Shishi, Furiku sat in the large black armored van that belonged to Mary St. Jude, the Hospital in which made it so he was forcibly picken up and drove to the middle of nowhere, where the 4-story building stood. He had a mixture of emotions, some sad that he'd most likely never see his family or neighborhood again, but also his positive side made sure to keep him from feeling worried or sad, but he didn't know how long his optimitization would last.

In the van was another Patient, whom had blond hair and slightly pale skin, although it was difficult to tell much in the small light that the back of the van had. He wondered what power she had, but his powers had already gone to work and sensed what powers she had. She could tell the future and the past. Neat.

For a while he had just sat in the van thinking, thinking about his friends, his family, the Hospital, but he had then decided to introduce himself. Better to get to know the other Patients, starting with the nearest one to him.

"I'm Shishi, Furiku." he said, introducing himself as he looked over to her.
It was currently 5:23 AM (0553), 37 minutes before the usual daily wake-call. Normally they'd be called to wake up at 6:00 AM (0600), but since the new Patients would be arriving anytime soon, the speakerphones turned on early to announce the wake-up call. "Wake-Up Call. I repeat, Wake-Up Call. New Patients are to arrive by 0600, all Patients are to be ready and at the courtyard by 0600 to greet the new arrivals. This is manditory." The speakers said. Once the each Patient was ready, they'd leave their rooms and go to the Courtyard out the front entranceway through the Front Office, and stand or sit whever they liked in the Courtyard.

On the opposite side to Shishi, sat a psychic, or at least, a girl with the powers of an Esper. She yawned somewhat as she woke up to being still in the same old van, on a bumpy, dirt road. Or at least, that's how it felt, as the truck rattled and shook as it drove along. Rubbing her eyes, she glanced towards the small window between them and the driver - A guard, dressed up and taking them somewhere to the middle of no where. It was like a new adventure!

Flattening her ruffled up blonde hair till it looked somewhat neat, Alyssa smiled to herself before she was interrupted by the male across from her introducing himself. They'd been put in the same van and this was the first time they had spoken, and whilst she'd normally be overjoyed and thrilled at the prospect of meeting another person with powers like herself, she had held her tongue. Didn't want to scare anybody away with her happy attitude. She had been told she could be a bit much.

"Hey. I'm Alyssa Carmichael. Pleasure to meet you," She smiled, reaching out her pasty hand towards him, at which point she took his own and shook it without even waiting. "So, did you sleep alright? The bumpy road is a pain right? I kept waking up all night," She added, softly laughing at herself. "But, at least some sleep is better than no sleep..."

A small, red-headed girl awoke to the sound of the wake-up call, tired and red-eyed.

She yawned loudly and slowly sat up in her bed, half-opened eyes looking around as her expression gradually changed into one of confusion. This... What? Where was she? This didn't look like her room. It didn't look like anywhere she'd been before, either. She rubbed her face, specifically her eyes, and opened them wider to get a better look at her surroundings. But it was no good. The bed was unfamiliar, the walls unfamiliar, the petty furniture, door... None of it looked familiar! Where was she? Why wasn't she at home in her own bed?! W-what was-

<Calm, sweet Summoner. I am here.> A spectral voice echoed in the young girl's mind, distinctly inhuman and yet... Friendly. Warm, even. It was a comfort, one she found familiar, and as her mind still reeled at her unpleasant awakening she turned to look down beside her bed where the source of the voice became known. A great, shaggy black dog sat by her side, looking down at her with bright white eyes. It was huge, far larger than any ordinary canine, nearly the size of a grizzly bear! The beast looked as though it could tear her head off with one bite, but the red-haired girl felt no fear as she gazed upon the dark furred canine. As her eyes fell upon it, -him-, she remembered it all. She remembered the days before, being stolen away, traveling for hours... And then her arrival yesterday morning, drove through the gates of Mary St. Jude, the place that was her new home. Her new prison.

Sophia felt a lump rise in her throat, threatening to choke her, trying to force out the sobs. She lunged at the shaggy black bear-dog by her side, throwing her arms around the massive bulk and clinging desperately to his warm fur, burying her face into his neck to dry her tears before they fell. Her body shivered, the poor girl trying desperately to hold back from crying any more than she already did last night, and the bear-dog lowered his head to gently lick her cheek, claiming the single tear that managed to drop down her skin.

<Do not cry, sweet Summoner. We are here for you...>

-

A short time later Sophia rolled her way towards the courtyard, washed up and dressed, the great bear-dog no longer by her side. Instead a small creature lay curled up on her lap, chest rising and falling gently as it slept while the young girl wheeled her chair out through the entrance, blasting her with a cool breeze alongside warm sunlight. She shivered, looking around as she rolled down the ramp and onto the grass, seeing many other patients already gathered all over. Many were alone, though many others were gathered in small groups, talking and even laughing a little. Some, Sophia noticed with a little awe, were displaying their unique abilities to their friends. Not knowing where to go she simply wheeled out onto the grass, finding a patch that wasn't too close to any of the groups and settling into a nice place, feeling the sun drop down onto her skin and warn away the morning chill.

The small creature upon her lap, very similar to a fox, though smaller and somehow more... regal. Its orange fur warmed by the sun, making the small fox-like thing stretch out across her lap, eyes drifting open just a tad to reveal bright yellow. Sophia ran a hand over the fox-creature's fur, to which it grumbled happily. She smiled down at it, then lifted her head to look out past the courtyard gates, wondering how long it would be until the arrival of the new people.

A light pale skinned girl woke up her eyes barely opening before she was up. She knew her cell, everything in it and everyone around it. The camera in her room was on a rotation so she at least could see something that wasn't guard patrol that never happened. Ali smirked as she was already dressed. As in the means she didn't change for bed last night. She barely slept. Her life here was miserable, from the testing for why she can see what they are doing, to the lack of freedom. walking out of her ' cell' she made her way through the halls to the court yard and sitting her self down in the grass. xShe was watching everyone and could see the faint view of a van puling up then restarting. It wasn't the finest thing to do but when she blinked the figures reset in a new direction.

Yolanda Grieg awoke with a small start. She had never been a particularly restful sleeper, her nights often plagued with strange dreams. Not necessarily nightmares but unusual nonetheless. She slowly sat up and sighed quietly, irritation settling in as she stood up.

She got ready in a few minutes and stepped out of her cell, silently observing the guards that lead her down the corridor and out into the courtyard. They spoke quietly to one another, though Yolanda was disinterested in the conversation, focusing instead on the thought of the new arrivals. She had a habit of staring at the guards though not perceiving their idle comments, something she had perhaps developed to unnerve them.

Yolanda was left by a few other patients with whom she had not been introduced. She didn't mind, preferring instead to be left alone with her thoughts.

He chuckled. He got a pretty decent sleep in the van, due to the fact that he was a pretty heavy sleeper when it came to being physically awoken. "And to you the same. I slept pretty well, but I did have a dream that woke me up." he said. He couldn't remember much about the dream, but he knew it involved what his subconcious imagined Mary St. Jude as.

"But I normally-" he was cut short by the van stopping and the gates creaking open for the van to drive in to the parking lot where many other vans parked. The van was slid into a spot and turned off with two guards stepping out of the van and appraoching the back with their weapons at ready, incase the Patients decided to try and do anything funny.

They opened the back doors so the Patients could step out, and would guide them to the Courtyard where most of the Patients were.

"Two new arrivals, Shishi, Furiku and Alyssa Carmichael." one guard with a clipboard said as he checked things off and checked to see whom wasn't at the Courtyard. The other guards would step back but stay at ready.

"Hello, I'm Shishi, Furiku." he said, addressing the other Patients. He wasn't very nervous but he was slightly homesick already. He knew that feeling would just get worse over the day, but he still felt optimistic about it. This was a chance for him to meet people like him, the people with abilities like him.
