Kyle sighed as the sunlight dwindled through the curtains. He sat up in bed, looking up at the ceiling. "Another day....." he murmured, getting up. He looked across the street to see the academy doors, wide open, greeting the new students. "More and more of us attend this place every year.... How long until it's safety is no longer around?" he thought out loud. He had seen many things that a dragon does not forget since he was a freshman at the school from last year. Dragon graveyards, ancient tombs, dragon societies... and even...... He shuddered. He didn't want to remember...... He got dressed and found his bag. "Time to show some people around, i guess..." he mumbled.

Everyone has to have a first day, thought Durga to herself, walking reluctantly though the gates. Her large eyes flitted from person to person, although she was careful to keep her distance. Her anxiety was up. She could feel it in her now enhanced-senses. Details were sharper, the students' chatter filled her strange new mammalian ears, and her braid went thump-thump against her back. Oh, how she wanted to just turn back to her real form and fly away to hike or camp or swim in some clear blue lake.

Kyle opened his window and jumped out. He was on the fifth floor of an apartment building, ans he let himself free-fall for a little. He quickly formed into his dragon form, glided across the somewhat-empty street, and formed back, dropping to the ground. He landed, catching his bag with his right hand and slinging it over his shoulder. He looked up to see most of the students staring at him, and he shrugged, walking towards the open doors of the school. He heard whispers as he walked by, and he smirked slightly. They'll learn... he thought, chuckling.

Among the people staring was Durga. Her mouth was slightly agape, but she quickly shut it and lifted her chin pridefully. I could certainly have done that. The only strange thing about it was that it was in public. Still though, she was impressed, but she got over it and continued walking, pretending not to have seen.

Kyle walked through the crowd, an uninterested expression on his face as people stared and whispered, moving out of his way. Sure, his little school arrival had been strangely in public, but who cqred? He sure didn't, it was just another year here. He walked into the cafeteria, grabbing some breakfast and going to sit down.

Konsa gagged, making sure that he had gotten all the puke out. School was frightening for him, making him so anxious he had already started puking. A hand gently touched his shoulder, seeking to provide comfort. Konsa shrugged it off violently, standing to his feet with a snarl. "Don't touch me." He said, glaring out from under his blue-black hair. The man, Konsa had forgotten his name, frowned and had a very gentle and sincere expression. It agitated Konsa further. "Are you ready to go the school now?" He asked quietly, Konsa balled his fists and nodded. His was driven, the car ride was silent and Konsa left without another word. As he neared the academy a sick feeling gurgled in his stomach. He ducked his head, not wanting other students to notice any uncovered scars or the fact one of his eyes were covered with a dark patch. He walked carefully, looking down at his schedule. Konsa stopped by a cafeteria, glancing in before taking a step inside. It buzzed with the talking of the gathered students.

Kyle sat down alone on the other side of the cafeteria, picking as some bacon (yum XD) and looking around. He spotted Konsa and smirked. "Another neewbie.... Another one in training..." he murmured to himself.

Durga ducked into the cafeteria, stood in line while tapping a foot impatiently, and snatched up some food quickly. She went at a quick trot to a mostly-empty table and perched there.

Konsa scanned the crowd, he was definitely not hungry but he wanted a place to rest a bit before classes started. On the other side of the room it was less crowded, Konsa headed over to that area. There was an empty table, that was across from another boy who seemed to have green hair tips. Konsa tried not to stare, he did not see things like that on a regular basis. He set his schedule out on the table, yawning.

Kyle smirked, looking at Konsa. He found him.... Interesting in a way. He couldn't help but watch him, trying his best not to seem creepy. He noticed that a few students were also watching him and smirked again. "It looks like you've got some admirers.." he called over to Konsa, motioning to a group of girls at a nearby table. He yawned and stretched his arms over his head, his shirt lifting up slightly to reveal his tone stomach. (Mushckles XD ) "So, you new around here? I don't think I've ever seen you around town..." he said, looking up at him, his golden eyes sparkling playfully. "I think I would remember someone like you..."

Another person had plopped down close by him, eating her food. She did not seem interested in making conversation. Konsa happened to catch sight of that boy. He was staring at him, which led Konsa fidgeting, feeling suddenly self-conscious knowing someone was watching him. He shot a glare, teeth bared in an aggressive manner.

Amy yawned and walked through the doors. She was a little late, but it didn't matter to her. She just needed to find out what to do, and have some friends to help her. Amy grabbed a schedule and tried to find a place where she could be around people.

Kyle smirked at Konsa. "Your teeth don't scare me, dude... Find another defense..." he said casually. He stood up and walked slowly towards the table he was sitting at. He stopped next to Konsa looking down at him. ".....What's your name...?" he asked, looking over at gis schedule.

Konsa was surprised by Kyle's response, and felt a little embarrassed. "Um... Konsa. Not like it's any of your business." He muttered, avoiding Kyle's gaze.

Amy walked into the place and looked around. There were so many people! She wondered if any of them would be her friend.

"Kyle..." he said, sitting down next to him. "..what class do you have first?" he asked, looking at him. His black and green hair wasn't as spiked up as usual and it was kind of drooping over his right eye a bit.

David was sitting at his desk, working on an old drawing. His white hair kept, getting in his eyes so he had to move it out of the way. Not a lot of people wouldn't pay attention to him, David looked up, something was on his mind bothering him.

Durga glanced shiftily from one place to another, waiting for someone to sit near her. She told herself that she would try to strike up a conversation if the opportunity arose.

Amy saw a young girl with braids sitting without anyone near her. She walked over to the girl and said, "Hi, I'm Amy. Who are you?"

Durga looked up. "My name's Durga. Nice to meet you. Are you new here? I am.."
