Also concerning the westward expansion, it isn't under very civil control but rather under the supervision of The Bull, a criminal lord. As a criminal lord, he can easily cause massive issues without fear of true retalliatiom, because a criminal orginization has no true borders. For example, say he pillages one of your villages for a little something, wouldn't make sense to counter attack and say seige Mallkim, a seperate entity (not saying you couldn't however). This could get interesting.

On second thought, it might be fun to have your criminal lord "THE BULL" raid border towns and villages in my country (Manas). That might create some interesting tension and drama. Maybe I can let him kidnap one of my viewpoint characters and have him ("the Bull") torture my viewpoint character or even have start a romantic relationship with my viewpoint character... similar to a slave and a master.

Edit: Now I see what you're getting at. If your criminal lord (the bull) pillages one of my western villages, then yes, the could definitely lead to outright war between my country and yours. It's up to you if you want "The Bull" to pillage one of my villages and cause a war to start.

Right now, I'm looking for interesting dramatic things/events to occur in my country that will upset the status quo!

Well I just kind of assumed you had bandits moving from Marmon on occasion to go out and pillage neighbouring regions. I haven't mentioned it yet IC, but it's why the military title of Warden of the East still exists while there hasn't been a Warden of the West for centuries.

And hey Luna, you don't get to speak for all elven nations. :P Just because something's dishonourable for your silly elves doesn't mean the Hanarth elves think so too. Your people are still Suthrons and Zaoth to the Hanarth, even if you have pointy ears. :D

I don't think so. As far as I know he's funding attacks on the unclaimed territory to the West. I should hope that Marmon's King would know better than to suggest to the Bull that he do that. I think it was originally the King's idea after all.

It would be a lot more interesting if the Bull was attacking eastern Hanarth. We'd get a lot of great story plots. Plus, it'd give your nation something extra interesting to do.

Is Marmon going to war with someone? I thought Marmon was expanding west to gather new territory. That's why I put a lot of buffer between me (the nation of Manas) and the Kingdom of Marmon, so that way Marmon could expand to the west without going into conflict with me (Manas).

Maybe I can get the GMs to approve me having two nations. A north Manas and a south Manas. The north manas can be exactly where it is right now -- east of Fristreek and south of Hanartha, but the south Manas can be directly east of Adjutor Insula... on the big antarctica continent.

Also yes Jeffsoff is smart enough not to attack another country when his cities can be walked right in to. And soveriegn I find it reasonable that bandits may now and again venture from Marmon, I mean it makes sense for criminals. However The Bull isnt a common crook and for now I'll probably just invade unclaimed lands, because a outright attack makes little sense to anyone. Maybe later though when the number of thugs and beserkers The Bull controls is more defined. It should be a nice number, one that was big enough to keep the fourth Legion out of the north for so long.

Speaking of murder, I have yet to introduce Sister Death.

Edit: My next post will clear up the expansion, because it will be the start of the expansio.
