Evelyn - What Doesn't Kill You....will Probably Screw You up Later.
Ev just rolled her eyes and took another drag on her cig in respons to Lisa's comment, laughing to herself with a wisp of smoke escaping from her lips, "Meh, I've been hooked on these since I was fifteen, and I haven't hacked a lung out yet, thank gawd." She muttered flicking a few ashes away. "You know what they say, what doesn't kill you just makes you stronger.....or it just screws you up later I guess." Maybe she should quit while she was in the long run, at least to avoid the supposed complications that came with cigarettes, but...who gave a shit really?
It surprised her to hear the girl speak at first, but even more surprising Saya said her name, and the girl, who was starting to look less and less like a creepy living doll, she was starting to show what Evelyn interpreted with just a simple glance as...real human emotions. Yeah, she didn't smile or anything like that, but her eyes, Evelyn could sense a change in them, a transition from a cold, dead look to something more warm, lively almost. She smiled and chuckled a little at Lisa practically glomping the poor girl. Hell, even a tough chick like her thought the whole damn thing was adorable, and it just showed the kind of girl Lisa was, someone who actually cared about others, even...caring for a soul like Ev's...or lack there of.

Rebecca - Rude to Interrupt
How unfortunate, eventhough she had one worthy thrall entranced by her sensual charms.
So close, so very close Rebecca was to ensnaring yet another beauty, one with such vibrant, shimmering locks of sapphire the woman wished to have her fingers entangled in, and lips, yes...such succulent lips perhaps it would be the joy, no the decadence of the woman to partake of one innocent, tender kiss from, teasing her with that lolipop in her mouth. But yes, she knew she had her. Just looking at the way her frigid, envious emotions had softened into a childlike innocence, how her eyes fell upon the woman with such a joy brimming through her swiftly beating heart, a heartbeat Rebecca could feel and even hear as the blue haired beauty drew close to her, beckoned by her little friend, yet another lovely, Victorica.
A soft smile to the auburn haired cutie at her side, Rebecca untangled one of her arms from her and was ever just so close to slipping it slyly around the other girl(Kat) and pulling her into a warm, gentle embrace, a perfect way to lull her darlings and in such, lowering their defenses....making them all so vulnerable, just how she loved her girls. Ahhh yes....I can feel her essence intertwining with mine, the sumptuous warmth of her blood. I say...why must I continue to taunt myself with such lovely delicacies? I must...I must take them elsewhere....away from this common rabble.
But then...she had to happen. The ghost girl, Rebecca had noted her suspicions, and what a shock it came to the vampire...her spell upon the girl named Kat, having learned of her name from over-hearing it, had been broken...albeit slightly. Gods! I am routed it seems! You are a clever little doll, my dear spirit, but don't think you have the upper hand in this battle of wits. And not too soon, there was Kat confronting her, inquiring of what became of the poor girl's head. Rebecca, in a situation as this, truly she would feel tense, perhaps stutter, if she were not used to such arising from time to time. It wouldn't be the first someone was able to see through her deceptions and accuse her outright of some sort of foul witchery. ~"I know not of what you speak, my dearest?"~ With a rather devious, but charming smirk upon her ruby lips, the woman giggled elegantly in reply, her arms returning to Victorica's side in some protective manner of her. ~"Truly your head feels warm, yes? Perhaps it is just the stuffiness of this room that is making you feel...unwell we should say. Maybe we should retire to the outside, to a breath of cool, fresh air. That would surely lift your spirits, wouldn't it...Kat? Such a cute name. Perhaps I shall call you Kitty Kat <33333"~
And who else to come upon this as well, but a man, a sickly fellow he was, the woman feeling some sort of sympathy for his fragile appearance and how weakly he shuffled over....had it not been for him...rudely interrupting. ~"Pardon me, good sir, but I do believe you are bothering my dear Victorica. Please, if you would be so kindest not to. I wish to have my moment with her still...alone."~

Matthias - Five Aspirin and a Shot of Emnity
He scowled bitterly as his hand reached for his head, practically feeling as though it would split open any moment. The wretched, infernal pain even made him dizzy somewhat and a tad nauseous to his stomach, growling and gurgling like some ferocious beast of Hell in the confines of his flesh. "Goddammit..." The black haired, middle aged teacher groaned while lumbering down the hall, on his way to the nurse's office for more painkillers, and possibly to receive more lip from that apathetic and sorry excuse of an RN the school picked. Just who the hell signed ol' Quincy's contract anyways? The bastard was about as lazy as a drunken sloth and all the fuckwit ever did was nap all fucking day long! Hell, if he was getting paid for that, then why the fuck wasn't Matthias? Muttering to himself, Matt fished around in his long, dark jacket with coattails trailing behind him. From the side pocket he pulled a polished silver flask, untwisting the cap and brining it hastily to his lips. He could feel the burn off the bittersweet alcohol already snaking like venom down his gullet and into his stomach...which probably wasn't the best thing for it since he felt like he was going to kill over any minute now.
"Nurse!", crotchety as ever the art teacher called out in a gruff and bitter voice. "More aspirin you lazy ass. I got a meeting at 7:30 and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna feel like shit, so if you could just-" But once he shambled half drunken and half hung over into Quincy's office, there was not a soul waiting for him. "Son of a bitch...." How could he forget, they were all that ignorant little party the school insisted on throwing the first fucking day. Loosen up the students they said. Let them have fun. Fun?! Bah! School wasn't supposed to be fun, and if it wasn't in the prospect of losing his job, Matthias would have surely given an earful to the principal how much he despised the prospect of a party the first day of school, when really the students needed to be thrust into their classes the first day and introduced in that manner, not some pissy gathering! In fact, he might just gripe the principal out anyways.
"Ugh...if I don't get some aspirin or even a damn Novocaine shot, I think my head will just crack like a fucking egg... Where the hell is that lazy son of a bitch?"
He continued down the hall towards the reception room, where this infernal racket was emanating from and fraying his already tense and frazzled nerves. Swinging open the door, not one idiot was awaiting Matthias...but two, the eccentric dimwit known as Angela. "Oh God, Satan, Zeus, and Thor. What the fuck are you doing here? I had hope you're actually doing your job and not pulling any more fuck-ups for the principal to take care of.", with sharp, glaring emerald eyes cut towards the woman he snapped like the bitter drunk he was, already seeming to reek of booze despite only having a few drinks, but...maybe that wasn't him he thought suspiciously eyeing the woman and the stupid nurse. "Napping as always. Typical of you, Quincy. Now where the hell are your painkillers? I got a splitting headache and this...music...is only making it worse." Groaning all the more he grabbed his head, gritting his teeth.
