Azazel watched as Theodora focused, manipulating the light before him. He squinted lightly as it grew brighter and flickered through the air before dissipating. He seemed surprised for a moment before giving her a subtle smile. So it's true...He thought to himself while she caught her breath. "That's quite the skill you have there Madam." Declared Azazel finally. "My my it is most fascinating!" He leaned forward, passing her a handkerchief from his coat pocket for any sweat she might have broken. "How long have you been gifted with this ability of yours?"

She took the cloth and dabbed at her neck with it. "For as long as I can remember...since I was born maybe?" She finished dabbing the sweat off of her neck and handed the cloth back to Azazel. "I figured it out when I was about five or six. With the help of my sis-" Theodora stopped talking and crossed to the window. She looked out and said, "Look, you can see the whole school from up here...."

"Maybe you just need some training Madam." Said Azazel walking over toward her. "It took me years to perfect what I do. Now I can do things like this..." He drew the curtains closed, casting a shadow across the floor beneath he and Theodora. It writhed and darkened, shifting as it enveloped the floor. With the book in hand, he stepped into the shadowy blob, slowly sinking down into it. "Care to join me?" He asked, inviting her with his free hand.

Will broke the hug and ran towards the door pulling Allie along as he went his voice broke and he shut his mouth and kept moving following Faeya, hoping Alex would follow them and they wouldn't be caught in whatever the hell this was. Will knew if it came to a fight he would have to protect Allie but he also knew he had make sure she didn't panic. He spoke to her as they ran "Allie, just focus on running I promise I'll get you out of here, you'll be fine I promise." he said as they neared the door.

The running was definitely putting strain on Allie's body, but she didn't say anything. Now was not the time to complain of hurting. She'd rather endure the extra pain than be in the school for a second longer. She kept going, coughing and all. "I'll be alright, Will. Don't worry about me, I'm right here." Azazel took Theodora's hand and led her into the darkness below. He gave her a reassuring smile as they slowly descended. Even though the shadows seemed like some kind of liquid, it felt like cold air and was solid beneath their feet. As their heads submerged, a shroud of black coated her vision. Then black and white images of the clock tower cloaked in a dark hue quickly moved away from them, as if they were falling down the side from the very top. Then they were darting through the courtyard at a disorienting speed, weaving through the shadows of the tree's, flying beneath the feet of students. In the blink of an eye, they emerged into the light as Azazel led her out of the void and into one of the schools hallways. They stepped out from the shadow of a corner just out of sight from other students. "Perhaps we can help each other." Spoke Azazel as the portal subsided. "I'll help you as best as I can to better understand those abilities of yours..." He looked around at the hallway. "...and you be my tour guide." Another smile crossed Azazel's face as he looked back at Theodora. "How does that sound?"

All the moving made Theodora a little motion sick, but she was still struck by the beauty and the abilities Azazel possed. When they stopped, she had to lean over and let her stomach stop churrning before she could speak. "That was amazing...." She looked over Azazel's shoulder and out a window to see the clock tower they had been in a moment before. She was about to answer his question when she felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand on end. She glanced over her shoulder. "Wait... something feels wrong..." She turned in circles. "Where are the other students? Where are the teachers?" Theodora gave Azazel a questioning look then motioned with her head, "Come on. We have to find the others." She started walking fast down the hallway, peeking into doors looking for the group that had left the classroom earlier. She found them exiting the library with what appeared to be old books in their hands. "Why do you antique books? And why do all of you look so worried?"
