[IC] City Comes to the Country (Tyler Night and Whitelily)

[Tyler Night]

"I am gonna go get the boat ready."

He says going out to one of his out buildings. He drags out a 16 foot v hull flat bottom boat with a strange looking engine on the back. He grabs a wooden trailer, loading the boat tightly into it. He drags it over to the driveway getting it attached to his camaro. He walks back into the house, grabbing his safety suit for the race and some things for the fishing trip.

"Hey hun, you ready?"

Hurrying out of the bedroom, Ele had the sweatshirt tied around her waist and swung her duffel bag over her shoulder. While Tyler had been getting the boat ready, Ele had packed the leftover meat from brunch, as well as some protein bars, water, and other things.

"Yup! Let's get going!"

[Tyler Night]

"Alright, gotta grab the fishing poles and tackle box."

He says walking out carrying a bunch of gear. He starts stuffing everything in the trunk of the camaro then grabs the fishing gear. He grabs 2 7'6" rods and a couple reels as well as a tackle box. He sticks them under the seat of the boat. He chains down the boat and walks around to the car, hopping in and taking off.

"Alright, lets get those licenses."

He says, firing the car up and taking off with the boat. He drives up to the ACE Hardware store and parks it out away from the store and hops out, heading in.

Following Tyler into the ACE, Ele hung back as he did what he needed to do. It was still a strange feeling, getting to know what would be her new life. It was a whole different way of life out here, slower, and more traditional, but Ele didn't mind it as much as she thought she would.

He buys 2 unlimited licenses for them, handing over his ID as he starts filling out his.

"Gotta give them your ID, I told them you will be moving out here soon so you can get it as a resident instead of out of state."

He says, finishing the signing on his license.

Nodding, Ele pulled her wallet from her back pocket and handed over her ID. As she filled out her information, Ele looked down at the address line and she smiled as she filled out Tyler's home address,

"And they believed you? Just like that? How very trusting!"

Ele said with a smile, signing her license and getting her ID back.

[Tyler Night]

"Yup."

He smiles, folding up his license he adds it to his wallet.

"Think 54 bucks for 2 is better than 84."

He says with a chuckle, heading back out to the car.

"True story!"

Ele said, folding up her own license and putting it in her wallet. Back in the car, Ele put her hand on Tyler's thigh again, settling into her seat even as she was harnessed in.

He takes off once again.

"Long trip ahead of us, no stop for like 35 miles."

He turns onto the main road.

"Oh wait, just realized, 1 stop then no stops."

He drives for 8 miles before coming up to the 1 stop then rolling through, gets on the long trip.

"Do you want to spend tonight at the resort?"

Ele asked a couple minutes into their drive, tracing circles on Tyler's leg,

"I have to take the SUV back to the rental company at the airport, and my flight leaves at 2 pm. I'll be back on Friday at 4 pm."

[Tyler Night]

"We can do that."

He says with a smile. Continuing their drive they pass through heavy forest for quite some time, arriving in a medium sized town he says.

"Just 5 more miles until we are at the lake."

"I'm going to miss you,"

Ele said quietly, watching the forest and town go by.

"But I'm also kind of afraid."

[Tyler Night]

"I am gonna miss you too but it will be less than a week."

He says to her reassuringly, continuing through town.

"Well, just keep in mind. You got some training with kickboxing and muay thai, if anything happens you can put that to use."

He drives into a small village with 2 stores, off in the distance the bay can be seen stretching out before them, looking like an ocean.

"There is the bay."

He says driving by and into the countryside once again. Coming up to a bridge he turns right just before it and drives down a side road. Winding around several corners they finally come up to the boat launch.

"And there is the launch."

Biting her lip, Ele shook her head, not paying attention to the bay, however beautiful it was. Looking at Tyler, her eyes wide and fearful, Ele took a deep breath,

"It's not mom, well, mom is part of it but not the part I'm talking about..."

Ele reached up and put her hand on Tyler's cheek,

"What if I go back to the city and can't leave again? What if I leave and we realize this was all just a crazy, wild fling and we breakup? What if I leave and you remember you like being a bachelor and having the house to yourself with no girlfriend to steal your clothes, or force you to watch her TV shows, or steal all the hot water?"

[Tyler Night]

"You can leave at any time babe, if you want your best friend to be around, she can stay with us if you want her to. This is not just a fling, we won't break up. Being a bachelor has been fun but being in a relationship is so much better. You look good in my clothes and if you are worried about using all the hot water we can share."

He says with a sly smile at her.

"I won't get tired of you, you know that."

Still looking uncertain, Ele nodded but her gaze and hand dropped to her lap,

"I love you."

She whispered, her voice shaking with those three tiny, yet massive words.

"I love you too, we will last. I promise you that."

He kisses her softly and rubs her back.

"Come on, we have a day of fun ahead of us."

He parks the car and shuts it off.

Nodding Ele pushed navk her insecurity, taking comfort in Tyler's surety of their relationship, regardless of its crazy pace

"Babe... Can you kiss me again, but..."

Ele searched for the right word,

"More?"

Chuckling he kisses her again but for longer.

"Alright, now are you ready or do you want another?"

It was Ele's turn to give a sly smile,

"I'll always take another... Maybe on different parts of my body."
