I'm assuming that an eagle would be considered a level 1 summon here? Probably less, correct?

I wasn't sure how your summoning would work considering the speed with which my attack followed my last post. I assumed it would interrupt the summoning, but if not I seriously doubt your actions would be the same considering the proximity.

For future reference, would you prefer me to post this sort of thing in the OOC of our fight Raptorman?

You described the attack as more of an insult than anything else. And I specified that the mere step to the side was not sufficient to break her concentration. It does not say she is unable to defend herself at all when using it, only that she can not use other types of magic and should not be going ham and slashing through things left and right, ect. I also challenge how you say that he had leaped at her before the summons had finished as the new beings appeared just as she had finished her one step to the side.

Like a real fight everything happens simultaneously. This is not a chess board where everyone takes turns. However Melon can you please clarify the attack for me, I have some positional issue with your attack. The attack is well thought out but I need to see the position you are at when you make the slash. Are you on the right or left of the boulder?

He specified at the end of his previous post that his character was watching to see how my character responded, there was no indication that he was moving, in fact it says that he was in the center of the road watching. He should not be able to close the whole distance and attack in the time it took my character to take one step to the side. Also there is the issue that his post ignores the arrows that would be shooting at him and he writes as if the summoning hadn't been completed by the end of his post, which it had. He cut away half of my post and acted as if it never happened

Treat the eagles as tier 1 for now.

Raptor the distance from the road to boulder is not that far and can be covered easily with the speed he has. I suppose the post can be revised to indicate 5 arrows were fired at him. Positionally where he is when he swings at you is important to understand if the strike makes sense.

Remember in T1 if you interrupt an action via a simultaneous action that is logical everything after the interrupt fails to happen and you must adjust accordingly.

My character scuttled forward towards her, taking advantage of the side step (which I assumed was to the left, away from the boulder, as it wasn't obviously stated.) he ran past her right side, slashing across with his stolen sword as he did so, but he came at an angle so he could carry his momentum to the archer further to his left and stab him as well.

The boulder may have intruded upon my post more than I stated, though if required I can revise my post to state my character just climbed over it, which would be incredibly easy for him.

As for when he chose to attack, a gigantic character preparing to step past his thrown projectile is somewhat obvious, he watched for the movement and continued his attack before she had even made the step, considering his speed and the distance that would be more than plausible. There is nothing stopping you from having a moment to react after finishing your side-step, though I don't remember super-human reflexes being one of your character traits.

Err. I´m in a bit off pickle. I inquired upon a few issues I had with my opponent´s latest post, no big ones.. but big enough for me to halt my posting process. My time limit runs out in a few hours, but I´m reliant upon his OOC response before posting. What do I do? I guess I could ask for a ruling to save time, but I feel that´s going past him on something that we can easily sort out between the two of us. Dilemma.

If you are working things out you wont incur a penalty. That is an acceptable reason for missing a post time. If you cannot resolve it I can make a ruling.
