As for "what he meant by that" -- he thinks he's screwed either way because he's in over his head with Kiara, so however Kiara decides to end the night would make no difference in what his situation will be like in the morning.

Which leads us to his sudden character change. He's in a pissy mood (especially if he didn't get any the night before, haha!), so he's being an asshole, just as he was in the very beginning, haha. I probably could have smoothed that over a bit better. This is what I get for writing out part of a post before you've even responded to yours :p

I'll blame it on being tired. There we go. Hopefully Lamont will ground me better. I'm not usually so... all over the place.

It's cool though. Kiara is gonna have a personality swap too considering she's no longer alone with Ostus in the woods where no one can see them.

Sounds good to me. I usually let people know, but sometimes it sneaks up on me. Although I'll probably get on a day or two in and say something. Though it rarely happens because I'm not motivated and therefore hate doing anything having to do with school :D

College is for the motivated. Why am I here again T_T? Oh yeah. Cause I already put three years in :<

I hear ya. I dropped out of college years ago, like an idiot, and am now trying to finish up. Ugh. Soon, though. Sooooon.

Honestly, I just want to go on with the shop I have. But my mother would kill me if I dropped out. She's the only reason I'm in college. She left when she got pregnant with me sooooo she's always been like "YOU ARE SO SMART IF YOU DON'T GO TO COLLEGE AND GET A GOOD PAYING JOB I'LL KILL YOU" But whatever. I love the crazy lady.

Anywho, about Kiara's mom. I'm not sure what you had in store for her but I had her eye color planned out from the beginning because surprises are fun. I haven't really worked in where I want them to come from yet though.

Oh, and just for further reference. Her mom's name is Joseline. In case the King knows her. And her dad's name is Elric. He has blonde hair and blue eyes. Typical Astoran e.e

I always intended to go to college and finish right after high school, but I was a moron that fell in love with a dude from another country, eloped, dropped out, and moved to said country (Canada) in hopes of resuming college up there. That never happened, lol.

Ten years later and I'm divorced and back in the States. Go figure. Ah, such is life.

I had no plans for Kiara's parents -- I just tossed that little bit in there to make things interesting. So far, there's nothing planned to back that statement up, but that can be developed later. I like planting little plot seeds here and there, hehe.

Sidia is just Obsidian without the first two letters, lol. I wanted the last name after some sort of rock or stone or what-not.

I feel you. I'm currently in the state I am because I fell in love with a military dude and moved in with him. He left me. So that's fun. Now I'm stuck half way across the country from friends and family. It's cool though. Met some nice people. So yeah. I feel you to an extent, only I transferred instead of dropped out. Thank god for that.

I enjoy putting in plot seeds too. That's why I said she had brown eyes :p Obviously her mother was not the one born into the royal family.

All sorts of things gave it away -- the way Ostus addressed Kiara, Kiara's reaction, and Ostus's reaction (though I forgot to mention that part).

And yes, guys can be very dense sometimes, lol

Ah, distractions... had to finish up a TV show with the boyfriend. A glorious evening of no homework. Too bad that can't last :p
