Now, Poly, I'm definitely NOT suggesting that there absolutely, positively has to be a badass mother*ckin' kaiju erupting out of Fuji-san and devastating everything in its path. Definitely not.

I like the idea so much, actually, that I've adjusted my planned plot to accommodate that. Hope Terrence is okay with being at ground zero.

He'll be more than happy to be there. And by the way, isn't Ueda the governor of Satake?

You have a good eye, Bing, Norihisa Satake is indeed the body double for Ueda. I wanted someone with that "Dignified elder statesman" look and he fit the bill.

How did you ever think of him? Just asking, are you Japanese? After doing some research, is this going to be a slight remake of Godzilla vs. Megalon?

I am not Japanese, not by a long shot. I just happen to have a professional interest in international business, and that particular governor has been pushing for foreign investment in his constituency, so his name has become known to me. And yes, this does draw some inspiration from Godzilla vs. Megalon (the first kaiju movie I ever saw). Think of it as an expanded version.

Ooh. Btw, one of the main featuree of Godzilla 2014 was that Godzilla didn't appear that much. The looming dread and just waiting for that massive form to appear was what enhanced Godzilla's 'badassery' when he did appear. I'm assuming this isn't supposed to have an exciting explosiony Mikey Bay Transformers or a Pacific Rim feel. Dark and human-centered you said. I'd really love in this RP for it to build up, so that we get an amazingly satisfying end result when we see them.

Yeah, I like the thought of kaiju as being something like a force of nature, like an earthquake or hurricane. Yeah, they'll be a major part but I like the idea of dealing more with the rubble and fires in their wake then the creatures themselves.

Just to avoid confusion: Megalon is attacking Osaka Gigan is in Kobe Ebirah is working on destroying the world's longest bridge Hedorah is headed for Sapporo Kamoebas and Oodako are attacking shipping off the coasts Titanosaurus is in Fukuoka The Kamacuras are headed for Kumamoto Gezora is busy leveling Naha Gaira is attacking Okayama Kumonga is headed for Shizuoka Manda is destroying Matsuyama And lastly, Dogora has emerged from Mount Fuji and is making its way towards Nagoya. Most of these guys have been beefed up in size and prowess to fit better with the Legendary Godzilla. This was exhausting to write but a lot of fun.

I'm very sorry. I'm currently working on something for school and that prevented me from doing anything else on my computer. I'm still interested in this RP but I don't know when i'm gonna be able to post my character.
