Welcome to Hibikiaru City, a city of many wonders both big and small. One wonder in particular is the school next to Hibiki Tower known as Mahouki Academy, the school is seen as a normal high school but in reality it is known as Mahouki Academy for Mages. This is the new year and many students have enrolled. However a secret lies beneath the school ground a mysterious girl with bright silver hair lies soon to awaken. What adventures await the students of Mahouki Academy?

"Damnit I'm going to be late!" Shinji said as he barged out of his house with toast in his mouth. Shinji swallows the whole toast in one bite and begins to run a bit faster. "Man why did I oversleep?!" Shinji ran as far as he could until he was out of breath he stopped to take a breather. "Man what a great way to start the first day." Shinji said sarcastically. He sat on a bench near Hibikiaru Central Station and looked up at the blue sky. "You know I find it hard to see me as a mage...neechan." Shinji thought to himself. "I cant even get out of bed on time." Shinji added. Shinji rested as he looked up at the sky.

Lulia had woken up early that morning, back when she was in one of her previous schools she would do the same and make herself lunch. and she had done the same that morning, she always kept an eye on the time making sure not to lose track of it, she had never been late and wasnt planning to especially on her first day.leaving her home she began to make her way down the street she lived on and carried on walking. walking through the town she looked up seeing the tower and smiled a little but instantly lost it not wanting to lose her composure. Lulia had very high expectations for herself, and always made herself act and look a certain way. As she carried on walking she eventually past hibikiaru station and noticed a single boy sitting alone on a bench, Lulia stopped and looked over at the boy for a moment, she wondered what he was doing by staring up at the sky but decided not to bother with him since he was a complete stranger and could be anyone

Ryu had woken up decently early he looked at his alarm clock and saw he still had plenty of time left he quickly got dressed and finished his breakfast then left to school he had gotten to hibikiaru station he remembered that he left his mp3 at home sighing to him self he continued on his way to Mahouki academy.

Yui breathed deeply against the tears that prickled and the corners of her eyes and swallowed against a huge knot in her throat. It was going to be okay, she thought. Just because her alarm hadn't gone off (more like she'd hit Snooze in a sleep-intoxicated stupor), and she was only just making breakfast when the bus was supposed to be coming in about five minutes, didn't mean that she was necessarily going to be late. Just a tad bit tardy.

And then she looked at the microwave clock above her head again. Okay, she was late as heck.

She waited for the timer to chime and she jammed open the plastic container that held her now-poached egg, and stuffed it in her mouth along with her leftover half piece of toast and a spoonful of strawberry jam as an afterthought. And then she realized: her face was probably a crumb-covered mess.

"Dang it to frickin' heck!" She cried out as she raced to the bathroom to peer into the mirror as she brushed her face off and washed it with soap and water for literally the fourth time that morning, and brushed her teeth for the second. "Jesus," she breathed in exasperation, and then grabbed her fluffy pink alpaca-shaped backpack and zipped out the door, racing for the bus stop and hoping that she wouldn't miss her ride, even by a little.

Shinji looked at the sky and then gave a shocked gasp "Dammit I spaced out for to long! Now I know I'm late!" Shinji jumped up and instantly ran for the school passing hordes of people(Including Lulia) He ran so fast that he almost flew. He reached the school courtyard as he stopped and gazed at all the other students that were his seniors. "Woah!" Shinji said amazed at what he saw. "Neechan, I think I finally see myself as a mage now." Shinji thought to himself. As Shinji gazed in awe an older voice nearby was heard. "You there impure boy!" said the voice Shinji turned around angrily "Who are you calling impure boy you..." Shinji stopped yelling as he saw the beautiful woman standing before him. "...Beautiful girl." Shinji added to his last sentence. "Who are you and what are you doing here?" Said the girl. "M-my names Shinjimoto Kagemura ma'am" said Shinji nervously. "Hmmmm Kagemura you must be one of the new first years here correct?" said the woman. "Y-yes ma'am!" said Shinji. The girl giggled a bit "No need to be so formal my names Sakura Miyamoto I'm a 3rd year aswell as the class president of Magi Class." said Sakura as she held out her hand. Shinji shook her hand. "It says your in Magi Class Shinji so why dont I take you there." said Sakura taking Shinji's hand. "Sure Miyamoto-san." said Shinji. "Please call me Sakura." Sakura replied as they went towards the school.

Lulia just watched as the boy she had just seen sitting moments ago run past her, she said nothing as she once again continued on her way. "Why was he in such a rush?" She thought to herself as she kept walking, on the way there she kept to herself. this time she didnt stop to look at anyone, and was glad when she got there. she just hoped all her class mates would be mature and proper. she wasnt a fan of people who acted immature

Ryu was almost at school when a kid around his age sprinted past him "what's wrong with him?" he thought he looked around the school and saw the boy that ran past him earlier "he looks new lets see if he knows where to go" he thought "hey grey head!" he shouted at then other student.

A blaring alarm broke the silence of Aaron's room before it was almost immediately silenced by his fist hitting the snooze button. With his face still in the pillow he though to himself, "Maybe I can get a few more minutes in before-" he spoke to soon as his mother barged into his room, "Aaron get up its your first day at your new school!" The boy groaned as he rolled out on bed and onto the floor below. He lazily got up from the floor and got himself ready for school. Once downstairs he grabbed a drink from the fridge and headed for the door. "Aaron aren't you having breakfast?", his mother called to him. "No thanks mom I'm alright", he replied while going through the door.

Arriving at the bus stop Aaron looked at his phone's clock and saw he was running late. "Of course", he said in frustration. He decided it was better to just start walking than wait for the bus and eventually he arrived at school....late. "Now where am I supposed to go?", he wondered as he walked around campus. "Eh I guess I'll just wait around till I find someone who knows where they're going", he mumbled to himself as he strolled around the school grounds.

Lisana finished drinking her orange juice and grabbed an apple as she rolled out her front door locking it behind her and stretched, feeling her back pop she jumped up onto her roof and put her hands in her pocket before she did a burn-out untill her wheels caught and she sped off over the roof tops jumping when one came to an end and doing a couple of tricks here and there while avoiding the groups of people below by-passing the bustle.

When she had the school building in sight she jumped into the ground slowed her speed down to a walk so that she wouldn't hit anyone and went through the gate relaxing as she looked over her schedule.

Shinji and Sakura walked through the halls of the school. "Hey Sakura is there a late bell here at the school? Usually you can hear it at a distance but I didnt. Shinji asked "Nope no school bell I had a feeling you would ask that you seemed in a rush." Sakura replied "So next time take your time we here at Mahouki Academy are a bit more easy-going then other schools." Sakura added "And here I thought I was gonna be late." Shinji said as Sakura giggled "Well here we are Magi Class your classmates that are also first years are Lisana Haroko, Yui Kakihara, Aaron Caswell, Tyler Pierce, Shiro Reihashi, Ryu Kurosaki, Lulia Winterbloom, Keishi Kobayashi, Mitsuko Kanai, and Minako Tanaka. I know that sounds like alot of people but you'll do fine. Remember some of your seniors like me are in the class too be sure to get along with them and not just your fellow first years." Sakura said "Y-yes ma'am!" Shinji said bowing his head "Again dont be so formal." Sakura replied "Shinji looked up and smiled at Sakura. "Thanks for your help Sakura I would have never made it with you. There need to be more people like you." Shinji said "No problem I'll join you for homeroom once all your fellow students have arrived. Your desk number is B-6 that's a window seat and your right next to me too!" Sakura said as Shinji opened the door to Magi Class. "Thanks again Sakura" Shinji said as he went in and shut the door behind him. "He's gonna do great here. I'll make sure to look after him..Maya-senpai.." Sakura thought to herself as she walked away. Shinji who was in the classroom was instantly greeted by three angry looking boys. "Um...hi?" Shinji said nervously.

Tyler woke up still tired from watch tv all night last night and when he looked at the calendar he'd forgotten about school. He quickly got changed and ready for his first day of school and ran out his door with a pancake in his mouth. He quickly finished eating his pancake and walked to school thinking about what might happen in a school full of wonders. He loved exploring and going to places he hasn't been to yet ever since he was little boy. He traveled a lot with his dad until one day he disappeared and has never heard of him since. All he will ever want is to make his father proud and become the best mage there is so he took the opportunity to go to this school. As he walked to school he notice some other people heading toward the school as well. Until he finally arrived at the school and walked through the gat and the halls til he went inside the classroom and sat down at an empty desk and relaxed a bit.

Lisana rolled up to her classroom door and lowered her head as to not draw attention to her face and opened it sitting down at the seat closest to a window and opened it so she could get out of the room quicker when the class was over then took it upon herself to start looking around the room noting the others 'so these are other mages, this should be interesting' she said to herself under her breath.

Finally arriving at what he guessed was his class Aaron took a seat in the back near the window. "So these are my classmates", the thought as he looked around the room examining everyone who was here so far. He then noticed a girl sitting by the window a few seats ahead of him. He got out of his seat and walked over to hers before asking, "Hey this is the class for first year students right?"

Lisana jumped a bit at the person who had walked right up to her, when she recovered she said "Yeah I think so at least that's what my schedule said" and held up the paper and turned sit in a more comfortable position and then took a closer look at the boy.

"Nice, then it looks like we'll be having classes together. My name's Aaron, and you are?", he said as he extended his hand with a smile. "Making friends on the first day. Not so bad Caswell", he thought to himself

Shinji overheard the 2 talking and decided to walk up to them in order to escape the 3 angry boys. "He wont escape us that easily!" said one of the boys. "I'm guessing your looking for Magi Class correct" Shinji said "If so then welcome to the class my names Shinjimoto Kagemura I'm a first year as well but you can call me Shinji." Shinji added. Shinji looked down at the rollerblades the girl was wearing. "Woah those are the Motorollers from MotorBlade!" Shinji said admiring the rollarblades. "They're the fastest motorized rollerblades currently out!" Shinji then cleared his throat in order to calm himself "Anyways yeah welcome to Magi Class. To working hard together." Shinji said holding out his hand.

Aaron wasn't interested in getting into a fight on the first day and if he could avoid those guys he'd be more than happy to do so.

"I'm not sure to be honest. I'd love to advance my skills in magic but as for what I'll do with it I guess I'll find out as the years here go by. What about you?", Aaron hoped that Shinji's answer could give him an idea of what he'd want because he truely did not know what he wanted to do once he graduated. Perhaps use his powers to be a vigilante or something?

Shinji chuckled a bit "Hmmm I guess you could say I'm on a search for someone." Shinji said looking out the window "Someone that used to go here but on her graduation vanish without a trace." Shinji said starting to tear up a bit.
