[IC] City Comes to the Country (Tyler Night and Whitelily)

[Tyler Night]

He laughs.

"Trust me, it is more than just ramen and eggs. I can make ramen a meal. With egg drop ramen I take the cheap 25 or 33 cent packages of ramen or the cup ramen, cook it only partially then stir fry it with the eggs, like egg fried rice but instead of rice it is the ramen."

He smiles and eats his food, sighing.

"Yeah, that hits the spot. But with that ramen, toss in lobster or red Argentine shrimp and green onions, maybe bean sprouts and it always gets soy sauce and sometimes teriyaki or general Tso's sauce."

"You cannot possibly be so good at everything!"

Ele said, shaking her head and taking a few bites of her food.

"It feels like you're perfect. Perfect job doing what you love, perfect friends with perfect lives, perfect house, perfect everything."

She looked back up at Tyler and raised an eyebrow at him before shaking her head,

"Except the dragons, those are not perfect."

[Tyler Night]

"Not such a perfect life, I have back problems and no kids or a wife yet."

He chuckles and eats more of the food.

"What, you don't like dragons or something?"

He pops a piece of lobster in his mouth chewing while smiling at her.

"Well number one, they're a 90's fashion throwback that should have died. And number two, double the dragons does not mean double the awesome, especially on a full grown man. Just some advice, friend to friend."

Ele shook her head and reached over to pluck at the sleeve of Tyler's shirt. His clothes fitted well, but the city chic, fashion conscious Ele wanted to raid Tyler's closet and give him a complete overhaul.

"And you don't have to have a family to have a perfect life."

[Tyler Night]

"Well, I'm an 80's baby so I still wish it was the 90's."

He laughs.

"But I definitely want a family. I start a family, get an orchard going and have enough money to retire on, that would be perfect."

He takes a bite of his food and suddenly stands up.

"I forgot the coffee."

He walks over to the fridge, grabbing out some Bailey's caramel creamer. He pours the creamer and coffee together for a few seconds. He stops pouring the creamer but keeps the coffee going. The coffee filling to the top.

"How do you want your coffee?"

"With milk and sugar, please."

Ele said, going over to stand next to Tyler. When her cup was ready, Ele accepted gratefully and wrapped her hands around the mug to warm her fingers. Setting the mug down for a moment, Ele found a clear spot on the counter and hopped up to sit there. She grinned when she realized she was almost eye to eye with Tyler.

He begins making the coffee just as she likes, calling out to her when it was ready. When she walks over and sits on the counter he smiles at her before he takes a sip of his coffee.

"I tend to go heavy on the creamer, comes out more like a cappucino. I usually have 2 to 5 different creamers on hand so I have a choice."

He takes another sip of his coffee, standing in front of her.

"If I'm drinking just coffee, then milk and sugar are my preferred mixes. If I'm going drive thru, then it's all about the vanilla chai latte!"

She smiled, sipping the hot coffee and nodding. This is definitely what she needed to perk herself up and get in a good mood.

"So what's the plan for today, besides the water park?"

Ele asked, swinging her legs.

[Tyler Night]

"Not much else. It is supposed to hit almost 60 today, the snow storm yesterday was truly a freak occurrence. But if you feel the need, there is a casino where we are going with 25 tables and over 4,500 slot machines ranging from nickle slots on up to 100 dollar plays."

He sips more of his coffee.

"They have a nice little restaurant there called the Siniikaung and Firefly. Firefly is a suit and tie recommended type restaurant, like 4 star. Siniikaung is a casual fine dining."

Taking another drink of his coffee he smiles.

"Lots of stuff to do there for sure."

Ele nodded as she listened to Tyler describe the casino. It seemed like a fun place,

"Well, I don't gamble."

Ele said then sipped her coffee again.

"But the food and water park will be fun. I don't want to take up too much time, since I know I should be working on the model design."

[Tyler Night]

"It has been like a decade since I gambled myself. Place is still fun whether you gamble or not."

He finishes off his coffee and smiles.

"So...You ready to experience over 2,000 horsepower of street breaking fury?"

He smirks and puts his coffee cup in the sink.

"Let's do this!"

Ele said with a smile, hopping off the counter and putting her cup in the sink and going back out to the cars. She felt better today, sleep and showering definitely helping her head injury and making Ele feel more like her regular self.

[Tyler Night]

Tyler grabs his keys and walks out of the house. He walks to the garage and to the camaro.

"Better wait outside the garage for this, it has a pair of cherry bomb mufflers that exit in front of the rear tires. It gets seriously loud."

He hops in the camaro and waits for her to get outside the garage. He goes through a few steps to get ready to fire the car up. Getting through them all he turns the key on it and holds it firing it up quickly. The car firing sounding like an explosion, afterwards though the car just rumbles with a low growl and a whine. He steps out and around to the passenger side, opening the door.

"Roll cage and a racing harness. I will help you get all settled in."

The Camaro was loud and Ele stepped a few more feet away from the noise, but when Tyler opened the door for her, Ele smiled and slid it. Shaking her head at Tyler's offer to help her get settled, Ele began buckling herself in,

"No touching. Just tell me if I do something wrong and how to fix it."

She said. It wasn't hard to figure out how to do a racing harness, it was pretty self explanatory and Ele was soon buckled in and tightening the straps.

[Tyler Night]

He checks the harness and nods.

"You got it. You would be amazed by the amount of people that have gotten in this car before when I have taken it to races and they completely flubbed it with strapping it down."

He walks around to his side, strapping himself in and pulling the straps down tight. He shifts into reverse, backing straight out. He pulls out of the yard and gets on the road, giving it some extra gas the car chirps the tires and takes off. He smiles at her.

"Car is fun for sure."

Ele laughed as the accelerated down the road, the car rumbling powerfully under her. She couldn't help but think that this car would be very fun to drive.

Looking at Tyler with a big smile on her face, Ele giggled,

"That's an understatement! This is awesome!"

[Tyler Night]

"I will show you something extremely fun but Highly illegal."

He drives up past the corner of the next road and comes to a complete stop. He pulls the emergency brake and starts giving it gas. Bringing the rpm's of the engine up to redline he slams the parking brake down and launches the car, wheels up for a couple hundred feet before touching down. He gets off the gas and coasts down to 55 about a half mile before reaching a long stretch of s curves.

"This car should be able to run the quarter mile in the mid 6 second range. We'll know in a month or so."

He continues driving with a smile, enjoying the ride.

The feeling of being in the air made Ele squeak and laugh, holding tightly to the harness for support. When they were back to cruising, Ele couldn't help the big smile on her face as she settled in for the ride,

"What do you mean in a month or so?"

She asked, leaning back in the seat.

"The racing season starts in about a month, may need to road trip with it to get to a drag strip."

He exits the curves and rolls uphill to the corner turning right.

"there is a nice fishing spot right up here."

"I have never fished in my life."

Ele admitted, shrugging and looking out the window,

"Fishing in the park ponds is generally frowned upon in the city. Besides the fact that the fish are mutants."
