate - as she mentioned that she'd never seen Midnight and that we just had to watch it since it's my all-time favorite New Who episode. And then I realized that, on Netflix hard copy rentals, Midnight is on the same disk as Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead and my roommate hasn't seen those episodes, either. So we figured that worked out pretty well. And then I realized that, upon ordering it, the DVD would arrive just in time for Halloween and these three episodes happen to be somewhat on the creepier side so yeah... :3

Also I planned on going cosplay shopping the Saturday after Halloween if that counts.

Oohhhh the creepier episodes. Very nice. I approve :3 I hope your roommate likes the episodes. They are tons of fun. Even if Midnight makes you question if the thing is still out there somewhere. Ah well nothing wrong with having no plans on Halloween. I'm just going to help my parents with the kids (my cousin and my brother) trick or treat in my costume. {My job allows me to dress up ^.^}

That's one of my favorite things about Midnight. They don't explain anything about the creature at the end - what it was, where it came from, or whether or not it was killed - because they didn't need to. The story wrapped up perfectly without it. Plus, the ambiguity of it all really seals the episode together. The fear of the unknown is probably one of the biggest, most essential fears that humans universally fear. That's probably why the episode is still capable of delivering chills every time you re-watch it - you still don't understand what that thing is. And that probably makes knowing what happens next even more intense, because you still don't know why, thus playing off of that fear.

I mean, I know I get chills every time Sky's words first start to come before the Doctor's. Every time. Even though I've seen the episode so many times that I've pretty much memorized the entire thing and I know exactly when it comes, it still gets me. Honestly I feel like the anticipation just increases my enjoyment of the whole thing. It is my all-time favorite New Who episode for a reason.

Also, it seems like every time I watch it at home, my mom enters the room at some point and starts echoing the words, as well.

Ah well nothing wrong with having no plans on Halloween. I'm just going to help my parents with the kids (my cousin and my brother) trick or treat in my costume. {My job allows me to dress up ^.^}

Props to whoever wrote the episodes :3 they are so enjoyable and extremely well written. Hopefully He Who Should Quit Today had no fingerprints on any of it. Cause they are just so damn enjoyable ^.^

Hahaha gif for everything Supernatural xD very nice but EVERYONE I've talked to doesn't like him. I don't like him neither.

Well. I mean.

I don't see what the huge fuss is about.

He wrote a lot of really good episodes - like Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead and Blink.

Plus he kind of defined Eleven's era. And I like Eleven. Sure, looking back on it, the overarching storyline to season 5 didn't make a ton of sense, but I liked most of the rest of his work - and I don't understand the criticisms against Clara, either. She's certainly one of the best companions of New Who. Plus, I like season 8 so far, and I'm interested to see where this whole heaven plot goes.

Oh, and the 50th anniversary special was great, too, I think.

But, I mean, I also liked Adric, and no one likes Adric, so, I guess that invalidates my opinion completely.

Ah-hah I see. Well I don't have an opinion of Adric as I haven't seen....her? Him? I don't know what gender that name is cause it could suit either or. But I reserve judgement until I have.

But to each their own and everyone has their different opinions and different tastes.
