Alright guys! It took a while but for those of you still with me, thank you for your patience! This will be were we discuss the RP, our ideas, and finish sculpting this world. I have quite a bit of info to work with and will be creating the world bit by bit. Feel free to discuss and post questions or ideas! What we've already discussed: -High Casual -Extremely distant future setting, post extinction event of the majority of civilization. -Old technology is extremely rare and mysterious to the world's current inhabitants. -The time before is hardly documented and almost treated as mythology -Technology is akin to that of the early 18th century. The basic idea of firearms is common but definitely not perfected. -Prior to the newly conquering empire, the land consisted of mostly massive tribe-like nations with their own customs and traditions. Things have been this way for several hundred years at this point. -- Tribes: Polars- Really more of a nation than a tribe. Not too much is known about them except that they primarily consist of very large humans (consistently 6.5 feet and up in height). They come from the Northern land across the ocean known as Pol. Culturally they seem heavily driven by military might rather than science, preferring to use the technologies and resources of those they conquer rather than perfecting the ability to harvest their own. Often enslave those they conquer. Jotunn: Also known as rock scribes. They are a human tribe best known as master masons and sculptors. Stone is like soft clay under the strength of their arms and the force of their hammer and chisel. The majority of fortresses or otherwise sturdy stone architecture are made by the Jotunn. They were the first conquered group when the Polars arrived on the Northern shores of their land. Many of them were enslaved to build fortresses and the like for the Polar armies. Races: Human- As diverse as a race could possibly be. Best known for adapting and outright harnessing the skills and technologies of other races. With that said, they're not very durable and tend to have health issues in their old age.
