I said on another RP that I don't have the time for another Casual RP just now, and it's still the truth. However, I've decided that the idea I have now is, well, too awesome not to implement, and that Nation RPs are slower than even Casual RPs anyway, and, finally, I plan to have help in this, quite a bit of help. So...
The Elder Scrolls: Aftermath of Skyrim - an Role Play/Nation RP Hybrid
Miraak and Alduin have been defeated, and Skyrim, nay, the world, is safe. The Dragonborn, after scoring his greatest triumphs, finally retired from his profession as an adventurer, vanishing into legend and tale...and leaving behind a Civil War in Skyrim that still takes lives, and shows no sign of abating. The Empire of Tamriel continues to fight against the Stormcloak Rebellion, each believing that they are the ones in the right; the Empire, under General Tullius, due to valuing unity, and the Stormcloaks, under Ulfric Stormcloak, valuing independence. Each side is bitter from years of conflict, each side rendered morally grey and jaded by the bloodshed among brothers and the division among kin. And so, Skyrim knows no peace.
But it is not unique in Tamriel, for all the land knows discord and disorder. In Elswyr, the Khajiit find themselves chafing under Thalmor domination, no longer looking on the Elves as saviors. In Hammerfell, which has defeated the Thalmor by itself without help from the Empire, the Crown and Forebear factions are at an uneasy peace, while the Thalmor wait for a second chance with acquisitive eyes.
In Argonia, the An-Xileel stay neutral in the Cold War between the Empire and Thalmor, while in High Rock, the petty kings of Bretony either make war with each other, or watch for opportunities to secede from the Empire formally, although they have to watch for hostility from New Orsinium. And, in Cyrodiil itself, riots shake the towns and cities; discontent against Emperor Titus Mede II at a high.
Morrowind continues to be shattered among the remnants of the Great Houses, and suffers from An-Xileel aggression, while in Valenwood, the Bosmer ponder whether being part of an Empire of Altmer supremacists is really the best option for them; true, they and the Khajit are far above humans, but still inferiors. More to the point, in Alinor itself, the Thalmor show signs of strain as even other Altmer realize how crazy their rulers are.
And, finally, there are rumors, rumors of a new organization, calling itself the Res Publica, or The Republic, in cities all around Cryodiil, spread and organized by wealthy merchants, burgoise, and middle class-people discontented with Titus Mede's policies. This group calls for a revolutionary form of government, one elected, and taking power, from the people, with a constitution that protects all from arbitary power, and, finally, for unity between all races...

Basically, this is another one of my 'Minimal GMing' RPs, where instead of a specific plot or script, whatever story there is is advanced through 'General Events' affecting large parts of the continent.
Warmod System
When engaging in a battle involving more than a hundred people, instead of just writing the fight in the open, you and your opponent (assuming your opponent's not an NPC) instead submit a set of detailed plans to one of the GMs (_______ or ________), who would then compare said plans to each other and write the results as an RP Event (which is a difference from how War Reports are done in NGs). This has the advantage in that it slows the pace down, allows more time for character development and one-on-one combat, and, well, general RP stuff.
Here's an example:
Player A attacks the City of Falkreath.
Player B defends the City of Falkreath.
Both send War Plans to the War Mod.
The War Mod writes an RP Event, detailing the results.
