Andromeda, the Milky Way's closet neighbor. The Milky way is plagued by conflict and strife as the various nations and species within reveal themselves. However in Andromeda there is just as many new alien species and nations, each with different ideals, each with different cultures, and each with vastly different goals that are likely to come into conflict. Will Andromeda achieve ever-lasting peace, will it fall into constant military tensions between the various powers, or will it breakout into all out galactic war?

From Stardust, to Stardust: Tales of Andromeda is a sister RP to the actual From Stardust, to Stardust, the only link it has with the first one though is that they are both set in the same universe. Knowledge and membership in the first one is not required, and this can be easily joined without taking a look at From Stardust, to Stardust. Many of you will also notice the Fantasy tag, this means magic can be used as a explanation for anything. Literal Fantasy Magic. This RP is also freeform and sandbox, history and such is completely up to the players. No past history or anything is setup.

Rules:
1. Standard RP rules. No Godmodding, powerplaying, metagaming, etc
2. Attempt to keep arguments out of the OOC. If there is any arguments add me and the person involved to a PM and I will monitor from there.
3.All of my decisions are to be followed to the letter, if you have a problem with one, please PM me about
4.When making your app, you have to write it yourself. No copying from wikias, although I do not mind if you obviously copy some other species or nation from other works so long as you write the app yourself.
5. 1 paragraph is the bare minimum for each post
6. Keyguy has no authority here.
7.Do not insult anybody in the RP, in PM or OOC, not only is it against the RP rules it is against forum rules. If someone insults you, do not respond back with a insult, report the nature of the material to the mods and let them handle it. If anybody is caught insulting, its a instant-ban from the RP. I do not want to tolerate that shit, we are supposed to be a small little family of RPers making a good story, not people insulting each other.
8.Keyguy points are not accepted as legitimate currency here.
9.The Reply Blob is a false god, and anybody caught worshiping him will be labeled as a heretic and stoned to death.

Yes. That's the Yamato, and yes, those aircraft carriers are clearly based on WWII Japanese designs, and yes, the names sound Japanese because I google translated things and then intentionally misspelled them, and the picture is anime (The scourge of all reference pictures), but that's mostly a reference to the source material, a wonderful franchise called Crest of the Stars. Everything that isn't there as a reference is there because plot.

So you can rest in peace, hypothetical reader, because I'm not one of those people that goes out of their way to use anime in everything, and I'm not someone who hates it either. I am, however, someone who spends way too much time telling other people about how they aren't something.

Name of nation: Korwrath Confederacy
Species: The Korwrath are a humanoid race that look very similar to humans but the only difference is that they have four eyes on their face instead of just two which makes their heads slightly bigger than the average human head. A Korwrath male can grow to be from 6’5” up to 7’2”, this is contrasted to the females who range in height from 5’6” to 6’9”. The skin color of the Korwrath ranges from a golden tan color to a deep red color with the variations of the skin color caused by which capital fleet you grew up on or weather you are from a colonized planet. Other than these specific feature changed they look shocking similar to humans even their lifespans are similar with them normally living to be around 80 years old.

Description of government: The political structure of the Korwrath Confederacy is extremely loose with each fleet governing themselves and even the few colonies that exist anymore having their own governing systems and don't have to answer to any one fleet. There are also small pirate and splinter fleets that are able to govern themselves but these groups must find their own ways to survive as they are exiled from the rest and cannot live off of the Capital ships. The Korwrath system consists of each Capital Fleet being led by three Grand Admirals who must decide together on what courses of actions can be taken by the fleet with a key being on the preservation of their fleet. The colonies of the Korwrath do not have a similar system as they are mainly ruled by one governor who controls the whole planet and this governor is chosen by a vote of all the people who are living on the planet with a new governor being chosen every ten years, but this system isn't always followed and there are a variety of systems in place on several other colonies.

Political Leaders: The Grand Admirals of the Korwrath Confederacy are chosen for their long military service that has risen through the ranks and proven themselves to be born natural leaders who have the mental fortitude to lead an entire nation. Each Capital Planetary fleet consists of three capital ships, each with their own Grand Admiral who all work together instead of just commanding their own ship.

Description of military: The Korwrath military is commanded by the Grand Admirals of the Capital Ships which have absolute command over all branches of the military as they are also seen as the leaders of their nation.





Technological Overview: The Korwrath technology has advanced to the point were they are able to create artificial environments inside the Planetary ships and even on some of the larger civilian ships. The capabilities for faster than light travel have been achieved by the Korwrath and is equipped onto every ship in the fleet even the massive Capital ships but the fleets prefer to drift through space and only use the hyper drives only in times of emergency as it drains a massive amount of energy from the generators and it takes long periods of time to gain the lost energy back after a jump.
Military technology for the Korwrath Confederacy is reaching the end of the projectile age and is slowly moving into energy weapons with the first photon cannons being mounted on their giant walkers. Their mechanized technology is their pride and joy and never even developed tanks or any pieces of artillery as their primary focus remained on the development of the perfect exosuit for the infantry and perfecting their Shock Mechanized infantry as well as their giant walkers. They also developed energy shielding which is able to take a decent amount of damage from projectile weapons as well as energy weapons before failing. This energy shield technology was first developed for their main battle ships for the navy fleet which is now even equipped onto everything from the Civilian ships all the way down to the Interceptors. The shields were than customized farther into smaller packs that could be carried by individual infantry men with could use their own shields or carry larger generators onto the battlefield whcih allowed them to deploy energy domes which could be used as forward operating bases.

Cultural Overview: The Korwrath people have never really been a massively religious people with only a few religions rising up in the last few millennium that they have been in the galaxy, since than these religions have all since disappeared as the Korwrath strive just for survival and the superiority of their race now. The Korwrath like to think of themselves as a strongly independent people who take pride in their military abilities with all Korwrath youth serving in the military when they come of age with plenty of chances for promotion if they are able to go to officer school on the Capital Ship. The Korwrath could be described by members of other Empires as Isolationists as Diplomats and all members of other Species are only allowed onto the Military Capital ship as that is were the markets and government building are kept and they do this because they are scared of disease spreading through out the fleet and wiping out entire ships of people which has happened in the past when they were more open with different species.

Name of nation: Gigesta Horde
Species: Gigesta-bestia

Gigesta-bestia (I will just say Gigesta) are large, turtle-like creatures that are known for there defensive technology. Gigesta's, being a horde, are known for great defence and offence, but are very slow, with top speeds just over 1 mile per hour. Gigesta stand average at 5.9 feet to 6.5 feet. They also typically weigh in from 500-700 pounds with a bite that is around 5000 psi. That bite can break through most every other creature on there home planet, so for hunting they do not need waste equipment to get the food. Gigesta overall are Bulky attackers who can't run but certainly can bite through most of the competition.
Description of government: Khanate
The Gigesta Horde is ruled over by one Khan. He is the military and diplomatic leader of the empire. Legend says the original Khan was twice the size of the average Gigesta and could bite through anything there enemies through at them. Now, this is not known to be true, but it is a fact that the khan is normally much larger then the average Gigesta's. The 2nd in Command to the Khan is the Shashutleg-akhlagch, or the Religious Leader. The Shash, as most call him, controls Religion and Science. This is because before the Shash controlled Science hundreds of years ago an Atheist revolution occurred in the empire. The Shash's control over Science and Religion mean that most Scientific missions into space are to find proof that there Religion is real.
Description of military:
The military mostly focus on speed and attack power, as already the Gigesta have great defence.



Technological Overview:
Main Tech
The Main Tech of the Horde involves robotics. Simply put, robotics keeps the horde alive. From being there main way to fight wars to being the main way they ship products to being the way they heal the injured robotics carries the horde. Even with this, the recent rise in Cybernetic limbs and organs around the horde has led to worries around there mighty empire.
