Liz loved her job. She honestly couldn't image doing anything else. She had an interest in the medical field as long as she could remember. She loved helping people. Especially children. Which was why she worked in the long term care ward. Those children needed her sa much as she needed them. She hurried through the building to check in for the morning shift.

Shane blinks open his eyes slowly, looking around at the familiar white walls of the hospital room that he stays in. He stretches his arms, muscles crackling all the way up to his shoulders. He pushes himself up into a sitting position, pulling his wheelchair closer. He gently grabs it and, going in a motion he has done a thousand times before, quickly sits down in the wheelchair. He grips the wheels and rolls them forward, spinning them toward the door. He rolls over to it, opens the door, and rolls out into the hallway.

Autumn lay on her bed, a player next to her playing classical music. Her sightless eyes were closed and she hummed softly. While her world was dark now, when she listened to music and closed her eyes it was like she could see in color again. See the rhythm of the notes, see the different tones as they flowed together. When her eyes were open it was hard to imagine the colors but when she was in the silence of her room, the music being the only thing in her world, the colors became alive to her once more. Slender fingers tapped along with the beat, clasped together over her stomach. Her silver hair was splayed out around her head in a halo, her bangs falling softly over her eyes. After the song ended Autumn stood to her feet and headed for the door. When she had first arrived, she had taken time to memorize the number of steps it took her to get places. Though she needed assistance in most areas. She mostly needed help getting to a room but once in the room and if she was familiar with the layout she was able to get around unaided. She reached her door and gently turned the knob, opening the door and listening closely before she took a few steps outside her room. She then paused before reaching a hand out and placing it against the wall. She then began heading down the hall, counting in her head as she went.

Cece Bulgarelli hurried out her house, checking her watch most of the time. She was new to the whole nurse job, so she needed to land a perfect attitude. She had her uniform stuffed in her purse, since she had no time whatsoever to eat breakfast or change into her uniform. She had to straightened her hair a little when she was in the bus. Cece looked at her watch again, she still had some time.

"Please, let me make it in time..."

Cece begged as she nervously wait for her stop to come. As to what felt like hours, the bus arrived to Cece's work place. She yelled thank you to the bus driver and hurried out of there. She dashed for the hospital grounds, rushing inside. "I...M-Made it.." Relived, she entered the bathroom, changing into her uniform. A shirt that printed the hospitals name and some comfortable pants. Walking out the bathroom, she sighed. Heading towards the schedules.

"Good morning Cece. Looks like your with me today." Liz said with a smile. "You'll like the kids. Their a good group." she was very curious about the new nurse. Liz was a shy person but her job helped her overcome some of that. She loved showing new nurses the ropes. She enjoyed helping someone in anyway she could.

Lula sat on her bed replacing the bandages around her hands and arms that she had put on there the day before to prevent any new cuts and scrapes from forming as she did on a regular basis, and after she fixed the bandages in place put on her gloves to cover the bandages on her hands. When she finished Lula stood up slowly and opened her door up and walked out the door and started towards the break room to se if she could swipe a sweet from there.

Michelle was staring out the window since she woke up, this is what she does every morning, and every night as well. She wanted to see the outside world, but her condition could get worse if she moved around a lot, the damage was permanent after all. She then looked towards a novel that she was reading, named Last Soul. It was about a girl who could identify if there were a soul in somebody, but it was figured out that she was the last one who actually had a soul in her world. Michelle then started to get up slowly, trying not to harm herself, she started to pace towards the door. She looked around for a nurse, since she could be careless at times and do more damage to her heart. She noticed the other teens walking out of their rooms, her eyes wandering around left and right.

"Ah! Good morning!" Cece replied, turning around to face Liz. Upon hearing Liz's response she was pretty excited. Her first job and she's already making a buddy. She was glad someone was at least showing her around here, good thing Liz came in time before Cece would've ended up some place else. "You'll like the kids. Their a good group." "I'm looking forward for this, hopefully I wont mess up, haha." Cece responded with a big goofy smile on her face.

Danni lies on her bed as she tiredly looks up at the ceiling, too comfy to get up just yet. She looked to her side at the breathing machine that her oxygen mask was connected to, helping her breathe. Eventually she takes a deep breathe before sitting up, and then dozing off. This is how she usually wakes up, just sitting there as she dozes off thinking about whatever. After awhile she rubs her eye and brings herself to sit at the side of the bed. She looked to the nightstand where her portable breathing machine, then grabbing it and setting it on her lap. She took another deep breath before quickly switching over machines; by now she knew how to do so on her own. After properly switching to the portable breathing machine as her supporter, she stands up as she puts the machine in her usual bag made for it and puts the strap over her shoulder. Finally she makes her way to the door and goes out into the hall; it seemed like other people were just getting out of their rooms as well.

Shane rolls out into the hallway and immediately sees Liz and Cece. He smiles at them and moves his wheelchair over to them. He looks up at Liz and says, "Hiya Liz!" He looks over at the new nurse. "Who is this? A new nurse?" He smiles at her. "Hello. My name is Shane. At least, that's what everyone tells me it is."

"Speaking of the pack here is one of them now. Good morning Shane. Shane this is CeCe. She is new. Cece this here is Shane our local amnesia patient. He doesn't remember his life before he woke up here at the hospital."

Autumn was walking down the hall when she heard voices. She recognized two of them as being Shane and Liz but she was not familiar with the third one. Curious, she headed towards where the sounds were originating from. She stepped into the room, turning her head this way and that trying to pinpoint where exactly in the room they were. "Liz? Shane?" She called out from her place beside the wall, hand still resting gently on it from when she had come in.

Shane turns around and says, "Hello Autumn. We're over here!" He rolls toward her and takes her hand gently. He guides her toward Liz and the new nurse. He makes sure to roll his wheelchair slowly.

Autumn smiled slightly when she heard the wheels of Shane's wheelchair rolling towards her. She felt him gently taking her hand and guiding her over to Liz and the person she doesn't know. She wondered if it was a new nurse or maybe a new patient. She followed after Shane, eventually coming to a stop next to Liz.

"Don't worry. I won't let you messup. Once you learn the routine things will be easy. The kids are teal sweeties."

"Thanks! It's great knowing someone is there to help me, haha." Cece said, scratching the back of her head. Right when she was about to ask a question a person she hasn't seen came up to them and spoke.

"Who is this? A new nurse? Hello. My name is Shane. At least, that's what everyone tells me it is."

"Nice to meet you Shane!" Cece said with excitement, she was about to introduce herself, Liz spoke for her. "Yup! I'm Cece. Cece Bulgarelli."

Danni was walking down the hall before she stopped and turned towards Michelle who had just tapped her on the shoulder and greeted her. Seeing Michelle's bright smile, Danni gives a small smile back as she waves to her, "Heya," she said through her oxygen mask. When she talks through her mask it can sound just a little muffled, but the majority of the time she is understandable.

"How are you? Besides that breathing problem of course." Michelle asked remaining to have a smile, she was shorter than Danni due to her being a midget and all. She brought her hand down from waving.

"And here is the rest of our little group." Liz said proudly. She cared for the kids like they were her own.which probably wasn't wise but it was just the kind of person she was. "Gang day hello to Cece."

Lula had made it to the break room and found a muffin in one of the cabinets"it's better than nothing" she said before walking out of the room and heading towards the main area where the schedule for the nurses was. When she got there Lula looked around and saw Shane and Autumn talking to nurse Liz and a new person so she waved and started walking over to them giving what she hoped was a friendly smile.
