True. Any anyone who acts on it will be reprimanded, as that would be metagaming. Yeah, you could just put a note that he has a band on his tail or whatever. I like the Tsunomon there though. Fits well. Thank you, looks good. Please do post them to the OOC's CS section when you're done. I do like that, with the different uses of barriers.

Right. Well, that's alright. I'll just leave him as-is for now. He's fine. xD And done~ The CS' have been posted on the Characters tab. I put them both in the same post so that I wasn't double posting, though. Would you rather I put them in separate posts instead?

Thank you Digizel. I was considering it, but it doesn't really matter either way.

I don't want to move forward until your satisfied with them, and I'm not exactly sure what to do.

I've already told you- at least one canon technique. There's really nothing changing Gankoomon enough to change all his techniques, and even when it is, like the avian Dynasmon, they're at least similar, like Breath of Phoenix instead of Breath of Wyvern.

Hm... I've got a suggestion for you, Xander. Why don't you try something like "Gankoo Crusher" for that Flipping Table move? You can have him grab the ground and pull a chunk out of it and flip it around, trying to slam it down onto the target? Another possibility is to use his weird "Jishin! Kaminari! Kaji! Oyashi!" move and call it something like "Blitzkrieg." I think it's a fitting name for a move that does elemental attacks in such quick succession. You can have him use an earth-element attack, an electric attack and a fire attack to finish the attack up. Would those work for you, Tob?

Well, it's not like the moves need to be renamed at all, right? Why not just leave them in Romanized Japanese?

I say that because I feel like they're a huge mouthful and are very wordy. I would personally prefer them to be renamed myself because it's a lot simpler and it sounds a lot better to me. Plus, they sound more like real attack names rather than the kind of comical names that they actually are. (And to be completely honest, I would personally vote on getting all of his other attacks translated as well. It just seems weird to me to have German attacks xD)

That's sorta the point of Gankoomon. Indeed, yes. Well, I have a special fondness for German, plus some attacks sound better in Japanese than english, like most of Renamon's stuff. Also, I'd like to point out that Licht Bein is a kick, because it literally means Light Leg.

A: What are you trying to spell. B: Why can't you just copy/paste? Also WIKIMON has TRANSLATIONS built in.

Like what, what it actually means? What's wrong with Tekken Seisai? Like... Tekken's a fighting game, and it probably means something similar to what it means in Tekken Seisai. I'm not going to hold you hand with everything.

That's true, but this Gankoomon is not the same as the one that was originally created. His personality is different, so I feel like he needs a more serious technique pool. As for the move translation, I can understand. I should say that I prefer "Localized" names. That is, names that aren't simply directly translated, but changed to make sense to an English audience while still keeping to the theme of the attack. For example, Lobomon's Licht Sieger being localized to "Lobo Kendo." And yeah, sometimes Japanese names do sound better. But I personally don't think that this is one of those cases. I personally find these names rather...meh. I think the Japanese attacks sound better in an English setting are usually those that are only a single word long or few syllables (such as Renamon's "Kohenkyo." That one just seems to roll off the tongue so well. Although I wouldn't be opposed to localizing it either, such as with the name "Substitution" or something like that.)

Jeez, Tob, calm down. 'Tekken Seisai' is literally the shortest attack name present, and it's not as if dubbing hasn't given the same attack multiple names. Xander's said from the start he wanted a light theme for his Knight, and I kinda snagged Magnamon.

I'm just saying I'd like at least one canon technique, and there are at least comprehendable explanations of them available.
