x3 Oh dear! What to do, what to do! I don't know what to do, but Adele thankfully isn't the group's leader, so she gets to be on standby. Not sure how to write my post even so, though. I imagine she's going to be getting a lot of looks since she's supposedly guarding the carriage they likely expect Hemming to step out of.

I think I'll wait for Djonn's orders before I write anything. However, there is potential for a trap here; Rook is infinitely more dangerous than Gaivus Hemming (probably) up close and personal.

I think Marcel to would wait for Djonn, too. Think he'd panic and not be sure about what to do since he's with Hemming. If we're doing the trap thing, he could bulldoze into them afterwards, trying not to hit Rook, but then Gaivus would be by his lonesome. Not that they'd know which was Gaivus.

The situation is a bit of a lemon. All I will say is I will adapt the story to however you choose to play this.

Another thing: Rook's totem would warn him of the situation and he'd know to come out of the carriage, blades drawn, without being told. Just throwing that out there.

The carriage has curtained windows, and parked in the roundabout angled in such a way that Rook would be able to see the front of the building as well as most of the breaking windows. The speaker's voice is loud enough to be intelligible. However, the corners of the buildings are outside Rook's field of view.

Would you all like a battle map? I understand if you would like to have some sort of reference point. My concern would be that it might make this feel like a board game, like there's a certain sequence of moves you have to figure out when it's really not so defined.

Maps are rarely bad things, even if they're just super basic. It'd even help me get a better judge on how far back Marcel and Gaivus' wagon is.

Well, hm, to help out Mr. Dijonn's options, Adele does have her blinding light beam. It takes a few seconds to charge and can backfire if allies are not prepared, but in the case of attack, it would simultaneously blind and light up the crossbow dudes... maybe?

Don't look at this too literally, counting numbers of enemies or trying to figure out how many wagon lengths away this is from that. This is meant to provide a basic layout of roughly where the major pieces are.

Blue: The Wagon, where Marcel, Gaivus, and Gisele are located.

The light blue arrow indicates the direction the wagons are facing.
The red Xs indicate clusters of enemies (note, not necessarily 1:1 ratio between Xs and enemies)

Djonn can be wherever you would like, though I would imagine that he's probably close to the front door.

I might edit in some more information, because Gisele and Gaivus would both would have very strong reactions to this turn of events, reactions Marcel might be forced to deal with before anything else.
