2015, London, Great Britain. The "Final Nights" of the descendants of Caine loom over the world, though one would not know it when looking upon the night life of this modern metropolis. Kindred of all kinds and ages roam the darkness, with no end of choice Kine to satiate The Thirst, few predators or enemies to fear on the streets, and a stable and respected leadership in the Camarilla overseeing affairs through the Prince and his Council of Primogen. The city is a model of stable Cainite society, which the Camarilla has held almost uncontested since before the Glorious Revolution. But nothing lasts forever, often not even Vampires, and neither did this situation... One night, a week before the start of Autumn, the Sheriff of London, Jeremiah Drummond, arrived late to his Prince's dinner party celebrating the 400th year since Haley Montismard, a close associate and ally of his in Clan Toreador, had been embraced. Unlike previous occasions, where parties were held in the Prince's personal haven, or in those of one of his Primogen, Haley had insisted that the event take place within Big Ben, that she may see the precise second she turned 400 years old. Confident in his power, and that of his elder guests, The Prince obliged the request. As the Sheriff approached the iconic clocktower, close to midnight, a massive fireball engulfed the tower as an explosion raked it. In shock and disbelief, Jeremiah could do nothing as his lord and all in attendance within the tower were turned to ash, the leader of the Camarilla in London and most of his close friends and allies snuffed out in an instant. London's fire department rushed to the scene, dousing the flames, while the police and city officials called it a terror attack by the increasingly desperate ISIS militants, and London trembled with suspicion and fear. This demeanour was mirrored in the night as the Kindred were abuzz with rumour and fear trying to guess at the truth, many demanding justice for the crime from the surviving Primogen. A throne in interregnum, a city gripped by fear, and potentially more Kindred unlives at risk from an as yet unknown enemy, the Inner Circle appoints a Justicar to the situation, who has yet to publically make an appearance in London, though their reputation casts a wide shadow. But she is more prudent than some Justicars, and feels that this situation may require some unorthodox methods in order to discover the truth, protect the Masquerade, and restore Camarilla rule to London's Kindred... This is where you guys come in, you are all Vampires, Humans, or Werewolves in and around London eking out an existence as this hell storm brews. Each of you have your own stake in the outcome of the investigation and days to come, even if they want no part of it. I'll admit, this is the first RP I've really attempted as a GM, but the interest has been great enough in helping steer this that I feel we have a good solid foundation to proceed from. I don't expect much, since this is casual, but I do expect a few things from you guys. Here are the simple rules: 1:No God moding (Although this game involves supernatural elements, you are still not a walking god. Always play according to what your character is) 2:No forcing actions onto other players or their characters unless agreed upon mutually. 3:OOC Talk stays in the OOC or Interest check section (preferably OOC) 4:Be respectful to other players, as they are expected to be respectful to you. 5:No spam or griefing on any sections of the RP. If so, what's their relationship with them. ex. Joe Schmo (Personal Enemy). Be as detailed as you wish) (Hunters Only) Creed: Group (If any? Could be a real sect of the Inquisition or another Hunter group, or a made up one.): Years served as a Hunter: Speciality(if any): Edges:(Similar to Vampiric Disciplines, except these will most likely not be supernatural traits, more likely superhuman if anything.) Morality: (Are you like most Hunters, a radical zealot who seeks the destruction of all creatures of darkness no matter the cost? Or are you a radical among radicals and believe that not all are inherently evil?) Relative Knowledge of the Supernatural:(Kind of a loaded question, since most Hunters although they know more than the average person, technically don't know more than the average fiction reader. However there are differences, some could be fully aware that Kindred exist, but not werewolves for example. It varies on experience and connections.) (Kindred Only) Clan: (Note that Caitiff, or Clanless, is also an option) Embraced:(Year they became a Vampire) Generation:(FYI and it should be self-explanatory but for those who don't know, NO ANTEDILUVIANS OR CAINE WANNABES! Name: (Born) Irma, (as of the 18th century) Lady Avis Sex: Female Date of Birth: 1699
Species: Kindred Background/Occupation: None Residence: Walled Off Country Estate Personal Possessions: Usually keeps two blades (long since rusted) somewhere on her person, a Virginal Harpsicord (given to her from Aristide on an anniversary of their meeting) Backstory: They met as freshly turned childer. She was a former maid turned Gangrel, whose sire was executed for an attempt at the Prince’s life, while Aristide’s own sire was exiled for aiding such a plot. For a long time they were together. Aristide slowly climbing the ranks with Irma’s support, though she had little interest in politics or figures of power, she wanted him to succeed as best he could…they were always together, as he finely honed his charm, and she sharpened her blades. When he did gain some favour and power with the prince of the time, he had her change her name, as for some reason…finding less elegant in his head. She changed her name on her anniversary of her turning to Avis, just for him. In the end, the only time they were truly separated ended with his confirmed death in 1836, a few days short of a year he set out to find his exiled sire (now of regained ranked, working for a prince of another country and city) and subsequently was assumed missing. Falling mad with grief…she soon ended up in a mental time loop, from year before death to the day after, over and over again. Initially taken care of by some friends, when it became apparent that any attempt to break her out of her mental loop ended up in a bad frenzy, she was instead given into the care of whoever’d take her…which is why a certain Malkavian’s ghoul lackey is now watching her, though in her head she thinks it’s one of Aristide’s from back in the day. ***Character Sheet WIP-Will post in Characters Section of Thread*** Name: Johnny Anders Sex: Male Date of Birth: 15.07.1990, 25 Years Old Image/Description: 178 cm height, well built white male. He has short black hair and brown eyes. Has strong arms.(WIP) Species: Human Background/Occupation: Working in Office(WIP), Hunter Residence: Standard apartment, living with his girlfriend in university. Personal Possessions: I don't know what to write about it. His apartment? Car? His weapons and other stuff? Backstory: Johnny was born in 1990. He had a good family, and grew up with his elder sister. He graduated high school normally and get in University(WIP Part). After High School, he became a prepper. He took Krav-Maga courses and started buying things and prepping for economic/social collapse and other disasters. He was normal guy who is interested in politics, history and other stuff. He tried to be literated. He was sarcastic, cold blooded, smart individual. He still is, but... At the age of 20, he was at woods at Nottingham, visiting his cousins. He wanted to go forest to have a real camping experience. After the camp, he started hearing voices. "You... Must..." At that night, he had dark nightmares. He was waking up multiple times in the nightmare, and never achive to wake up truly. Everything was normal in that room, he couldn't speak and couldn't feel his limbs. Just walking, jumping without a single feel. Trying to wake up-impossible. Then, he reached to floor. He saw bathroom door was open, and the light was on. But he knew it was closed before everyone fell asleep. He decided to face with it, he started hearing voices in the nightmare. "You must... You must do it... You have to join them... You have to do it... You must... Or... You will suffer... You have to do it... Or you will suffer... You can't save yourself..." He saw shadows moving in bathroom while hearing these voices. Then, shadows changed. They started killing each other. "You can save only one... Only one... But you still... Still have to do it... Hear us... Hear us... Join them..." Then he woke up. His perception of realith have changed because of nightmare. He wasn't sure if he was awake or not. He knew there was something. Something was making him go outside. He grabbed his unlicensed pistol, and get out of the house. He started walking to forest, he walked for hours. He saw some figures from hell, attacking another figure from hell. It couldn't be real, these were monsters. These were not human, what were they? Ghoul? Vampires? Demons? They were attacking each other, all of them were different creature. Johnny shoot them, he could save only one. He made his desicion, he saved the one with pale skin. He was going to learn, it was a vampire. The others died. Then... He woke up. He was going to learn what happened was real, he was going to learn shadows in the bathroom were real. His reality have changed, and he joined them. He was a hunter now. After that, he learned many things, he kept doing it. He worked with different hunters. He worked alone. But he had no choise: He had to do it. Or, he was going to suffer. He was suffering, the reality was a thin ice for him. He always made reality checks after that, even in normal life. His dreams were hunting him. Then, he met with her. His love, the only one can help him to become normal and not being complete lunatic. Otherwise, Johnny knew, he was going to be totally lunatic. His girlfriend, Jessica, is university student now and living with Johnny. Personal affiliations: The Brujah he saved at Nottingham. WIP

Just a quick edit here guys, I'm gonna add in a section in the templates for Hunter apps, seeing as I realized how varied they could be. For those who don't know, you don't need to be a Hunter if you are playing as a Human, they are probably just one of the easier Human characters to play as in this RP. Srry for the complications, hellrazor, lol.

According to the wiki, many hunters work either solo or in small cells, sometimes dedicating themselves to fighting all creatures of darkness, or specializing in particular ones. Larger groups, called compacts and conspiracies (Like the modern day Inquisition, The Society of Leopold) which wield global reach and influence at their disposal. Some hunters are indiscriminate in what creatures they kill, viewing all with equal disdain, other rarer groups offer forms of redemption or penance, as they do not view ALL creatures of darkness as inherently evil. I feel the need to point out that Hunter the Vigil is nWoD (new World of Darkness), and part of a later edition of the setting than Vampire the Masquerade, which classic or old World of Darkness (oWoD). Creatures -vampires, werewolves, etc. from the nWoD are less powerful (at least starting out) than those found in oWoD. The nWoD was also designed so you could easily do a mixed campaign, where classic WoD was less compatible to some extent. I'm not trying to tell you how to run your game nor am I saying you can't use some of the background info from Hunter the Vigil, and if you want Hunters to be normal humans in your game that's cool too. After all, it's your game =P Personally, I prefer it that way, especially since I am more versed in the nWoD. Like I said, I just felt the need to point this out. Info on the Hunters made for the classic setting can be found here.

Thx. Again, I'm most well-versed with Vampires from Bloodlines, Werewolves and Hunters aren't my forte. So I'm always up for criticism. I have changed the Hunter section accordingly.

His life was that of rigorous study and education. It was his unlife where his story became interesting. Sired by a Ventrue Cainite, Alastair became a hauntingly perfect man at the english courts. Well read, graceful, and the odd touch of a dominating presence made Alistair a quick ally and a quicker enemy to many. This predicament lead him to become something of a Casanova scam artist and blackmailer in the english courts. Constantly reimagining himself deep into the early 1900's, Alastair become cocky and brash in his flaunting of the Masquerade. This led to the Samire family to fall into disrepair after Alistair was caught in a web of his own lies. His damned nature apparent to the courts, Alastair hid from world and under the cover of a hunt to kill him, fell into a Torpor for just under a century. After the Torpor fell away and Alastair rose from a crumbling ruin of the Samire family church, the only thing left was a glinting silver cross. Alistair took the name Krim and built his little Elysium with his Ventrue "skills", giving a place to feed for any and all that pledge allegiance to the Camarilla and uphold The Masquerade Personal affiliations: As an owner of a Camarilla affiliated Elysium, Alastair knows most Camarilla in the area. I think you look good, Musoka glad to see some people haven't completely dropped interest in this. I'm still working on essays so my observations for this week will be limited, but I am checking. Feel free to post yours up in Characters, Musoka. Same goes for KARASOTH, if he sees this
