Yesterday morning, at 8:32 am, the end of the world began. Just above your home, in a flurry of light Plaque bearing aliens warped to our planet, and proceeded to wipe out every human being in their path. Their purpose is yet unknown, as is their origin. Within the first 24 hours of their arival, the United States has fallen, as well as most european nations, japan, russia, and several other nations. Less than 1/3 human beings survived the first night of their existance. Humanity as a whole is expected to fall within the week. It has become aparent, we are no longer the dominant species on this planet.

The above is a short range radio broadcast. Our characters will be begining in a smaller town located by the redwoods forest in northern California. We survived the wipe of the city because we were in the forest (for whatever reason you may have.) and when you returned to your home, you found everybody dead. We will begin our survival story at that point, with everybody preparring for the long term by salvaging for supplies in the local grocery store. so, lets not waiste too much time on OOC, and lets get started.
Our CS's will be relatively simple.
