Hmm...now where was I? Her fingers went to the keys of the laptop as she pondered where she last left off in chapter twelve of her latest writing feat, but ever so begrudgingly the dreaded block had to set in. Ugh.....really? Now? I have a deadline.... Rebecca grumbled, unable to feel the natural flow of her imaginative thoughts, only a nagging pulsating nerve in her brain from overthinking. She shut the laptop with a huff and stood from her chair, making her way to the small kitchenette and opening the fridge. A small pouch....that's all she had left of her....daily sustenance. Should probably make a run for the clinic soon. Hopefully there's a few left from last week's blood-drive. Taking the plastic bag of crimson liquid, she shut the fridge behind her and poured the viscous blood into a wine glass. At least she should enjoy her primal desires with a bit of sophistication. Delicately, she took a sip of the blood, cold, but still refreshing. She then took her beverage and herself to the living room, whereupon she lounged across the couch and flipped on her tv. What irony that the channel she left it on was screening "Nosferatu." "Hmph!" Quickly, Rebecca changed the channel, turning it towards the news as usual of her evenings....

Willis said goodbye and wished her well, while handing her the grocery bags (did we even get them?) from earlier he then made his way back to his home, his day fulfilled.

(Was not sure if he was supposed to follow her or no)

(I forgot the groceries!)

Liz watched Willis leave. Tomorrow they would go back to their own worlds, but she was glad they had crossed paths. Maybe their path would cross again. Liz took the groceries inside ready to call it a day.

Turning off the tv, Rebecca rose to her feet, downing the last sweet, salty, luke-warm sip of blood before setting down the crimson stained wineglass on the coffee table. Back to the window she went again pulling back the curtain. Nightfall had finally passed in those few disparaging minutes, the dark sheet of the sky now dotted with several stars, or more-so the lights illuminating from the nearby buildings and skyscrapers. The night was indeed young as well, and naturally Rebecca had been cooped up in her apartment for quite the entire day. At least during this time, she could get out and feel the fresh air...without any worry of revealing her less wanted side to others. Slipping on her coat, she stepped out into the hall of the seventh floor of the Havencrest Apartment building, opting to take the elevator. Then out into the night she was, strolling down the sidewalks dimly lit by the flickering streetlamps.

Willis was walking home but he was taking the long way around so he could have time to think, this way involved walking past the landmark which is the Havencrest Appartment Building which is a distinctly iconic building.

Someone was behind her. She could hear their footsteps echoing closer and closer to her, bouncing off the cracked and sullen concrete of the sidewalk. It's not that she was entirely afraid. It was just....alot of bizarre things can happen in the night. Also, Rebecca didn't expect anyone else would be out at this late hour.

Willis was walking behind somebody but that was not unusual and he was to busy thinking about the vents of the day to pay attention to the woman in front.

She made it a few feet down the path, when suddenly, as if from the darkness itself, three human men had emerged, a few lecherous hoots and whistles to follow. "Hehe...what do we got here, homies? Yo lady, you goin' somewhere?" Such a menacing air they put off, and by the attire, shabby and sloppy at the most, the woman could tell they were up to no good. Their colors coordinated with eachother as well. Were they some sort of street gang? "Yes, actually I am, so if you would please-" She whispered faintly, the men surrounding her, one of them cutting her off, "Dayum! She a fine lookin' ho, fellas." How ill of them to speak of her as such, yet she stayed calm, "Please, I don't want any trouble, just let me go." Then...one of them pulled a knife, the worst outcome she could imagine. "We'll let ya go, bitch," the bastard grinned viciously at Rebecca. "But first you gonna pay the toll. Gimme your money or gimme your life!"

"Do you know who I am?" Rebecca sternly returned to him. As if being a novelist had any sort of merit to it, but Rebecca was looking for anything to get out of this....anything but that "Bitch, we don't give a fuck who you are!" They growled. "Now empty your pockets or we're gonna fuck you up!"

Casaline walks to the address a boy gave her from a long while ago she liked this boy but wasn't sure about him... yet he was the only boy so far that she stuck with and she was excited to see what would happen, "At least I don't have to watch you have sex anymore." Sara said with disdain. "Wow Sara you always have to ruin the mood" Casaline walked to the house and knocked on the door. She and Sara had agreed that when she was out with him they wouldn't fight so she had this whole night with out being involved in an all out war of the minds. She knocked on the door again and waited for an answer...nothing the she looked at her phone there was a text that said 'I won't be here I have to take care of my Ex's kids love you-Brian.' Wow she slumped down on the steps of his porch and said "Sara." "Yeah?" she replied "I surrender this body to its other half" Casaline said the chant that allowed her to give up the body and when she did she immediately fell into a deep sleep "Goodnight Sara" she said gratefully, when she wasn't in control she could forget go back to sleep and finally know what and who she was.

Willis knew that this was a rough area but he was not expecting this to happen, not tonight after such a good day, but Willis knew that this lady had no chance of defeating a group of thugs even with a weapon, so Willis hid behind a wall and pulled out his trusty Smith and Wesson and leaped from the shadows grabbing one of the thugs from behind and put the gun to his head and said "Freeze!".

"Hey mothafucka! Get yo fuckin' hands off me!" the thug writhed and wriggled in the guys hand, a hesitant face as he felt cold steel pressed to his temple. His other cronies, the cowards they were, darted away without a single word. "A'ight hey! Lemme go man! I'm sorry!" Rebecca took a step back, clenching her arms tight around her and saying to the gunman, "Thank you." Was he a cop or something?

Feeling a sense of pride Willis said smugly "No problem miss" the thug however was squirming violently and thrashing about so Willis said "What would you like me to do with this wretch ma'am?"

He was putting the bastard's life into her hands, but upon further inspection of the miscreant...he was only a kid, barely sixteen from what Rebecca perceived. And the only wrong he had done against the woman was threatening her. "Please....just let him go. No need to kill him." She answered.

"Very well ma'am" that was not what Wilis would have done, for he would have taught him a lesson 40s style but Willis let him go nonetheless. Willis then turned to the lady and said "Are you ok Miss?"

"Man you crazy, asshole!" Were the last words Rebecca would hear of that street urchin before he fled with his fellow ne'er do wells into the city night. She looked to the man and replied with a soft nod, "Yes. Thank you. I was not sure what I would've done if they persisted. Are you a police officer by chance?" She only wondered because he was carrying a gun on him this whole time. She knew most people in the city carried some sort of defense on them, but a gun? It seemed ludicrous.

Willis looked at his gun, and smiled at how old it was and how many lives it has took, he then thought of how he fought in two of the biggest wars in the 20th century and chuckled that if he told her she would not believe him "No but I HAVE fought in two wars".

"A soldier then?" Rebecca mused rather pleasantly. And a valiant one at best, and rather charming to the woman. A light yet alluring smile crossed Rebecca's lips as she looked to him, an odd feeling looming about her head, as if an insatiable urge was pushing her towards him. "Well, I definitely owe this soldier gratitude for rescuing me. Would you care for a drink?" Hopefully that was all she would ask of him, but that feeling inside her....it hungered for something more. Only a drink and that is all, and I don't mean that drink either. Mentally she scolded herself.

Far too old he say? How strange, as his appearance was indeed that of a handsome young man. Nevertheless, Rebecca brought the man back to her apartment. No use in paying for liquor when she had plenty at home, wine mostly and a few bottles of imported vodka, not to mention two fifths of scotch and Irish whiskey. "Please, make yourself at home." She said letting the man into her humble abode. "What can I get you?"

Willis usually drank the finest liqours in town but he knew that she probably did not have such so he said "I will have some vodka, if you don't mind"
