She loves her family and friends, though the "small-town" life was far too dull for her. So, upon recieving the letter, she jumped at the opportunity to attend the academy.

Personality
Generally very kind, but doesn't entirely understand the concept of personal space. Despite her kindness, she enjoys drama and being the center of attention--for better or worse. Has trouble understanding others and tends to be egocentric and flirty. On a good day, she's very confident and lively; on a bad, very moody and withdrawn.

She can manipulate most plant life as needed and is almost always immediately loved by animals. With her bow, she's an extremely good shot. She's paritcularly agile and flexible and is great at climbing over and about obstacles.

For warlocks, they obtain their powers by making a pact with powerful magical creatures, and sometimes even demonic entities. The magic and power of a Warlock is often not linked to the Warlock himself, but the source of his power, either a magical object or a familiar of sorts.

Weapon
Ralthavar favors his family's Great Axe called "Sunder", magically enchanted to be capable of causing harm to any touches it's blade and generally ignoring hardness all together. The latter ability is simply a quality of the metal it's made from; Adamantium. As a Barbarian, Ralthavar is also proficient with other weapons too, and often would carry as much as he feels necessary. Specifically, he favors spears, spiked shields, karambit daggers, and firearms. He prefers the shotgun.

Short Biography
Ralthavar came to the Academy with not only a lot on his shoulder, but with a horde of at least a hundred other orcs he is expected to be the leader of. However despite how heavily armed his horde is, Ralthavar did not arrive to take over the school; he comes with hope that he can lead his people to glory through the Academy, taking in what knowledge they came from here to enrich their homes back at Lucis. Their general war-like mentality and lifestyle is simply their culture, though Ralthavar is well aware that not everyone shares his people's appreciation or interest, so he does his best to control the orcs and make sure they don't get themselves into trouble.

Personality
Rathavar may look the part of the intimating witch doctor, and he himself embraces this imagery, if you can get past the bigotry you'd find that Ralthavar is a well-spoken individual who simply embraces his heritage, but at the same time struggles to try to find a place for his kind in this new world, one that isn't antagonistic. To that end Ralthavar himself is a rather tolerant person who would try to bring together as many people as he can, regardless of race or attitudes. Not to say that he isn't without his anger, but he controls his rage rather than let it speak for itself.

When it comes to combat, Ralthavar is fairly well rounded. He has embraced both orc's ferocity and brutal efficiency in melee combat, but also took the time to cover his bases with magical training as well as gun fighting. While not perfect in the sense that he is unstoppable, he does well to ensure that he doesn't have any weaknesses to exploit. He more familiar with melee combat than he does with magic or guns, but you'd be a fool if you think he can't use all three. That being said, it's outside the battle that Ralthavar is weakest; he must take responsibility for his horde of orcs, most of whom who listen to him, but they themselves are lead by their passions and emotions. And Ralthavar cannot simply stand idly by if they cause trouble, forcing him to come into conflict with anyone who has problems with his orcs.

Strange Attributes/Abilities/Traits
Ralthavar had the good fortunate to have the opportunity to be trained by various masters of various skills, as well as his own innate talent that woudl allow him to increase the rate in which he learns. Ralthavar himself is said to be a quick study and good at imitating others, though he still requires education to truly understand the full extent of what he does. His specif abilities are the following:

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Raised in the ways of the Barbarian, Ralthavar is skilled in the use of their weapons and armor. While he favors certain weapons over others, he can competently use all of them.

Marksman: Firearms have been introduced to his lands, and he did not hesitate to take up lessons in using them. He finds pistols to be underwhelming for their cost, and prefers shotguns for their versatility as well as power. He has various shotgun shells for different scenarios, from buckshot to dragon's breath, to slugs and flechette.

Craft Skills: Ralthavar knows how to create just as well as he knows how to destroy. Specifically, Rathavar is a knowledgeable Armour and Weapon Smith, capable of working metal, stone, wood, or bone into a variety of deadly tools. He also has a natch for enchanting, giving his weapons magical qualities with the right rituals, incantations, and supplies.

Warlock Spells: As mentioned, the power of a Warlock does not lie in the Warlock himself but from an outside source. The spells and strength can vary, though commonly he gets his powers from his staff, which itself can gain powers from the skulls attached to it; the skulls formerly belonged to other mage types, and through his staff he can use their skulls to channel their magic into him. There Current Skulls are that of a Necromancer, Enchanter, and a Priest.

Resilience: And if all else fails, Ralthavar is a very hardy fellow. He weathers the storm and can keep inner peace with himself even during his most violent rages. His determination and refusal for a simple defeat has won him many victories, and if that is not possible, at least he'll have a glorious end.

X-1 Railgun
The Pinnacle of handheld kinetic weaponry, the X-1 is a devastating beast. It fires a sabot round that is magnetically charged, clocking at around 3600 m/s. To put that in perspective, the 120 mm sabot round, which was used to penetrate heavy armor, has a velocity of about 1700 m/s. Despite hitting harder than a bloody tank, it does have it’s drawbacks. For the round to be sent flying at 3600 m/s, it takes about 2-3 seconds to charge the magnetic coils. One can plainly tell when this is occurring, as there is a loud hum and a bright blue flash. It also follows a straight line of fire, making easy for the receiving party to simply dodge or move into cover before the round is actually fired. It can also only hold one round in the chamber due to safety issues, and the sabot round burns up at a certain distance, also due to safety concerns of the round going farther than needed. A bipod was never designed to offset the massive recoil, so one must manually keep the railgun steady.

X-1C Pistol
Simply a very scaled down X-1, it uses the same principles but is scaled down for use in CQC and mid range engagements. It isn’t as strong as the X-1 itself, but boasts a round that rivals the stopping power of many of the modern rifles. Limited in the fact that it can only carry ten rounds.

Tanto Knife
Stealthy, silent, reusable, the tanto is generally not used unless it is a situation where the target cannot be taken out with the X-1, sometimes used in conjunction with the X-1C.

Short Biography:
Joseph was born in what was the ruins of the west coast of the USA, devastated by the resource war that had spanned across the globe. Despite the fact that the government had finally stopped manufacturing focus on military goods, most of the west coast remained as desolate and broken as it was during the war. Joseph was found by some medical volunteers at the age of eight, seemingly alone. A bit unapproachable at first, but he grew as talkative as any young boy would be. Joseph had brief military training before he joined the academy.

Loves to be very sarcastic. Somewhat of a cynic, as he loves to point out anything and everything that is wrong or depressing.

As an alchemist, many of Sanna's 'weapons' are disposable – of limited use. She may carry a rucksack containing a wide array of "explosive balls" (as Sanna likes to call them...), but they all have one thing in common: They all go boom. The bombs are tuned to be precise due to the possibility of damaging an ally during combat: The bombs vary from straight, conical, to radial line of fire – And the window frame between trigger and explosion is adjustable. The bombs are also variable in nature, from concussive to fiery, to disabling without real harm. Magic is needed to produce the precise and unique nature of these bombs, giving the explosives a magical aspect to them.

While errors and mistakes happen, an experiment gone horribly, horrendously wrong is the worst thing that could possibly happen to Sanna. Sanna has a one-track mind when in comes to alchemy and the sciences. Bombs are terrible for close-range combat. She has utilities that distract an attacker for her to add distance or flee, but ineffective in the long-term.

She retains information with ease, having spent many of her years reading manuals, recipes and instructions. Her intelligence seems to be only applied to the more technical and scientific fields, though. Her focus in other subjects are severely lacking.

Summoner - A class applicable for most races. They are the ones who pact with spirits for their help. All summoners carry a book that contains the summoning spells that will automatically be engraved in once the pact is completed. The spirits a summoner can make a pact with are mostly, if not all, elemental spirits. Making a pact may or may not be easy as it depends on the spirit's condition. Some spirits would agree upon asking for help, some would require some requirements while others would settle it down with a fight if the summoner is worthy enough for their aid.

Aria's biggest pet peeve are insects. She hates creepy crawlies. She finds them disgusting, horrifying and terrible. If she were to battle a creature that is insect-like. She would rather kill herself than be near to that creature. Even if an insect spirit that's powerful would want to make a pact with her for free, she would immediately turn down the offer and probably run away crying.

Battle-wise, Aria isn't weak against any kind of class or race because she doesn't directly fight with them. Her biggest weak point is her book. If she doesn't have it, she's practically useless and defenseless. It is ambiguous to anybody whether she can summon without her book.

Strange Attributes/Abilities/Traits
Like most summoners, Aria can talk to spirits. But unlike anybody else, Aria can understand directly what the spirits say unlike normal summoners who only rely on gestures made by the spirits. This could possibly make things easier for Aria.

Although Aria has been training for several years now, she still hasn't made a pact with any spirit as they are dangerous and Aria may not be able to handle it. As of now, Aria comfortably uses Sylph most of the time. She also is very good friends with Sylph and usually summons Sylph so she could talk with her. She uses Luna and Undine from time to time but never uses Ifirt because there seems to be a problem with Ifrit, which, as of now, is unknown.

A complete and utter ordinary human, down to the very core.

Class:
Commando - Taking his expertise with firearms into account, and his moderate anatomical capabilities, Varren found himself most effective by fashioning such a class. Going by the book, a commando is an individual who shows cunning advancement in the field of ballistic weaponry, showing a knack for the practice at an early age, and excelling past those who would be considered veterans in the span of a few years. A literal sense of being the bullet. Fully intertwining themselves with their instruments, and wielding such contempt to unsurmountable extents on the battlefield. Though only a few individuals full under such a title, Varren being one of them, they thrive in the midst of combat, but falter in social interactions. Though most commandos tend to make themselves the focus of their enemies, Varren fancies hit-and-run attacks and tactics which involve stealth.

Short Biography:
Born to the Yinyues family, a Japanese house which inherited the American manufacturing company known as Magpul. How the Yinyues managed to acquire the rights to Magpul, and all of the products under its copyright, is a story for another time. Since the present of a firearm was always present within the Yinyues’ house, Varren was bound to pick up on his family’s hobby. If anything, the idea of teaching a toddler how to utilize a firearm wasn’t even frowned upon. His parents believed it was a plausible idea, to enlighten the boy with prior knowledge of what he would inherit. It wasn’t long until they discovered he had a natural knack for the usage of weapons, soon fashioning and making his own adjustments to existing platforms. But such a practice became more than a pastime. It began to suck up a majority of the hours he was awake; and if he wasn’t engineering or practicing, he was most likely studying to secure his inheritance. This left no time open for social interaction, which lead up to his entitlement of the class Commando.

Personality:
Varren is a fountain of self-expression, constantly flowing with emotion and passion. Considered to be an open book of his inner feelings, he conveys himself to those around him with any regrets or remorse. Though, stating his own opinions isn’t a problem; its making connections with the receivers of said opinions is his predicament. Unable to find the words to properly come across people as his true self, people are left to perceive him at their own digression. (WIP?_

  • Anatomical Defficiency: Not as strong as most would presume, Varren is generally a twig of a human being, who can somehow muster the strength to wield weapons of mediate caliber. Though anything chambered in battle or sniper rifles is a no-go, and can easily throw out his frail shoulder.

  • Hot Chocolate: Can’t stomach the stuff. Found out he had such a weak spot for the beverage when his mother attempted to substitute it for his addiction with coffee. The results were not pleasing, to himself nor the toilet he clutched for the majority of the night.

  • Social Rejection:
  • In the few attempts he makes to be social, he constantly fears being rejected by those he tries to make bonds with. With trepidation looming over his head, he ends up deciding against ever striking a conversation.

    Strange Attributes/Abilities/Traits:
  • Persona Fluctuations: Medically diagnosed ’dissociative identity disorder’, Varren can completely change his personality at random intervals. Such occurrences are uncontrollable, and when documented, never show any relations or possible signs of a trigger. Though, the only persona which comes out of the fluctuation is completely different from the ordinary Varren. It is basically a polar opposite of the kind mannered boy, retaining an emotionless composure, leaving no openings for second thought or remorse. The counterpart is only in control for the span of a few moments, and once the proper Varren regains his senses, he has no recollection of the past events.

    Mechromancer - A class that seems to have an almost magical affinity for technology, specifically with robots and mechs. While it's debatable if a Mechromancer is actually magical, their ability and knowledge with machines are certainly super powerful.

    Weapon
    Biggy - Once just a robot toy, now brought to giant life! A ten foot tall mech that acts as robotic butler for Mary, but is more than capable of serving as a bodyguard with powerful arms and and a plethora of weapons. Mary can ride inside of Biggy to activate his weapons mode (Without her there all he can do is punch things) and make use of his various sensors and other gadgets. Mary is always looking to upgrade Biggy and also maintains her own robots, though Biggy is the most advance and combat capable of her machines.

    Mary comes from a very rich family conglomerate known as Machina Industries, who are one of the leading producers of anything technological. They have donated much money and resources to the Academy of Arcane Arts to improve relations with Lucis and hope to gain access to their magical powers and knowledge. Mary is one of the first of the Machina family to attempt the Academy and hopes to make many friends who would help her take up the family business.

    Personality
    A nice kid all things considered. Might come off as incentive since she's very sheltered and outright spoiled, but she just wants to be able to help others. She doesn't like the idea that just because she's a kid, or doesn't suffer from horrible things, that she shouldn't be able to help others. She believes that because her family is so rich, they should be able to help others however they can, or at least want to. Like Batman.

    Mary fears being powerless. She once saw a servant from her family get fired for one of her mistakes, and she could do nothing to save him. It scarred her, and now she stops at nothing to be able to do something for whatever problem comes her way. If she see's something wrong, regardless of if she even knows what it's about, she's going try to stop it or save whoever is getting hurt. As for Weaknesses, Mary is a very idealistic kid and thinks that everyone has some sort of honor that they live by. Even the most roguish of characters would never stoop to real evil if they have a choice, or even if they don't. Her naivety protects her innocence, but makes her vulnerable to truly horrible people. As for limits, outside her robots, she's just a little girl. Not even a particularly strong one. Energetic and good at running, but she's not athlete and relies heavily on her robots for any form of damage dealing or protection. She's not even good with any particular weapon.

    Tech Savant - Mary has a supernatural sense when it comes to operating machines. As long as she can get a general idea of what does what, she can quickly become competent and operating various machines and vehicles with very little practice or training beforehand. She can also take apart or recreate various bits of machinery or robotics from whatever she can cobble together, often to surprising effect. Even with crude materials like stone and wood, she can make machines out of it. She just needs a lot of time and a lot of material.

    Mary is always loaded with tech and gadgets for media and other entertainment purposes. Has a cat named Sushi. Likes sneaking around, but isn't particularly amazing at it since Biggy tends to be near by.
