It is said that the creature who tore the Pit from the Spine of Iron was a mighty serpent, miles long with teeth borne of foul solidified void - an embodiment of the emptiness beyond worlds, the incarnation of evil. There are some still who say that Sunder, He Who Gnaws at the World, is not Dhalvori, but even more primal still; a natural opposition of the original twelve who created the worlds of Dhalari. If this were to be true, then the beast who swims through the deep blankness would be more dangerous that it would be safe to imagine.

So, guys. I have been made aware of some concerns about the nature of antagonists here. While they are an interesting addition, a lot of people are waiting on theirs, feeling tied up without interaction from them. As there are so many it's a huge task for me to keep up with you guys, so there obviously needs to be a change of some sort.

This is where I could use some input from everybody, as there are a few options:

1- Divert control to Co-GMs.

2- Divert control to new players.

3- Allow every player to take control of another's rival. This would require individual briefings about your select rival to make sure the idea behind them is preserved.

Honestly I think it would be best if the rivals were left in the dark so the protagonists have no idea what they're doing and then at random points you can have posts written for them based on whats going on in the roleplay.

At the moment, that is the state for the majority of Rivals. Only a small minority are taking an active role from the outset. In your opinion, should current Rivals in posting have their activities resolved and then left until they need to pop up again?

Well you could save them for another time. Instead of doing all rivals at once from the outset, just plan a few for the beginning, and once those arcs are resolved, you can move on to others.

This is the plan. I'm going to have the majority of Rivals dormant at any one time, with only a few active at once. If something needs to happen, i'll hit up respective rivals and make something happen.
Other than that, everybody continue as normal, ignore rivals for now if they haven't done anything thus far. They'll get back to ya ;)

Also, thanks for the offer, Milieu, but everything is under control for now. I'll let you know if there's anything I need a hand with.

Hey I seem to have run into an issue. I've been putting a lot of work into a roleplay I'm about to start GMing and It seems like I can't balance that one and this so I'm going to have to be 'that guy' and resign from this game.
