So, I found the old int check, so I'm just gonna do this, copy and paste the basic description and also link the old int check as well as the old OOC if you guys want to read up more on it.
"This idea has been brewing since I even knew what supernatural monsters and beings were. In a modern day, alternate reality, everything is pretty much the same except the fact that supernatural beings (werewolves, vampires, faeries, dragons, etc.) not only exist but are public knowledge, and have been for several decades now. Of course there is a lot of danger in this, especially if these supernatural beings decide to commit crimes. As a response to this, the government created a new government branch designed to handle "Supernatural crimes and terrorists threats." This branch is known as "Peace Keepers" which is made up of a network of intelligence agencies and field agents. The field agents can be anything from Supernatural beings themselves, to mages, too even regular humans with special made weapons or ancient artifacts to combat other supernatural beings. This plot would follow a squad of agents with at least one new blood and then several other agents which we will be playing. I do have a plot for this, but the best way I can describe it is kind of like...Imagine if we had a crew of super powered fighters going up against a secret terrorist organization, almost like the young justice series :) "
I would go onto explain a second concept to coincide with the plot. While there is an overarching plot for our characters to deal with, I want to interweave between major "arcs" within the rp "personal" arcs for each character. Basically, every character was going to have a "personal" story arc that essentially builds up their character as a person as well as give that RP'er a little time in the spot light as the "main" character of sort, so everyone gets to feel unique and also be the "star" for a little bit.
Anyways, we didn't get very far into the RP because everyone just kind of disappeared, so yeah, six-seven months later, I'm gonna retry this lol.
Also, copy/pasting the rules from the previous int check, so some of this info might be a little out of date (the bit about my other RP is completely irrelevant lol)
"I want to first explain a few things and rules. I'm starting a new RP because my other RP "The Sinners" is moving at a tremendously slow rate. I asked for a 4-5 day time period between each person's post. I would prefer to go faster myself (2-3 days) but being that this is advance and people have other things to do outside this RP, I give a 4-5 day time period. Several members of my other RP have taken a week plus to write responses, and we're already 4+ weeks in with each person having at best 4, the slower ones only having 2-3 up so far. How does this make me feel? Irritated, I give a very reasonable time period, and people still delay posts. If you can't post every 4-5 days, or approximately 3 times every 2 weeks, don't bother reading any further. I don't have the time or patience to waste, sorry if it seems harsh, just tired of RP's losing steam cause people don't want to give adequate effort into doing it. If you can keep this post schedule up, then continue reading. If you can keep up with this schedule, but occasionally need more time, just let me know before hand and then I'll understand. If it becomes a regular thing, then I'll get angry.
Secondly, I am having at most, a maximum, limit, max quota, (insert other word or phrase for "no more allowed" here) of 4 other RP'ers get involved. I intend to do this based on CS's turned into the OOC once we get past the int check, no first come first served, no calling or reserving spots. Everyone gets a few days after the OOC is up to make a character, after that I close the "application period" and review the CS's. From there I will pick at most 4 CS's. This means that not everyone will be accepted, hell that could mean I only pick 2 CS's if I find the others turned in are lacking. If we get less than 3 accepted, I'll give another few days for people to revise, and then make final decisions.
If you are deterred by the walls of text, here's a tl;dr.
1. If you can't post every 4-5 days, gtfo.
2. At most 4 people are accepted based on CS's and even then it might not be a group of 4 accepted. "
So yeah, if you're interested, just say so here in the int check and also just give a quick description of what you're thinking about running for a character as well as a quick description of a personal story arc, for example :
"I'm thinking about making my character be a human warlock that has to deal with the fact that he's slowly being over taken by the demonic spirits that he relies on to use his magical powers."
