**GDTRP Franchise Lists** The list of franchises currently owned by players [REAL LIFE FRANCHISES]: [Note, a player may only claim 5, after that you can trade, sell, etc to get more franchises, depending on how many sales and good reviews a franchise gets, it may be worth two franchises or more! Basically a franchise worth more than others, this is all player-based. **NOTE you MUST follow these regulations for real life franchises and games based off of others!** 1. The more original a game is (and not belonging to a real life franchise) the higher the score it gets, do NOT Carbon Copy the name or the details, change it up a bit, Plot, different items, etc will make the difference. 2. Be CREATIVE! A follow-up of Rule #1. Make up your own stuff, the main thing about reserving real life franchises is the Gameplay it keeps and the theme of it perhaps. 3. You may NOT create a game of someone else's/unclaimed franchise (co-developing is allowed, don't worry) but you can keep the gameplay of it, if you change it up a bit. --- **GDTRP Session 1 List** The list of franchises currently owned by players [REAL LIFE FRANCHISES]: [Note, a player may only claim 5, after that you can trade, sell, etc to get more franchises, depending on how many sales and good reviews a franchise gets, it may be worth two franchises or more! ![enter image description here](http://i.imgur.com/mLnG8Mp.png "enter image title here") **Goliath Entertainment is an unscrupulous publisher with several subsidiaries that develop their games. It acts like a cross between 1980s Nintendo (console monopoly), EA (overall a bad company), Ubisoft (poor product, draconian DRM), late 00s Sony (E3 2006) and E3 2014 Microsoft.**

When he grew up he attempted to go to a tech college or university and did! He eventually taught code and design to his friends: Shane, Josh, Michael, and Sawyer. These five friends decided to attempt to start up a gaming company, and the rest is history. A notable thing about Draconic Studios is that while located in the USA and originating in America, the company itself, acts quite a lot like a Japanese company in the sense of releasing games, the artwork used, pop culture, and the popularity of things in Japan. Japan will ALWAYS be a market Draconic Studios releases in. --- Assassin's Creed: DiamondBlizzard Touhou: DiamondBlizzard Super Smash Bros: DiamondBlizzard Street Fighter: DiamondBlizzard These are my reserved franchises^, of course I have 4-6 other original ones, heh. Note that you get a maximum of five REAL LIFE Franchises at the start, anything that is original or a spin-off is alright! For a spin-off you MUST have the "parent" franchise first, otherwise you're good!

Oliver Zehn Age: 24 Position: Lead Developer **Location** Medicine Hat Alberta Canada _Although interested in video games and programming, Oliver Zehn's family was never wealthy and thus he only had experience with the consoles of friends and school computers. After winning a raffle draw for $50k, he realized he couldn't afford college even with the prize and instead bought himself a computer to begin creating a game to test the waters. Oliver gathered a few like-minded friends with their own home computers to finish the game and form his new upstart gaming studio. 10 years later, with some money from investors and a game ready for release, the future of the company is looking bright._ --- Sonic the Hedgehog: SimYouLater SimCity: SimYouLater The Sims/Grand Theft Auto: SimYouLater Trainz: SimYouLater Spore/Star Citizen: SimYouLater The combos of The Sims/Grand Theft Auto and Spore/Star Citizen are a new rule I've suggested. I get claim to the particular combo, but not its components. So someone can make a game based on The Sims OR Grand Theft Auto but NOT both simultaneously. They also have to avoid overlap with features of my "combo" game series. Making a combo means you have to be more careful, as you are essentially taking two ideas and cherry-picking the best features, which may only work in theory; if the features don't mesh in your description (and you HAVE to describe every game in a combo-based franchise in detail) then the game will be considered a flop. Note that the first game in a franchise is critical. You fail with it, the franchise becomes a dud and you have to rely on your remaining franchises. You run out of franchises, and you're stuck making one-off titles or creating AND describing a franchise in detail based on a totally unique game concept not seen in reality (which is essentially equivalent to writing an actual new game plot).

Talltale Productions Location Minato, Tokyo. CEO Dan Fischer, 34. Company History Telltales Interactive was founded in 1979 as an IT consultation firm by the name of Fischer Systems in Anaheim, California, by Dan and Marie Fischer. A programmer for IBM, Dan bought an Grapple II microcomputer which he planned to use to develop a Fortran compiler for. At the time, his wife Marie was playing text adventure games on the Grapple II. Dissatisfied with the text-only format, she realized that the graphics display capability of the computer could enhance the adventure gaming experience. After initial success, the duo's company was renamed Talltale Productions in 1989, and moved to Minato, Tokyo. Franchises - Anno - Bioshock - Grand Theft Auto - Infamous - Portal
