I have a character from another site who can be invisible in shadows and the dark and is rather death obsessed... but I have another one who has fire power and recently came back from the dead-
I SOUND LIKE A SCARY PERSON WHAT IS THIS!?
Anyways... your thoughts on which one?

Either would be welcome at the academy. Would the darker of the two happen to be a necromancer?

For sake of variation, id say the darker, deth obsessed character. We have one person who has fire magic (Romeo Golden) and nobody using dark magic accept my npc character Headmistress Chin. Also, if you want a roomate, id be glad to make another character to bunk with you (at least until we get another person who wants to join)

witchcraft, sorcery, or black magic in general.

A necromancer is anybody who practices necromancy.

Basically, magic revolving around tge dead. Necromancer's in general are very intelligent, powerfull people.
