I don't like having to go through specifics during and RP, especially a Casual one, I'll see were this goes.

Yea it's kinda like a game of chess. You want to perform a reasonable amount of action that accomplishes your task with as little drawback as possible. And you wanna do it in a way that isn't over powered. If you post a thing and someone else sees a way to take advantage of it, then that's what happens.

drallinix you might wanna tone down just a tad since this IS the beginning of the game and I don't wanna have people die or quit too early. Think of yourselves as "level 1" so you aren't perfect badasses yet. This is an arena RP but I do have a plot idea lined out.

I mean how can I tone down? my character wasn't written to be a prolonged fighter he is a super fast samurai. All of what I did is ascribed in the CS and even if he was moving at the same human speeds as Loki's character the attack is still a fatal one seeing as I am drawing and cutting with a four foot katana and have two foot arms. That puts my character out of his reach and with a clean finishing stroke. Its not a badass thing its how laido works. I have studied it in real life. If he can think of a reasonable way to dodge the attack without god modding im cool. I was just saying that the setup for that attack was like giving a samurai an enormous opening.

I couldn't your on your hands upside down turning your hips for a kick. Blocking is out of the question seeing as you have nothing to block with, and your position. Dodging I don't see being a valid option considering your upside down and doing the splits. Im as stumped as you are for a way, admittedly I have never done capoeira which is where i'm assuming that kick is from. I have done laido, Shotokan karate, and taekwondo. I apologize if im coming across as an asshole, but I saw an opening and went for it. This is a tournament for the gods so im assuming your god wouldn't let you die even from that grievous wound, and that youd just be taken into their domain to heal for a while then return.

Yep capoeira, your right about that.

I don't want to use his powers to save him because it would be god moding, and severing his soul from that part of his body would be useless any way. That was a quick fight.

I just reread the intro so apparently you wont actually die since the guy at the beginning says so, but he does say lethal force is authorized so I think its like what happened to the guy in the intro you "die" then are retrieved by your god.
