Morning everyone! I hate to be the rude one here, but why are we letting this new guy in? As far as I've looked back, he didn't announce himself in the OOC first, he just stuffed a character in the Character Section. It very specifically states in the rules that you need to post a character in the OOC first before its accepted. It takes two seconds to read the rules and this guy very obviously didn't.Don't worry about being rude. It was an oversight on my part that I don't intend of repeating. After a while of looking at casual OOC's you tend to notice a trend that most people use when making the rules. I assumed, and you know what they say about assuming. Not only that, but I made a poor decision in my haste to start roleplaying and wrongfully assumed that all the character sheets went into the character tab. Although, this was partly because I've seen some GMs have people send in character sheets through the interest check, PM, and even e-mail. I still admit, this is mostly my fault. I am truly sorry.
Also for the new guy, don't worry about it because I didn't know this recently myself. Bo is either Japanese or Chinese for staff, I can't remember which one. So saying bo-staff is redundant. ^ ^Many, many people before me have made the very same mistake, and that's mostly why people call it bo-staff instead of just bo. It's kind of like how language evolves. The most-used way of meaning it or saying it is the most accepted way and it soon turns into what people use more than it's original meaning or way of saying. I'll try to refer to it as bo from now on, though.
Bo is in Japanese. Alternatively, it's joong bong in Korean, and kon in Chinese. I know there was another way to say it in Japanese, but I think it's just another dilect thing.Ah, thank you! The style of martial arts I take is a mix of Japanese and Chinese so I couldn't remember which it is. Oh and Broby, I've been roleplaying for a long time and I can see where you're coming from on this. Misunderstanding and assumptions definitely do get the better of everybody. Yeah I'm a martial artist and I only learned that recently. I use odd weapons all the time for my characters, here's an easy to call it by its technical name and still have people understand what it. He also carried a tessen, or bladed fan.

A lazy trap sick person? XDI was thinking a lazy, dying, trap that berserked, but instead of murdering people he heals them...My brain hurts.
Sorry for taking so long to make a post, im stupid i knowIt's okay Life you were really not feeling wells!! You needed your rest! -hugs-
