Why? I don't think we can judge until the movie is out.
Banning the extended Universe showed utter disregard or care to the vast majority of star wars.
And a lack of willingness on Disney's part to try to properly install their movies in the universe.
Instead going "Nope, we do what we want. All of this stuff you fans grew up with isn't important".
Which largely shows a lack of care or interest in Star Wars at all.
And the teaser relied on "Oh look ships! Face close ups! A new saber! Here's some lame voice person generically listing dark side and light side".
It seemed to completely spell out that the best they had to offer was something flashy and then going "This is generic good vs bad!".
Which does not bode well for the rest of the movie if that's what they chose to show off.
