Ya know, when the archer said, "He's gonna die too," I assumed he was talking about the prince of Berinike. I love irony; it would tickle me if that's what he meant even though Kiara thought he was talking about Ostus :)

Alrighty... I want to be clear about Kiara's shoulder issue before I respond:

The excessive bleeding and numbness in her arm is due to a severed artery? Or no? Or is the numbness due to a broken shoulder and she's simply bleeding a lot?

I don't want to think the worst and have Ostus do the extreme when it wasn't really that bad to begin with, hehe

Unless you're leaving that up to me to interpret and decide upon...

I was thinking more nerve damage as to why she can't feel anything at the moment, and the bleeding is up to you on that one. It could just be bleeding a lot because its deep or because something important got cut.

Gonna head to bed. Poor Ostus, he's not sure what's wrong with her, and only knows vaguely how to treat her. I'm kinda in the same boat, lol! My ex has had dislocated shoulders before, but I'm assuming from her open wound that this is not a dislocated shoulder (how would a stabbing dislocate a shoulder anyway? Unless the pressure was that enormous, then ouch) and is something far more permanent... poor Kiara :( Or it could not be and she'll be fine after a while. Who knows! We shall find out in time, hehe... Makes for good drama, though!

Hopefully my fast few posts haven't been too lame for ya for this reason :p

Yeah I'm actually already in bed so no worries! I'm not sure if it'll be permanent yet, but definitely will take awhile to heal if its not. I figure it'll make for good story once she gets to the city :p

Also no way! Your posts haven't been lame at all. I always look at them and feel like I know more about your character which is just awesome.

So I'm thinking of doing a skip again soon, to the day before they arrive in the city. What do you think? Too far?

I'll probably do it after your next post so I can give an update on her injuries and how she's dealing with Ostus.

Sounds good to me :) Moving the story a long, yay. I'm the type of person that if I don't watch it, there'll be well over a few dozen posts dedicated to the same scene, lol... Or the same day, at least. So it's good that you're keeping the pace going :)

Yeah. I'm the same way, but I try to get things going so things don't just drag out forever, you know? Plus, I want to get to the city so you can bring in your second character and super dwarf my posts xD

There are many different scenarios we could plot out as well, once we're in Berinike.

Exactly! A lot more things can happen there then in the middle of nowhere with only two character. I am enjoying Ostus's and Kiara's character development though. :p

Though she's having a rough time right now and probably seems a bit weaker than her personality usually is. That'll change when they reach the city.
