[IC] Death Note

While in her room, Asuka was watching the news on her computer that she built by herself. Nothing that really interest her, except when they show her the recent criminals. There was a secret she had that no one except a shinigami knew, and that she was Kira, or the "Second coming of Kira" is what the news is calling it. Every night after obtaining the death note, and learning it's abilities, she began killing criminals, writing one letter with each criminal she killed. Those letters came up as, "I H A V E R E T U R N E D" and were all written in their blood.
"Seems you getting use to my little book." Said Baba Yaga going through the wall. "But what a shame.. I'd rather be killing children than criminals. You never know, they could be criminals when they become older." Baba had a huge grin as her eyes turned red. Asuka looked up to her with a emotionless look. "Even the original Kira would have done that." She said staring at the death note. "I worshipped Kira ever since he killed the man who killed my father." She started to grin while writing down a few names. "I started researching him after that, seeing that he killed more than just him. I saw that he wanted a world without evil; even killing a few police but I dont mind that. I would have too if they tried to stop me." She stopped grinning and closed the death note. "I may not be as smart as him, or cunning, but I do know how to manipulate morons and a good liar." She placed her death note under the carpet where she cut slightly, then proceeded on to bed.

Get bullied by other orphaned kids.
Get on bus.
Get bullied on the bus.
Go to class.
Get picked on during class.
Avoid bullies during lunch.
Go back to classes.
Get picked on again during classes.
Get on bus.
Get bullied on the ride back to the orphanage.
Get beat up by the orphaned children.
Go to sleep.

That was Kyandi's 'schedule'. One that happened everyday. One that made Kyandi very familiar with one feeling. Pain. But on your average day, nice and sunny. Kyandi was following her busy schedule of getting her ass handed to her by bullies when one of them threw her bag out a window. Her beloved Pockey brand bag that Kyandi had saved up for. Out the window. They beat her up but no one, no one touched her bag. Now you may be expecting that Kyandi would fight back. That she would fight to get her bag back. To get the bag that the bullies had thrown out the second floor window. But that didn't exactly happen. Kyandi teared up at the momentary loss of her favorite bag and the 'wonderful' ((#ObviousSarcasmIsObvious)) bullies that attended Kyandi's school reunited her with her bag. By pushing her out of the window as well. Kyandi then found that under her bag was a notebook that had Death Note written on it. As Kyandi got up she grabbed the book and headed to the nurse's office. That day Kyandi not only got her Death Note but she also broke her right wrist. Now you may be thing, oh no, our heroin won't be able to use the journal, but Kyandi was actually ambidextrous so none of that really mattered. After reading the instructions Kyandi performed her first murder. One disguised as an accident. The murder of one of the orphaned kids that bullied her.

Three weeks later Kyandi sits in her room, reading, a stick of Pocky in her mouth. Her wrist still broken, Kyandi was multitasking, watching the news as she read her book. Kyandi wasn't as obvious as the Kira on the news. She simply murdered every bully that had bullied her. 'Accident' after 'accident' they fell, dead. Not a word on the news. Not a word spoken about it. They had all happen gradually and they were all gradual. Suicide. Accidental poisoning. Traffic accident. Disease. No murder. Only diseases. Nothing too crazily suspicious. Nothing too crazy.

It was the next day for Asuka, 6 am to be exact. She awoke from the sound of Baba screaming. "GAHH?!?! WHY WONT YOUR DAMN ALARM CLOCK SHUT OFF!?" She screamed. She rose from her bed, and started to stretch saying, "Good morning to you Baba.." She said, shutting off her alarm clock. Her hair was all over her face. She tried to move it out of her face, but it just went back there. She got out of her bed, and started to undress to her school clothes. "Don't you have that project do today?" Baba said floating around the room. Asuka stopped for a moment, then realized that she was right. She never even started it either. "I'll finish it before it's due today. Right now," She said as she tore a couple of papers out of the death note and placing it into her handmade notepad, and placing it into her bookbag. She opened the door and quietly said, "I have to wake up Juno."

She knocked on her brothers door to wake him up, "Juno, it is time for school... Juno come on wake up." Asuka open of his door to see half his body hanging off his bed, his face planted on the floor while his boxers and legs were on the bed. Asuka saw this and immediately went to the bathroom to get a cup of water. Without hesitation, she poured it all over him, waking him up. "Wah?! Asuka what was that fo-" "I said get up." She said quickly before leaving and shutting his door. She sighed hopelessly. "How can I be related to that." She sighed.

Waiting for her brother, Asuka was outside at 8. Baba was right next to her, having her wrapped wings slowly float. "Baba." Asuka said, looking like she was on her phone. "Yeah yeah I know... Don't fly close to you if any police or other death note carriers have their shinigami's." She said, flying away. A couple minutes after that, Juno walked out yawning, with his hair all messy. "Hey Asuka, there's this cute girl that walks in the park to get to a school, can we go that way today?" He said sheepishly with a grin. Asuka shrugged and started to walk in the direction to the park.

For Yanto the past week had been a fairly hectic one, first getting called off a drug bust to head down to HQ then a meeting with the chief and getting shown the news broadcast regarding the return of Kira and then his...Promotion, if it could be called that. Head of a new investigation task force to investigate Kira, he'd been given access to all the records from the previous incident and honestly things didn't look good. This appeared to be the work of a copy cat killer and while there was certainly plenty of evidence and knowledge to go on, the previous task force had not one but three geniuses working with them. The worst part was that Yanto knew there were people much more qualified to be doing this but the higher ups had put him in charge because of one reason, not his intelligence, not his numerous high profile arrests but because he was expendable, it didn't matter if he failed and died and because of that he was likely going to be cut off from the rest of the police force unless absolutely needed.

As he sat looking over the 3 members he had on his task force so far, each one feverishly scrawling through lists of Light Yagami's known associates and potential methods of luring the killer out. On the plus side this killer was obviously not intent on being covert, they were also inexperienced and made several mistakes that allowed L to work out Light's location. Killing criminals only shown on national television, targeting those who committed crimes that Kira deemed evil, they were most definitely one of his worshipers. So far the only real option Yanto's team had was to sit and wait for something to happen, he at least wanted to wait until his request to access Light's old death note was approved or denied, then he would make his first move.

"Hey Asuka." Juno said taking his headphones out as they walked to the park. "What?" She questioned. Baba Was floating close by near a different human. Her head turned upside down, wondering what her brother had to ask. "You think the new Kira will be brought down to justice?" He asked. Asuka plucked his forehead. "Moron, how can someone be brought to justice if the only thing they know is that they are killing people. Think about it moron." Juno rubbed his head. "Why do you have to be so cold?" She rolled her eyes.

"She's just cold because she's a cold blooded killer.." Baba said, sitting on a tree near them, Asuka glared at her before looking at her brother. "Are you going to play baseball with us today?" She asked. He shook his head and grin widely. "I got a date today, but anyway... there's this cute girl that walks around here. I wanna talk to her." "Why would she possibly have anything to involve with you?" She asked. He grabbed a necklace from his pocket, and said, "Because im going to lie and say she dropped this, hoping she will accept it." "And she says its not hers?" "Then Ill give it to her."

It was still early before going to school, so they had time to just walk around the park, meaning a good time to start killing criminals or "Doodling" Into her sketch-pad she made with the paper of the death note. Going to the tree where no one is really around, and started writing names, and dates to when they died. She even looked up criminals from around the world, so they would think she wasnt from around here. She was also smart enough to where if they did try to do the same thing with Light, where they had a fake "L" Of some sorts, she would write his name and kill him within the next week or so. Baba was still pretty far away from her, which was to an understanding.
