standing for what seemed like hours at the wolf's Response Huskar Finally Spoke. "I came here for a fight?" He said Slightly Clueless to the sudden angry due to him ignoring the two. He Padded towards them The sword's didn't really bother him He had seen worse much worse Hissastsu. He Decided to go against Kaji's previous advice. "look Im here for a drink and if you want to fight i dare you to try" Huskar said as he went to take a drink much to Kaji's look of Shock that he had been So Riled up by the two. Huskar smirked As he started to take a drink the two would have their work cut out if they attacked.

Kaji saw Huskar's Display. He was always so ignorant. She sighed as she quiet mouthed "sorry" to the two animals before running over to Huskar "you really are stupid sometimes an't you Huskar" She said under her breath as she took a drink. much to Huskar Smiling.

"Thank goodness. They're not here to fight." Hikaru looked at Leon, breathing a sigh of relief. Leon looked at both of the animals, hatred blazing in his green eyes. Hikaru looked at Kaji, asking her about their motives. "I don't suppose you're here to cause trouble?"

Marcus watched her from the other side of the cave, they weren't very separated now that he thought about it, a soft sigh only escaping him as he went back to tending to his wound. A sharp yelp then a short growl sounding from him after,he shook his head and looked at her with alight annoyance. "Fine..." He said stubbornly I'm agreement, then he began to think about what had happened to him, shuddering a bit. "I was attacked..." He commented, not wanting to go any further into it.

Her glare was fixed on him as he growled at her in response to her warning, but it seemed he would listen to her.
She watched as he seemed to think about what to say, before saying he was attacked. A slight huff escaped her and she shook her head. 'I figured that much. Who attacked you?'
She saw the look in his eyes and sighed slightly. 'I can see you don't want to talk about it, but you have to say.' she said.
'If I am still here when whoever attacked you shows up, I want to know what I'm up against.'

Mayura responded to Midori, "You're welcome. I'm always glad to lend a helping hand." He figured that when more people start helping each other, the world will start to become a better place, and more peaceful. "An ancient master of Hissatsu, Paramatma, taught me everything I know. I trained with him for 12 years. Then, a few weeks ago, a neighboring warlord attacked the forest we were in. We fought waves and waves of enemies until there was just a few select and the warlord himself. My master told me to flee so that I may increase my knowledge and skill. I watched as he gave himself over to the otherside," Mayura said while bowing his head in respects to his master, "I made my way over the mountains to learn about life beyond the land I was raised in." He knew the world was in need of peace.

"Well, anyways, what do you guys eat? I'm looking for some food right now."

Midori smiled to her friend, Sora. She felt that she could most definitely trust this new species of bird. She was very helpful and friendly. Sora nodded to Midori with approval as though they could communicate telepathically. Midori returned her gaze back to Mayura as she explained her history. "It seems like you have been through a lot and I think you may be in need of some companions!" Midori skipped over to Mayura and looked up at her. "How about you join Sora and I? I mean, we aren't going anywhere specific but it doesn't seem like you are either!" Midori seemed very enthusiastic about the idea she had brilliantly made up, looking to Sora for approval, who was only giving them half a gaze throughout the story.

"I suppose we could use a bigger team. Midori and I are strong but we may not be strong enough to fight the entire grove we came from." Sora nodded to Midori before turning to Mayura and nodding his black beak. "It's up to you from here. If you want to come along with us, we could use you." Sora preened his black feathers with his beak as he went back to letting Midori hold up their end of the conversation. "What do we eat? Uh... Small animals and whatever we can find at the moment. What does your kind eat?" Midori asked curiously.

A small grin crossed his face when he heard her huff, as if to say she already knew that, turning to face her as she asked her next question. Actually just lazily turning on his side, one of his ears turned out on the side of his head making him look rather ridiculous for his size. He sighed somewhat, rather reluctant to tell, his mind flashed as his mind was brought back to the time he was fighting. This, beast, the horns of a goat, the claws on a lion, worst of all though, a face that resembled a wolf. The dark thing desecrated his home only with its mere presence, making the darkness it embodied engulf the mountains. He flashed forward to his skirmish with the thing, Marcus lunged without hesitation, showing he had no fear of this creature, despite it being larger than him, he was just as strong. They both went tumbling down the hillside, clawing and biting at one another with intent to maim and kill. Marcus was thrown against a jagged rock face, the blunt force hurting him enough to make him stumble as he stood, leaving the shadow creature enough of an opportunity to tear the wolf's side into bloody ribbons, the crimson red liquid flowing out like water would down a stream. The wound looked like it was oozing darkness as well, the shadowy vapors poured out with the blood, he was getting cornered, desperately trying to attack his approaching enemy only to be slammed against the rock face until it shattered against his massive body. After that all he could remember was hiding from the thing, he felt so ashamed to be reduced to such a thing after all that time. He felt like a coward, he refused to die at the hands of this creature, with every ounce of strength he had left he ran and found, her...

"A monster..." He stated in blank tone, his deep voice making his words sounding much more ominous than needed.

Midori seemed very cheerful at the idea of them being a team; Sora seemed content for the first time since their meeting. "That would be wonderful," Mayura proclaimed, "You are right though, I am just wandering, seeking out knowledge and truth. I wish to bring peace to the world and have evil rid of." He was glad that Sora was fine with having him on board. Mayura felt this was the start of a great friendship. "Ok that's good, our diets are pretty similar. I eat anything from fruits and grains to small reptiles and mammals," he replied. Just then he spotted a fairly large pond a few miles away. There looked to be some sort of commotion on the other side. "Guys! I think I found something near a pond that's a couple miles away. We still have a decent amount of daylight on our side. Lets check it out and then build a shelter," he exclaimed. Mayura started to lead the way towards the pond, looking back to make sure his two companions were following.

Mina waited for the wolf to speak again, only to sigh at the simplicity of his answer.
A monster..., she already figured that out on her own. Only a monster could do that kind of damage in that few amount of attacks.
Of course, it could be that the wolf was in somw kind of shock and didn't want to recall precisely what had happened.
'Well fine, when this "monster" comes, I'll handle it.' she stated simply, figuring she wouldn't get more info out of the male. She curled up and closed her eyes to get some rest.

Marcus stared at the vulpine canine and shook his head at her, she must have been arrogant or outright stupid to say something like that. He wasn't sure what to say to her now, now that she had said this as if she was surely ready to fight this...thing that had hurt him so badly. "I..." He stammered a bit before shutting up as he saw how she attempted to rest. He supposed that he should stay awake and guard her den, just in case someone or something would come by.

By the time morning hit, Marcus was a mess of exhaustion, his eyes drooping constantly from lack of sleep, he kept forcing himself to stay away by nipping himself every time he felt on the verge of sleeping. His fur help patches of red accompanying his larger already healed wound, he owed it to this fox though, to at least keep her safe and protected through the night. He glanced back at her, his eyes reddened from being sleep deprived. He faintly picked up the scent of a nearby bull elk, it was probably a bad idea to try hunting in his condition, but who knew how she was living. He weakly picked himself up and left the den, albeit hesitantly, he kept a slow and steady walking pace as he tracked his prey. His ears twitched to the sounds of quickening hooves, something spooked the elk, it didn't matter though, it was his. With a slight groan of pain he forced himself to break into a sprint, quickly closing in on the elk's pursuer, a mountain lion, a low growl escaped the wolf, he wasn't about to let that stop him. Marcus' massive paw swiped across the body of the big cat, bowling it over, quickly he pounced it, his claws paws pressing onto the cat's skull until a series of crushing sounds came from the predator, bring his paw from the gore he began to run once more, getting sight of the elk's hind. His strides became longer before bounding, his massive jaws locking around the elk's leg, bringing it to the ground. Soon after his jaws were around the struggling and very large male elk, crushing its throat and killing it quickly, after a while of dragging, he finally made to the den. Successfully pulling the kill closest to her and lying down beside her, clearly tired.

Hikaru looked at his reflection in the glassy pond water. He remembered how scared he was when he first laid eyes upon Zaku's second-in-command.
...
Hikaru laid in the rocky quarry, sleeping his day away. His ears twitched as loud screams echoed inside them. The ground shook every few seconds. "What's going on..." he groaned as he woke up. He wrinkled his nose at the smell of blood. Hot, warm breath spread over him. "Who's there?" He was alone in the rocky pit, everyone had left. He looked up and saw a mouthful of bloodstained teeth. Sharp canines jutted upwards at varying lengths. Drool glistened on them as the creature smiled devilishly. Two glowing red eyes glared down at him, full of anger. Looking at the creature as it rose up, Hikaru's eyes bulged as he gawked at the monster's enormous, muscular frame. Shaggy black fur covered the beast from top to bottom. Bat wings sprouted from it's back, stretching across the length of the area.

"Who are you," the humanoid monster growled.

"H-Hikaru..." he squeaked. He thought he saw the demon smile. Hikaru scampered away, frightened of the massive beast. He remembered the rumours about the two members who disappeared after seeing him, and hid in solitude, scared out of his wits. He had never known fear until that day.

...
Leon looked at Hikaru. "You okay," he asked, his nose twitching as he said this.

"Huh," Hikaru stuttered, looking at Leon in surprise. "I'm fine... just thinking about..." he gulped, "him."

It had been a long night when Mina woke herself from her light sleep. She had slept, but not as much as she had wanted. Every time the wolf stirred or nipped himself to stay awake her eyes had opened slightly and she had woken up completely. She had half a mind to tell him he could sleep, but she guessed he would be too stubborn to listen either way.

She glanced up when the wolf trotted out of the cave hesitantly. At first she was curious as to what he was going to do, but soon the scent of elk waved up to her from the distance. She snorted lightly at his stupidity to hunt in this state, but simply curled up a bit again and closed her eyes.

When he returned she could smell the scent of blood and elk clearly, making her smile slightly.
'You're a stupid one, aren't you?' she spoke, eyes still closed. 'You stay up all night and then go out to hunt the next morning? It's almost like you want to stay injured like this.' she opened her eyes and sat up.
'Not that I don't appreciate the food, but you were stupid to put your new skin at risk.'

Marcus lazily opened his eyes when she spoke to him, she sounded like she was bothered by his decision to make sure she wasn't endangered or hungry. "I might be a stupid one, good thing you're smart, right?" He said to her, a subtle smirk on his face as he shut his eyes for a second, continuing to speak after she did once more. "It's the least I could do, I'd be dead without you, you know..." He admitted, as strong as he was, he wasn't going to survive exposure on a level like that. "Maybe that's the plan, the longer I stay hurt, the longer you can take care of me." He grinned, chuckling a bit when she said she had appreciated the food. "What's life without some risks?" He spoke up.

'It's a good thing I am, yes.' she smiled lightly. She stretched out again and moved over to the elk, sniffing it lightly. 'You encountered a feline as well?' she shook her head disaprovingly.
In return to his admittance she smiled faintly and nodded. 'Oh, I know.' she said.
'If that's the plan you came up with, you may want to rethink. My herbs will run out some day.' she grinned slightly as she heard his plan.
She tore off a piece of meat and munched on it as she walked over to him. 'Life without risk is a longer one.' she chuckled.

Marcus smiled a bit at her own ego, finding it a bit funny that she'd go as far as to agree with him. "I did, I was safe about it though.." He explained to her, a gentle smile on his tired face, her retort making him roll his eyes a bit, so maybe she hadn't picked up on his words. "Hmm, maybe so.." He smiled, watching her as she moved toward him, he rolled on his side and huffed, shutting his eyes to rest a bit, without realizing he felt into a deep slumber, snoring lightly and moving every so often in his sleep, waking up a few hours later. He glanced up to still see the fox female floating around the room, figuratively anyway.

'Nothing safe about it.' she snorted lightly, but seemed to set her mind off it. She watched as the wolf settled back and fell asleep, not surprising.
She took the opportunity to eat something before checking on his wounds. His initial wound looked good, but he damaged his skin a bit with his nips. She rolled her eyes and took out a leaf, squeezing the juice out of it and onto the red skin.
Finally she settled back again on her makeshift bed of shadows in the opposite corner of the small cave. The wolf was nice, nicer than she had expected anyway. She figured she should tell him her name when he woke up, she felt like she could at least trust him with that.

"Right, follow my lead."

The two hyenas stalked around the edge of the clearing, staying just far away enough that the animals around the pond would not see them. They stealthily crept to the edge of the forest that the rabbit had its back turned to. "Can't believe we're putting in so much effort for a rabbit," Anxius grumbled quietly as he silently moved closer and closer to the rabbit, "We could have found something bigger and easier to catch by now."

"The rabbit looks so good though," Malacia whispered back with a grin, following close behind him. Anxius rolled his eyes and paused some distance away from the rabbit and studied the situation.

"Doesn't really look like they're trying to kill each other anymore." Anxius commented.

"Really? Soon then?" Malacia asked, perking up slightly.

"Yes, very soon."

Malacia looked back towards the rabbit and hungrily licked her lips.
"Wait for my signal. Don't stop for anything, we should hopefully catch them by surprise. Just run out, grab the rabbit, and run back into the forest. I'll try to slow them down. I'll catch up with you later," Anxius explained.

Malacia nodded, almost shivering with excitement. "Where do I go? And what about you?"

"It's fine, just keep running. I'm the one with the eyes here, I'll find you again."

"If you say so," Malacia replied.

Anxius continued to wait for some time before he turned back to Malacia and said, "Are you ready? I think it's finally time." Malacia nodded and sank into a crouch. "Right then, now!" He tried whispering as loudly as he dared. The two hyenas darted from the forest, headed straight for the wolf and rabbit. Anxius charged directly at the black wolf and, without pausing, leaped for its face, jaws gaping. Malacia, meanwhile, ran as fast as she could towards the rabbit, ready to clamp her jaws on its neck.

Leon heard pawsteps rustling the grass. He turned around, only to see a hyena running towards him. Seconds before she could kill him, Hikaru summoned a small barrier of light swords. Leon was caught off guard by the sudden assault and fell flat on his back. "Who are you," Leon screamed. He flexed his claws, ready to fight again. Leon summoned an earthen sword nearby, just in case he needed it.

Hikaru looked at both of the hyenas, who were trying to murder both of them. "Why are you trying to kill us?" He bared his fangs at both of them, demanding answers.

Anxius bared his teeth in a growl and skidded to a halt in front of the barrier. They also had hissatsu! This was bad; he hadn't planned for this. He wasn't going to give up, however. He turned and ran around the barrier. He faced the wolf and, once again, he quickly leaped towards the wolf, his aim now concentrated on the neck.

Malacia let out a little yelp and managed to slow down enough to only make a soft impact against the barrier. She glanced at Anxius only to see him quickly around the barrier and continue the attack. Taking a deep breath, Malacia followed from the other side. She immediately spotted the rabbit and, without thinking, lunged for it, her jaws gaping.
