I think you should shape-shift yourself into something more attention grabbing like a celebrity and then have Sam deny it whenever somebody approaches her, just to mess with them. ;) Also, you may want to consider the fact that mostly everyone's characters are inside the school trying to at least get a sense of direction and rooms/dorms. I believe there's at least one more guy that needs to enter his character in as well.

Oh I'm a lurker, btw...Please don't mind me, I'm watching as a part of the audience, for now...*sinks back into shadows* (highly tempted to jump in and interact with your character though).

Sam's still kind of shy about revealing her ability, she's spent the last couple of years keeping it hidden even from her mom and dad. The only person she shared it with was her childhood friend Shelia
Believe me she's considered such tricks but to play a celebrity to perfection she needs to touch them first so she can copy their DNA. Then it's easy peasy to pass as anyone

Oh that makes sense, especially since I went back to read your CS. So I assume the process would be instantaneous, as if say you would shake my hand and then you'd be able to physically copy my body? Heh, think of all the things you'd be able to pull off with that! Oh the possibilities :)

Yes, once Sam's touched someone she could pass all but intense security screening
She could be detected by medical X-rays that show her bones to be unbroken and perfect where your's might have been in an accident years ago.
Of course she might make the perfect Girl Friend for someone so long as they approach the subject carefully. Lucy Liu, Vivica Fox, Beyonce and others and you Wouldn't be cheating
