Name: Mark LeBeau
Supername: Xerox
Parents/family: Rouge, Gambit (Stepfather)
Appearance:
Battle Form:
Age: 18
Powers: Life Force Blending: His body automatically blends his life force with that of another mutant or human when touching them, transferring memory fragments between them, though he hasn't heard of anyone accessing his memories. This blending allows them to use each other's powers in most cases. If he uses another mutants power enough while blended with their life force, his body remembers how to do it afterwords. This power is not yet at it's full strength, so he doesn't know how to use it properly. Instead he uses it as a form of power duplication.
Power Duplication: Allows him to copy abilities that are used on him. He believes he must be exposed dozens or hundreds or times to learn to use their power in its most basic form. In reality, he merely needs to try and use it while they are touching him.
Kinetic energy transference: Copied from his step father, Gambit, during training sessions, it is significantly weaker than Gambit's form of the power.
Power switching: An ability his mother copied from his biological father, which he learned as a child when trying to control his step fathers powers with his mother's help, it turns his own powers on and off, and allows him to weaken them or return them to full strength at will. This should allow him to use dangerous Beta class abilities, though he hasn't tried it yet.
Personality: More interested in learning about technology and his powers than actually fighting. This has made him a weaker fighter, but a good strategist.
Backstory: After having her powers suppressed, his mom left the X-men. She tried to lead a normal life as a waitress, but when her powers started to surface again she looked for a way to suppress them. She found a young mutant named Switch who could turn the powers of other mutants on and off, and even amplify their powers to their full potential. Though he worked for Magneto, training dangerous mutants to control their abilities, she had him train her. Switch, however, had another plan in mind. He was creating his own mutant army by having children with the most powerful women, their children generally having a version of both parents abilities.
In the case of Rogue, he was able to get her to fall for him, going on "training missions" for him, and defending him against Mrs. Marvel, who learned of his plan and tried to stop him. She absorbed Mrs. Marvel's power during that battle.
When Rouge neared the end of her pregnancy, Switch told her that he would keep the child. She realized that he never really loved her, and, after her son was born, she ran away. She came across Gambit during this time, and, after he helped protect her from Switch's troops, they fell in love. When, years later, the Mutant Registration Act was passed, their family moved to Gambit's new city.
Mark was raised along with his brother and sister, learning to mimic his step father's power. When he got older he started working for Gambit, surveying property and advising him on his investments.
Equipment: Laptop, Cash Cards, A deck of cards, Shuriken, Battle armor, Cheap used car (he doesn't want to attract attention to himself)
