Panty and Stocking with Garderbelt is a twelve episode anime featuring an alternate earth, where God and Satan exist and everyone knows they do...but they aren't the same God and Satan from our Judeochristian myths. God, in this world, is the female embodiment of freedom. Angels represent freedom as well, and the main character angels (Panty and Stocking) are the purest form of it--anarchy. Satan represents order, and the main three demons (Scanty, Kneesocks, and Corset) are good examples of order. Ghosts are creatures created from the pain of humans. A person, or multiple people, who die with some form of negative emotions, can create a ghost. Angels and demons fight constantly to instill more freedom and order on the world. One city in Japan, Daten City, features a secret Hells Gate holding one ghost powerful enough to destroy everything. Because of that, Daten City tends to be a magnet for ghosts, demons, and angels. It's a near-constant battleground, and the citizens tend to back God in this war.
(But honestly, I imagine a world completely ruled by God would be terrible. This God doesn't give a shit about "good" or "evil"; She only cares about pure freedom. As long as you are free to do whatever, She won't stop you)
There's a special thing about angels and demons. They are able to wield their lingerie into powerful supernatural weapons. Each angel and demon can wield one type of lingerie and create a weapon out of it. Clothing from Heaven or Hell is the most powerful, but it doesn't have to be theirs. Some angels or demons can wield the opposite sex's lingerie, but with mixed effects. (For example, Panty, able to turn panties into a pistol named Backlace, can also wield her sister's panties. Men's underwear can also be used, but it's form and power depend on the user's erm...size and shape.)
Angels, of course, look like humans. Their weapons glow white with a blue tinge, and their feathery wings and halo glow blue. The halo and wings appear when they are "fully powered" (aka, really angry and ready to kick ass) and allow them to fly at insane speeds. Female demons are blood red, while male demons are blue-gray. Both have horns and yellow-green eyes. They sprout have natural forked tails, and can sprout bat-like wings when they are ready to instill order. Demons weapons glow black with a yellow edge, and their wings and tails glow red. They can also fly.
Angels and demons are evenly powered. Their weapons cancel eachother out, and sometimes result in explosions from the clash of power. (Ex: Scanty and Panty both shot at eachother, and the bullets hit head-on and created an explosion.) Both angels and demons have heightened speed, strength, reaction time, and a supernatural ability to withstand all kinds of damage, like explosions, buildings falling on top of them, constriction, getting shot, etc. A demons weapons "powers up" ghosts, while angels weapons harm it and make it explode violently.
This is the roleplay. Daten City, our own characters, no Panty or Scanty or even Corset. Here in Daten City, many angels and demons are meeting to fight for control. The town changes hands nearly every year--one year, God rules it, and anarchy takes to the streets. The next year, the demons rule, and the law cracks down on rioting and internet pirating. Now, the town is split in the middle--demons control the ghettos, and angels control the higher class areas. One spark and more violence will erupt. Who will win?

- I'd like at LEAST one paragraph each post. There is no maximum, and I'd greatly prefer multiple paragraphs with good spelling. Grammar's a bit iffy--as long as it flows well, it's okay. I say that because No Country for Old Men has terrible grammar, but it flows well, and is considered a classic.
- Cursing, nudity, violence, and strong adult content are ALL allowed. However...keep it classy(ish). Write so we know what is going on, but it's not so obvious.
- Keep the species even. Genders don't have to be even at all.
- One weapon type per character. AKA: one pistol allowed, but three people can use panties to turn into weapons. It's just that one panty-user has a pistol, one has a shotgun, and the other has a sniper rifle.
- Have fun!
